Ducky DH has been presented with a newly dead vole by one of the cats who then rubbed herself against him 'yipping'. He w very touched but she was most upset when he did not give her it back LOL!

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 17:04

A week on Tuesday. Back at the consultant clinic.
Are you feeling better Ducky ? Is DH back?

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 15:57

Thanks guys Smile

Aww lulu that's brill. I have dd's scan photos frames in a row going down the wall under te lightswitch (there's only 3) this time wel frame them and have them going over the top of the lightswitch but I don't know how many il have yet Smile

When is your scan lulu?

Me624 · 15/06/2014 15:06

Ducky I hope your DH is ok when he comes home. Men do get very funny about their mothers!

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 14:12

He has put the first scan photos in it already.Aww!

We're are really excited about the 12 and a bit week scan and what we will see.

I can see a bit of a bump now- or just poor stomach muscles! Grin

lillamyy1 · 15/06/2014 14:08

That's so cute!!!

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 13:21

Lilla DH always gets Father's Day present and card from the cats. This morning he got a new catnip mouse- wrapped up- from one and a packet of Dreamies- wrapped up- from the other. They always get him something they like.

This year he also got a photo frame with the words 'Love at First Sight' on it, just the right size for the scan photos next week!

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 13:07

HmmHmmHmmHmm

Thanks lulu. Smile

No she doesn't drink and his dad doesn't either so I don't know where he gets that from Confused

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 13:00

Ducky He TOLD you to get ready to go to his parents. I hope you told him what he could go an do. What a bloody cheek! Who does he think he is to give orders to you?

I hope he falls down a hole and ends up in Australia with the worst hangover in the world. What a bloody cheek he's got!

And I remember you said his mother isn't very kind to you either. Does she drink much?

I am really angry for you.

Cake Thanks Brew

poppet85 · 15/06/2014 12:52

Dh stayed in last night drank 5 massive bottles of beer and when he drinks he TALKS so much !! So when I said 'yeah alright you've made your point' he gets all huffy!! I I do understand its 10times more annoying because I am not drinking though .

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 12:14

Ergh they stink don't they! It's like they can't control themselves!

I officially hate heavy drinking!

lillamyy1 · 15/06/2014 12:06

Thanks so sorry to hear about your rubbish 12 hours or so ducky
Your DH sounds like he's being very inconsiderate atm. My DP is the same about not wanting to offend his mum - What is it with these grown men not being able to stand up to their mummies?!!
I expect you feel worse about it than you normally would because of your hormones. I hope you cheer up soon? Maybe a little stroll in the sun (i it's sunny there) will help?

I was a bit cross with my DP this morning. We'd agreed (or rather, I'd made him agree) that we were hardly going to drink any alcohol and that he wasn't going to smoke very much this month (because next month we've got a couple of big nights planned) and I wanted us to have as healthy bodies as possible to ttc this month. But last night at the bar he manages they extended the licence for some private party for the owners and he ended up getting shitfaced and only came home at 7am and got into bed all sweaty and stinking of booze!!

lulu the catnip mouse made me Smile

bradders and popple love the names!

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 11:59

I'm dreading him coming back later. Hmm He will be in a vile mood. And no doubt he will say something bad about me to his parents.

poppet85 · 15/06/2014 11:57

ducky I am sure its hormones and of course he loves you and baby . My dh is bit like that very sensitive when, it comes to his family .I get the feeling I MUST enjoy spending time with the in laws and that everything they do is always great . Heaven forbid I ever suggest anything slightly negative about his family !!
Hope it all blows over for you

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 11:47

Well that went awfully.

DH got up and told me to get ready to go to his parents. I told him I couldn't eat that and I said that to him and thought he would have told him mom but he never. He went in a massive strop and told me that I'm going and I will just have to not eat. So I got dressed and then he said fine if you don't want to go and has stormed out.

Don't know if it's hormones or whatever but I can't stop crying Hmm a lot of the times recently I feel that he doesn't even like me. And I don't think that he cares about the baby at all.

bradders85 · 15/06/2014 10:36

Lulu....I love Evangeline but I don't think he'd let me have that so may be just Evie! I love that show!! :) I like nina and florence too!

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 10:05

bradders We have Evelyn and Evangeline on our list - to be shortened to Evie- also have Beatrice! (Talking of House of Eliott), Matilda (Tilly), Mia, Nina, Florence/ Flora, Grace, Anna, Katherine, India and Elodie.

Boys: Isaac, Theo, Guy, Kit, Louis, Geordie, Daniel, Charlie.

Mainly DH choices but I like them.

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 09:45

Well I haven't had ms but woke up this morning and was sick!!! I might try it. It's his own fault! I told him I couldn't stomach it and he should have let her know then Smile

Aww I miss my cat, I do love them. The little weirdos! Smile

Ohhh I love Evie too. Grin

bradders85 · 15/06/2014 09:31

Morning everyone, I'm a teacher too popple so I understand how we associate names to naughty kids!! If and when I get my bfp I already know my girls name - dp has accepted it will not change!! I used to love the house of eliott when I was younger and so due to that programme have always liked the name Evie :-)

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 09:12

Ducky Can you plead ms and stay at home? Just have a nice time to yourself. Let DH have his huff .

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 09:11

She brings them to the bedroom door every night and puts them in a pile. DH left the door open last night when he came to bed after the match and she brought them all in- the others are at the bottom of the bed too(6 in total).

The other cat just strolled in downstairs while DH was making tea. He has had a night hunting in the woodland and bridleway at the end of the back garden where he catches bats, birds, voles, shrews, mice, toads, frogs, rats, collects birds eggs from nests and baby birds.Sometimes he brings them home, sometimes we find them on the patio or in the garden. He scoffed a large breakfast and is now tucked up on his chair in the sun room fast asleep in total contentment.

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 08:28

Aww lulu, a catnip mouse! that's love! My cat would have never shared his!

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 08:27

Aww a catnip mouse!!! How lovely!!

I'm in a dilemma and I need to know what you lot would do in this situation.

DH is going to his parents for lunch today (if he ever drags himself out of bed) his mom is very wierd, she gets VERY offended by small things. DH has told her that I am going too.

My appetite is absoloutely messed up at the moment, she's told him what were having, I told him the other day I would not be able to stomach it but he did not tell her I wouldn't be able to eat it, he just said 'great' to her.

If I don't go, DH and mil will be in a horrible mood. If I do go I will either hVe to force myself to eat a little bit, possibly making myself feel ill for the rest of the day, sending mil in a mood, or, go and not eat and watch everyone else eat, also sending mil in a mood.

ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

What do I do? Hmm

LuluJakey1 · 15/06/2014 08:12

Morning everyone!

I have been given a little present this morning in bed; a catnip mouse, dropped on my pillow at about 5 am (by the cat, not by DH). She looked very pleased with herself and went off and got another one of her collection and brought that as well. Smile

Ducky23 · 15/06/2014 07:54

It's on Tuesday and I'm terrified!!! Confused
