DH has volunteered us to look after a 15 month old on Saturday from 11-4. His best friend is taking his wife out for a birthday lunch.

DH thinks it will be good practice for us. The baby is called Leo. He is very cute. I think we might be in for a bit of a shock! we haven't got a clue

Not convinced by DH's comment 'How hard can it be for two adults to look after a 15 month old baby for a few hours!'

I'm such an idiot - was getting really excited about AF being late then just reused its due in Friday - so not late at all! Argh another 2 days to wait!

Tori sorry to hear that :( me and my DH fought a lot in the early stages of pregnancy. It takes men a lot longer to get to grips about having a family and a new responsibility. Things will be alright in the end :) just keep talk to him about the good things like remind him about how adorable the baby will be and who they might look like! Hope u feel better soon :(

Tori - sometimes they just get it wrong. He probably thought he was being helpful saying that. Probably meant once the baby is here safely, you will be less worried and your hormones will settle down and you'll feel less easily upset. Just didn't put it subtly.

I had the scan and everything was fine. I asked if I could sit and be last to see if DH could get there. He made it - just. Was there about 5 mins before we went in. And I was pleased to see him even though I would have been ok.

Smudge had hands and feet this time- really clear hands and fingers- and was kicking me but I couldn't feel it. Seemed to be wriggling round quite a lot. She said 12 weeks and 5 days which was about what we thought. Said he/ she was very active. DH veered between excited and emotional and got very teary a couple of times. Held my hand and squeezed so hard he hurt it! He wanted to know boy or girl but she said she could not tell.

Nuchal fold thing was fine . She said it was 2 which is good apparently. Had bloods taken as well. She said all markers and measurements are fine.

I was excited but didn't cry. Couldn't believe all the movement and I could not feel a thing. Looks just like a baby now, resemblance to Mr Potato head has decreased! DH has framed pictures already. He rang SIL to tell her and I could hear him getting emotional again. Aww!

We have been out for a meal to celebrate.

I got a call from cb today as well! Not sure how DP will feel about my wee being in the fridge lol! It also sound like a lot of effort... Wondering g if I can be bothered now. But I hues it'll be worth it to see if I ov; I used opks inconsistently this cycle but didn't get a positive.
