Rules of entry: must be ttc #1 for over a year, be suitably evil and hag-like, and submit your BESHtionnaire for our approval. If you are a baby duster or a hun, this ain't the thread for you.

That's brilliant rain.

I'm up at dawn's crack once again to have a v early breakfast so I can be nil by mouth for long enough if they call me in. At least I managed some sleep last night.

cherrycoconut · 16/07/2014 21:42

Agree this is officially an emergency woo situation, we can declare it so. And anything that would help would be a good thing right now. It's also a big bucket full of wank. I can't believe this euro I'm so sorry you are having to go through this at what should be - and will be in the end - an amazing time. Just awful you have to go through this bit. I'm not surprised you are beside yourself with worry.

In a much more banal parallel am also really lusting after a twat cushion right now.

Fabuluce · 16/07/2014 21:30

Omg an actual twat cushion?? No bloody way! I so want one. Right now

Euro fucking hell they are really stringing you along aren't they Confused I echo the hypnotherapy thing, even though NGECFAWT!! Sometimes in emergencies woo is needed and currently this is an emergency situation I reckon. Thinking of you and Centime lots lovely and hoping for the best.

God euro - no bloody wonder. What a rigmarole. I really hope it's sorted for you a.s.a.p, this must be pure torture.

To go with the dolphin of delight guarding the next cot, I've found this rather special item that can be popped in it as a placeholder till centime arrives to claim his/her ESH-let crown!

barkingtreefrog · 16/07/2014 15:39

Oh ffs euro I'm not surprised you're not sleeping. Have you tried hypnosis? I'm reading a book at the moment about the mind body fertility connection and they bang on about it constantly, tapping into your subconscious in order to make it possible for you to relax when your mind is otherwise going haywire. Some things are just too much for you to cope with without support.

I'm leaving the dolphin of delight at the hospital, guarding the next bed/cot that becomes available.

eurochick · 16/07/2014 15:26

Thanks ladies. Postponed again. We were on our way in when we got the call to say there was no cot. I'm not sleeping and my nerves are completely frayed.

TheRainDrops · 16/07/2014 10:27

Dolphin of delight! Grin

barkingtreefrog · 16/07/2014 08:41

It's a big day so I'm going big - have a dolphin of delight euro, you deserve it!

TheRainDrops · 16/07/2014 07:50

Good luck euro . Will be thinking positive thoughts for you and centime all day. Have a gentle shoulder punch, and go for it lady!

Fabuluce · 16/07/2014 05:56

Wishing you the very best of luck today Euro - will be thinking of you all day.

cherrycoconut · 15/07/2014 22:14

Euro hoping for a smooth delivery for you and centime tomorrow with nothing that provokes a hands and knees getaway through the streets of London. Be ready Rain!

Barking it sounds like it's going in the right direction but still argh for the continued headfuckery. I hope it sorts itself soon so you can enjoy your holiday and the next clinic apt will be just a formality.

Long time no see Blue, glad to see you're checking up on us and back in the game.

I could seriously kill someone today, it's been one of those days when my best laid plans have gone totally and possibly very publicly tits up. Hmm pass the gin!

Blue2014 · 15/07/2014 21:09

Just a quick one to wave some cunt bunting at euro before things start kicking off for you. I promise I will never hun or baby dust anyone but I am gonna send much love (blue ducks quickly to avoid a cod clobbering) and to everyone else, I've been sneaking online for a quick read but am not formally back yet so will catch up properly soon. I'm still on my ttc break (which has been so nice) - back with you all in 7 days and counting (see that's the menkul sneaking back already)

barkingtreefrog · 15/07/2014 14:37

Not yet erica! Just called the clinic and it's still 200+. 3.5 weeks now since the bleeding started Hmm.
It's still going down, and I'm still passing occasional clotty bits, so I'm not overly worried, just pissed off it's not over. I'm going on holiday on Saturday and I'll be away for 3 weeks, could have done without this still hanging over me! (they wanted me in for another blood test but I told them I couldn't come in for another 4 weeks - I'm going to have to go to the hospital yet again on the morning of my first day at my new job Angry)

EricaJ · 15/07/2014 08:10

Euro All the best for tomorrow, no wonder you are feeling a bit gaaaahhh, I would be completely bricking it!

