Lulu I have an autistic brother where his moods are 100 times worse than my DH's, so I guess DH's moods to me aren't too bad. I do get annoyed at him sometimes and I do sometimes think, "I'm sure that I could have a man who was cuddly and sweet all the time" but then I feel bad for thinking that :s I do love DH he can just be an ass sometimes haha.

Oh Ducky :( sorry to hear ur DH is being an ass too. Thankfully my DH hates to drink lots. But congrats on the 12 week mark!! :D when do U have ur scan?

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 07:32

Thank you Grin it does seem to have gone quick!!

I know what you mean about names!! All the boys name DH likes remind me of people I don't want to be reminded of lol! Grin

MrsPopple29 · 15/06/2014 07:25

Congratulations on reaching the 12 week mark Ducky! Can't believe how quickly that time has gone!!! Grin

MrsPopple29 · 15/06/2014 07:23

Morning, hope today is a better day for those who needed to rant yesterday! (Sometimes a good rant is all you need to feel better!)

Our favourite names are Jack, Samuel or Jacob for a boy and Sophie or Emily for a girl. As both DH and I are teachers it's really hard to find names that don't remind us of naughty pupils! In my experience, boys called Henry, Daniel and Max seem to always be a bit of a pain (I'm sure it's just random but still puts me off!) whereas every single Madison, Ellie and Samuel I have taught has been just lovely. It's strange!

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 07:23

Oohhhh I like Lewis! Grin

I'm not really keen on Boys names either.

When are the next lot of BFP's due? Isn't there one due today?

I'm 12 weeks today! Shock Last week of the first tri! Confused

BearsInMotion · 15/06/2014 05:57

Hope everyone is ok this morning!

DP can't drink due to his medication, am glad I don't have to put up with it like he has to put up with me on occasion!am actually quite enjoying him being away though Blush

Back to baby names, we haven't agreed on any boys names! I like biblical ones (Isaac, Jacob, Noah), but DP is having none of it. He likes Harris and Lewis but I'm not keen. Just have to hope if this BFP ever arrives that there's another girl on the way!

Ergh my DH has got so drunk he's completely passed out on the sofa Hmm

He left all the doors unlocked in the house which is nice considering the time and the fact everyone is leaving the pub just down the street so there's some dodgy's about.

I got up to lock up and walked past a bag of sweets so had to grab some Blush now I just have a belly ache.

I usually leave all the lights on for him when this happens so he can noisily find his way to bed at stupid o clock but why should I waste my electric! He doesn't pay the bills!!!! So I gone round turning then all off. If only the bedroom had a bloody lock on the door! AngryAngryAngry

LuluJakey1 · 14/06/2014 23:56

Do you worry about him lng term cupcake or do you know his moods well enough to just manage him?

I could not cope with that kind of moodiness and shouting. My dad, lovely though he was, was a shouter, and I just can't stand shouting. I thik it was all the shouting I heard when I was little.

I can argue with DH but I couldn't put up with him shouting nastily. I think that was why my moodiness scared me a bit earlier in the week. I just don't like emotional upset. Shouting makes me cry- it is like hitting a switch, I just cry. Often because it makes me angry. And I'm not someone who cries very often or easily.

Don't get me wrong, DH is no walkover, he is a very strong character and we have some fiesty discussions but they are discussions.

Anyway, your kitten sounds sweet. We have two cats. They catch bats in the garden at the minute so are busy out tonight!

Cupcake92 · 14/06/2014 23:06

He's just been shouting at them both. Moaned at the kitten for playing with his tunnel lol!

He's cheered up a bit now and decided to play with the kitten now.
My DH is a very strange person haha!

And yes Ducky!! They are so synchronised!

LuluJakey1 · 14/06/2014 22:17

We have spent today gardening and sitting in the sun.

DH went to do the shopping and I said he HAD to get mint magnums, which I haven't tried yet and am really looking forward to. I don't think they have arrived in the north- east yet! They do not stock them.

He decided he was going to get in the garden wheelie bin to squash the stuff down so he could get more stuff in. It tipped over and he fell out onto the lawn. It was very funny but he is ok fortunately. Only his dignity was hurt. Grin

We ate tea outside because it has been so lovely. DH going to watch England match. I can't decide whether to go to bed or watch with him. He wants me to stay up but I could have the bed to myself for hours!

Ducky23 · 14/06/2014 21:58

Ahh cupcake Hmm I should have known, our DH seem to have synchronised their periods!!

Yes that is a shitty thing to happen but there is no way he should take it out on you, ds and the kitten AngryAngryAngry

Hope everything sorts itself soon Hmm

LuluJakey1 · 14/06/2014 21:54

How is he taking it out on the kitten and DS cupcake?

