tick that was defo a bfp! Congrats!!! Grin

Thanks so much for the new thread bears afraid my stats are wrong though - totally my fault as I got well confused last month. My bfp's due on June 27th. dtd marathon this week (although it's not much of a marathon so far... rushed home from work to find DP playing fifa. Managed to get him in the shower and into bed but then he admitted he wasn't in the mood Hmm
he's working late tomorrow too and I'm due to ov on friday so I hope I can get him in the mood later!

kitkatkaty87 · 10/06/2014 16:32

it must just be a symptom then! Thank you!

poppet85 · 10/06/2014 16:28

Kitkat Ive had quite a few little niggles/cramps no blood or anything major just assumed the poppy seed is getting comfy for the next couple of month !! I did have quite a bit of pain yesterday for about 3/4 mins which I was bit worried about but again no blood hasnt happened again .

kitkatkaty87 · 10/06/2014 15:34

ok thanks guys

Ducky23 · 10/06/2014 15:18

Tori said he!!! GrinGrin

Ducky23 · 10/06/2014 15:17

I had AF type cramps for the first few weeks, think this is all normal kitkat Smile I think you only need to worry if there is severe pain or blood.

Is it just like AF type cramps?

is it normal to get some abdo cramping, i have some now and it worries me :(

Ducky23 · 10/06/2014 13:46

I think youl be safe for centre parks kitkat Smile

With dd we brought little things every week so were fully prepared by the end Hmm but i think it's easier that way

And for anyone that is like me... It's meant to be extremely bad luck to have the pram in the house before baby is born! Shock I have a lovely travel system already but left it at DM's house Smile

do you think its safe for me to book a centre parcs trip at beginning of january in norfolk? i wouldnt be planning on doing much just chilling! Is this ok do you think?

KatoPotato · 10/06/2014 13:01

KitKat I think some of our gang missed out on the trial, wonder if they'd let you nominate someone?

kitkatkaty87 · 10/06/2014 12:59

brilliant tori. we also have someone due this week so will have to go out and find something for them. It will be so hard to not buy anything!!
Did dr take a blood test on first visit? Im not sure exactly what they will do?

We wont be finding out, so i guess we will start buying things at 12 weeks then :) hard to find neutral things that are quirky and funky - more excse to go shopping more! I saw some really cool stuff in tkmaxx a while ago.
I want to try and spread it out, so we dont have to panic and get lots of stuff at the end!

I also got a text from clearblue today, I'll have to tell them i cant do it now!

poppet85 · 10/06/2014 12:40

Not that pink isnt nice just I will be buying any nice clothes regardless of what colour ! Oh god I am digging a hole !!

poppet85 · 10/06/2014 12:23

I dont think I'll buy anything until the 12 week scan and then just buy few neutral bits with animals (love animals !!) Then 20 weeks find out the sex and buy buy buy !!! Iam not into gender specific clothes wont be going mad on pink princess stuff if its a girl not avoiding it but just getting nice clothes !!

Me624 · 10/06/2014 12:22

Thanks girls, I should keep having positive thoughts! Like tori I just don't feel like we dtd enough but I guess it only needs once!

I was thinking of getting some pre seed. I didn't do my research very well and I only realised at the beginning of this month's dtd marathon that you're not supposed to use normal lubes when ttc! Luckily we only dtd once using ky jelly and all the other times haven't used anything so hopefully it won't have affected my chances.

KatoPotato · 10/06/2014 12:14

I'm not going to fuss, It's not exactly a contraception aid! But the thought of a tube with a smiling baby on it just seems wrong!

The balance Activ is a bit more subtle with its plain branding and long nozzle! (I may have actually popped some up after the event while DH was in the bathroom)

poppet85 · 10/06/2014 12:05

me I didnt think it would be our month . I'd spent the whole week look at possible fertility problems we had and got completely worked up by it !!
kato sounds familar !!dh was like that until he realised that there is no such thing as the magic pregnancy fairy !! Even last month I was sneeking in the preseed , he still doesnt know about it . Anything going 'in' needs to be the special stuff !!! Preseed you have to insert all the way up !!!ha !! But dont worry too much I am sure one night wont matter too much

I very kindly got send some OPK and HPK from a MN'er who didn't need them anymore, which is great because I was going and buying them in the supermarket like an undercover agent! At least the Internet cheapies are small and easy to dispose of!

Me624 · 10/06/2014 11:28

kato my DH thinks we're just "seeing how it goes" too. In the first month I did about four tests secretly without telling him, before I decided to stop wasting my money! I did show him the Ovia app the other night though and he thought it was hilarious. He was like you're actually recording when we've dtd? And what do the little droplets mean?

Glad one of us thinks it's funny though, helps me not take it too seriously as well!

KatoPotato · 10/06/2014 11:21

I forgot tori sorry! Congrats!!

Me I totally get you! I keep launching my apps and looking at them too! doesn't help that they both give completely different dates! Hopefully My Days is the accurate one, because according to FF I missed my peak shagging date!

Still on the 'DH thinks we're being dead casual' subject, I bought that balance activ conceive stuff (the tube with the baby on it seemed just wrong somehow!) and have been secretly skooshing it, but missed it one night and DH used the boots own brand instead. Now I'm panicking if that's undone our good work? - toriyou mentioned the durex play stuff? Did you still use that bewfore you got your BFP?