Barking Hope you get a BFN today and you can start moving on. I got mine last Friday and I was really chuffed!

Fabuluce · 14/07/2014 22:32

Euro you're my hero - will be toe holding all the way, cheering and waving cunt bunting when appropriate (whilst stopping any commando escapee rolls where necessary). I can totally understand your fear and anxiety about Centime and there's nothing we can say to help you with that other than to be here with you all the way and after and beyond.

TheRainDrops · 14/07/2014 21:35

euro that is my station - I will man the guard!! FX for Wednesday and a super smooth delivery for centime (and you!)

cherrycoconut · 14/07/2014 21:26

Fabby outdoor weekend, shame work has to be so full on. Yawn. Just finishing up for the day after an early start. Still, hitting it hard because I can and the buzz feels good even if it is a bit stressful .

Euro, bless you chicken, I hope you can grit your teeth and get through the other side of this personal hell. Toe holds and cockles for Wednesday, I hope it will all improve once you get to meet centime. Cold comfort for now I'm sure.

eurochick · 14/07/2014 20:21

Thanks Barking. It was supposed to be today, but a 24 weeker was born who needed our NICU cot, so the next possibility is Wednesday, again dependent upon cot availability.

(It's St Thomas', btw, so watch out for me trying to haul myself in the direction of Waterloo and home Wink)

barkingtreefrog · 14/07/2014 16:48

All sounds like a perfectly normal emotional reaction to me euro, it's early so no-one would expect you to feel ready, and you've been through hell to get here so you'd have to be void of all emotion to not be worried at this point. However I'm fully confident that everything will be far better than you dare hope. Which hospital will you be in? . Any idea yet when you'll be called in? I'm toe holding and will be watching out for news. You'll have your little wonder very soon Grin .

eurochick · 14/07/2014 16:27

Being paralysed from the waist down for a few hours will certainly hinder my running ability. If you hear of a post partum lady commando crawling around central London in the next few days, that'll be me.

I should be excited about meeting centime, but I'm not ready and I'm worried that he/she is not ready or has something badly wrong, and I am absolutely dreading the surgery and recovery combined with the need to get halfway across London daily to see centime in NICU. What should be a happy time feels like just the opposite.

barking I reached that point too. If I had to travel for work over ov or something, I was initially disappointed and then relieved to have a month away from the menkul.

barkingtreefrog · 14/07/2014 15:41

Knew I'd forget something - fankle any response to your email yet?

barkingtreefrog · 14/07/2014 15:34

Wotcha hags. I've been out of reception both phone and internet for 3 days and it's been strangely cathartic!
I'm on a break as well erica, and actually finding it liberating rather than frustrating. I said until September but now it will depend on when our rmc appointment is and how long it takes to get results. So the next iui could be pushed back further again. Might be chilling with you a while longer fab and rain!
Again, weirdly I don't seem to care. I've had enough of temping, opks, recording af, eating wheat free, no/low alcohol, woo needles, constant symptom checking during 2ww, tearful when AF arrives..... In fact I've even told DCW that he's wearing protection. In over two and a half years it's never happened naturally and I don't expect it to, but I'm not going to get a proper 'break' if I still have that relentlessly optimistic little voice saying 'ooo, could I be?' during each 2ww and wondering if I should be drinking, biking etc.

Got my blood test in the morning to see if it's bfn yet. MC was over 3.5 weeks ago and I'm still spotting on and off with little clotty bits. Hmm

Euro so close now! Grin Hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Brilliant news cherry Grin .

Fabuluce · 14/07/2014 07:23

That's good as you definitely won't be able to run anywhere this time! Or want to either as you'll have centime to meet Smile