Cupcake92 · 14/06/2014 21:50

Well what a day it's been!!!
FIL went out this morning to do the shopping for Sunday dinner tomorrow, whilst he was doing that his wife hah packed EVERYTHING she owns and left.
She had left her key and a note saying she's left him.
And now DH is rather upset as he's worried about his dad, buts he's taking it out on me, DS and the kitten -_-
I know he's worried about his dad but I don't wanna sit here and be shouted at and moaned at. It's a Saturday night all I want to do is relax as I'm tired.
Rant over ! Haha! I seem to rant far too much :p
Hope everyone is well!!

poppet85 · 14/06/2014 16:11

Lilla heather is my mums name ! I love it you dont hear it much name it will be a middle name if we had a girl

lillamyy1 · 14/06/2014 15:14

That sounds really frustrating, ducky

Yeah, Ruben's my favourite name Cupcake but DP doesn't like it at all! Hmm

BearsInMotion · 14/06/2014 13:11

Oh, I'll definitely test anyway, if AF doesn't beat me to it!

Ducky23 · 14/06/2014 12:57

Lulu I hope the ms wears off soon! I know how you feel I had it awful with dd.

Feeling really fed up today Hmm I'm really really tierd anyway, but then I'm not sleeping either. I'm working longer days than DH and some days have to walk an hour to get home because of where the bus stops Hmm then I come in to find an absoloute wreck of a house. I have to tidy and DH does absoloutely NOTHING to help. He comes in expecting his dinner to be ready and then sits there while I tidy around him (most of it being his mess)

I woke up today at 6, he stays in bed til 12.30, then comes down and sits on the sofa on the computer watching me do all the tidying. It's 1 o clock and I feel so tierd I'm ready to pass out but still so much to do HmmHmmHmm.

Rant over Grin.

steph1204 · 14/06/2014 12:48

Hahaha lilla, as French is my mother tongue, I think Claude is really cute Smile!!!

Cupcake92 · 14/06/2014 11:33

DS** not DH hahaaaa!!

Cupcake92 · 14/06/2014 11:33

Lillamyy I love Ruben! :D
I remember finding out that DH was a boy and we couldn't think of any names we liked at all! It was so hard!
In the end he was called Jayden haha
I love that name but HATE it how everyone tells me it's 'chavvy' well my son is far from chavvy! But we call him Jay or JJ a lot :)

lillamyy1 · 14/06/2014 10:02

Morning everyone! Brew
Been up since 7 due to a really loud argument between a squirrel and a blackbird outside the window!!

Great names, cupcake Smile
There aren't many that me and DP have been able to agree on, but so far:

For a girl, we've decided on Heather (after my best friend) or Ali (after my mum).
Boy: DP likes Luc, Finlay, Sam, Bailey (I'm not so keen on Bailey - I think sounds a bit American). I like Sacha, Cole, Sol, Elliott (loved ET when I was little Grin), Ruben and Beau.

DP was trying to convince me for quite a while to consider Claude (he's half French!) Shock

poppet85 · 14/06/2014 09:56

I have no idea how to tell my parents !! Its their first gc but for the inlaws its the 7th so dont think they'll be AS excited !

LuluJakey1 · 14/06/2014 08:55

Ducky I don't remember dreams very often but that one was bizarre.

Think I will have a little sleep again! DH woke up and has now gone back to sleep so I might as well.

See you all later. Have a nice day everyone!

Me624 · 14/06/2014 08:53

Haven't really thought about it yet (no point until I get my bfp) but I don't think we'll do anything special steph - we usually go round to PILs about once a fortnight for Sunday lunch so would just tell them then. They have GC already (SIL's DC are 10 and 8) so I think they'll be happy for us but not that excited!

For my parents it will be the first GC so I think they'll be a bit more excited though when I vaguely mentioned ttc a while ago my dad said he wasn't old enough to be a grandfather and started sounding very uncomfortable!

The only thing is I'd like both sets of parents to know at roughly the same time, so maybe we'd invite everyone to ours to tell them.

LuluJakey1 · 14/06/2014 08:52

I looked so awful over lunch- ms- she guessed. I cried and she sent me to bed and brought me a cup of tea and told me how bad she was with ms when she had DH and SIL.

FIL went to supermarket for ginger tea.

DH in trouble for letting me drive for 2hrs to their house when I was feeling so crap. To be fair he was on crutches with his knee imobilised so not as if he could have driven.

So hardly the 'big reveal' with all the excitement we might have hoped for!

Oddly, that was my worse day with ms and, now it has stopped, I can't bear the ginger tea but it did help.
