I'm sure everything will be allright poppet!
Tonight, I had a really bad pain on the right side, below my stomach. I'm not bleeding but I'm really stressed, even more after what happened to you poppet. I'm really sad tonight and DH is away until next week... :(

Yes I feel better and knackered !! I am still not 100% convinced about baby but I dont know if I ever will be !!

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 21:22

Hahahah il probably end up like your friend!!!! Grin

LuluJakey1 · 16/06/2014 21:09

Poppet well that sounds ok doesn't it. Do you feel reassured?

Ducky Honestly, I am just pouncing on DH at the moment! We are having a great time. Very loved-up (and after hating him irrationally for a few days last week!) but know it must be hormonal and is likely to change. No doubt in a couple of weeks it will all have changed again.

One of my friends went off sex as soon as she was pregnant, did it once when the baby was 2, got pregnant again and has never done it since. DD12, DS 9! Says she has no interest at all in anything physical.

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 20:51

No nothing since early this afternoon ,bleeding was nothing more than half a teaspoon at most .Its good to know the epu is about 20min away from my house if I need be though !! Ive decided to tell work tomorrow so I dont worry about it in the future my boss is pretty good .

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 20:42

They usually say 6 ish weeks poppet but I bet they can do something if your worried. I have heard of people having scans at 5 weeks Smile

Has there been any more pain or spotting?

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 20:23

He was so lovely poked my stomach took a urine sample all fine . He said to go to the epu they have drop in , he said it might be too early to pick anything up so they might take bloods . Think I will go on wednesday

MrsPopple29 · 16/06/2014 19:33

What did the doctor sat poppet? Glad you're feeling better!

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 19:23

It makes a massive difference having a nice dr doesn't it Smile

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 19:16

Ha !! I have but toilet habits has changed since getting pregnant thats for sure !! Just sat waiting for the doctor already feeling much better at least I will be registered somewhere as pregnant and I am seeing my own nice dr . Drama hopefully over until I freak out next week !!!
Thank you so much ladies you're all amazing xx

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 19:00

I'm still checking the loo roll incase of blood!

Lulu I had them pains a lot apparently it's just everything stretching Smile I can't beleive your at it! I won't let DH near me still BlushBlushBlush haha

I know, from what I read most hcp will say it's wind but it's too low down for that!

Don't want to sound like a tramp poppet but have you been going to the toilet ok? Also trapped wind can cause that pain too Blush the sexy side of pregnancy!!! Wink

kitkatkaty87 · 16/06/2014 18:44

Aw poppet I hope it's ok. I am also constantly worried about losing the baby. I feel like I am constantly looking out for any signs that something isn't right. I have also had no morning sickness yet. I haven't got any symptoms wither really. Just bigger boobs but that could just be me putting on weight anyway!
What did the Dr's say poppet?

I can believe it ducky! It's a fair size at the point your at, makes sense to me!

And poppet I have had some serious trapped wind pains this last week which freaked me out. I'm guessing it was trapped wind as it eased off when I lay of my stomach! But I got freaked out by that too.
It may be pain to do with the bowels, spotting may even have been from that end if you're constipated at all? Sorry for tmi guys!

LuluJakey1 · 16/06/2014 18:42

Hope you are ok Poppet. I felt like Af was going to start for about two weeks- had cramps and was running to the loo to check.

Tori Don't do it if you don't want to. Don't feel pressured by DH. He can sort himself out.

DH and I have been doing it lots and it's been even nicer than usual! Grin And hasn't caused any problems. I think it's that worry that it will somehow cause damage that makes us scared. Once we'd done it a couple of times, I forgot about the worry.

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 17:10

It is very difficult not to work yourself up about every little thing when your pregnant. I'm absoloutely terrified about this scan tomorrow, I think it's just because I know all to well what can go wrong at these things Hmm

But, I am pretty sure I can feel some very small flutters from movement, most healthcare people say it's not possible but after googling it looks like it's very common with your second to feel then early. Am hoping I feel so much this time it drives me crazy Grin hopefully I will as they don't think I will have an anterior placenta this time Smile

I had a nice surprise this morning though as work have said they are putting me on light duties so i don't get stressed GrinGrinGrin. Winner!

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 16:48

Yes I ve got myself all worked up and feel slightly silly now and everyones being nice which makes me went to cry !!
ducky tell me about it !! They were saying 'oh you look very stressed dont let the job get to you' !! I wanted to shout at them luckily kept my cool .......just !!

Poppet try not to worry, I know that is a LOT easier said than done, don't forget pregnancy plays havoc with your bowels etc, after dd I ended up crippled over in pain litrally unable to stand, I was convinced I was in labour again and they must have missed one but after getting to hospital, it turned out I needed a poo Blush

Let us know how it goes x

I work with volunteers too, so difficult at times Angry

Bugaboom · 16/06/2014 15:41

Hi poppet. I had bleeding around 6 weeks. Lasted about an hour light flow. Got EPU appointment and all was fine. I hope the doctor reassures you.

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 15:40

me it was a very very small amount of spotting like pin sized . I wasnt that bothered about that it was more the stomach pain which could actually have been more bowel related . I know sounds stupid but I cant tell the difference and so panicked !! I am in london so theres probably a whole range of epu but I feel silly now as theres no pain or spotting !

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 15:35

I know I feel bit foolish now for getting all worked up but its SO difficult at this stage because you cant tell anyone . I manage an office of volunteers and wanted to scream 'I am pregnant and I am really worried please stop asking me questions and being annoying !!!' . Glad I didnt !! least I ve got in to see the dr quicker !!

Me624 · 16/06/2014 15:27

poppet try not to worry too much, lots of women get bleeding and it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. The doctor won't be able to do much though, you really need an early scan. Is there not another EPU you can go to?

KatoPotato · 16/06/2014 15:22

Oh poppet try not to worry, I'm sure everything will be okay! Thinking of you x

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 14:58

Todays been eventful ! I first noted some spotting earlier tiny dots , I then had about an hour of on of strong stomach pains . The drs didnt open again until 2pm and I didnt want to rush off to a&e ad I would have to tell my boss .Come 2pm it stopped I phoned dr to get an emergency appoint . Explained everything to receptionist she said "but you've already got an appointment in 10 days" I said I would like to see someone sooner because of the pains . She said 'do you think its baby you could go to epu ?' She then laughted and said 'oh no thats closed now my mistake' eventually I got an appoinment after work , I am not too hopeful .

KatoPotato · 16/06/2014 14:24

I'm with you girls! No idea when I ov'ed this month, assuming CD14 or so, but I have three different apps giving me completely different AF due dates!

I'm currenytly DC26 - AF came this time last month - but usually around CD 28 or 29.... bahhhh I am not one ounce hopeful, and just want AF to put up or shut up!
