Mines the same cupcake Hmm

I knew yours was due a funny turn soon, based on our DH synchronised periods. ThanksThanks

Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 09:44

Anybody else got a twat head for a DH?? (Excuse my French!)
Whilst I was asleep last night he's gone and messaged one of my close friends who I've know for years and met at church, and been abusive to him all because he called me "my dear" how childish can he get!!
He said it in the context of 'that was rather silly my dear!"
In sorry but what's wrong with that?? And what is DH's problem??!! Angry why are men such idiots!!!!

My DH has turned into this crazy person recently. I don't get it! Where's my kind caring DH gone??
:(

macmissy · 20/06/2014 09:17

definitely Poppet! for me it's the whole contraceptive patch issue, there just isn't enough research into it & having being on it for 9 years it freaks me out a little.

we'll get there girls, try not to get bogged down by the journey!

poppet85 · 20/06/2014 09:14

steph I ve felt awful all this week in the mornings and last night , which was interesting !!not actually been sick but cant stomach food . This morning much better !! Hope it doesnt last long for you

poppet85 · 20/06/2014 09:12

mac I always thinks its the not knowing element which is the worst , I am sure if someone/something can say yes it will be fine then you automatically start to relax a bit more

steph1204 · 20/06/2014 09:07

Hi ladies!
FX for Bears and Cupcake!
I have horrible morning sickness today and I'm really tired... It is not going to be a very productive day, not at all :(

macmissy · 20/06/2014 09:06

wow! I haven't been on in a little and can't keep up!

for those who are worried (sorry, I've read a shit ton of messages) have you looked at paying to see if you can actually conceive? I'm 34 (tomorrow) and 2 of my friends who are older had similar worries, they TTC for a while (one of them 3 years) and nothing, then had the test, realised they could and both fell straight away. I'm going to do that if I don't get my BFP next, just to know. I'm sure it's got something to do with positive vibes - but maybe that's the hippy in me! I think it's about £50 - I'll definitely be doing it, the amount i've spent already on TTC goodies it'll be worth it I think.

sending you all some positive loveliness, I'm pretty chilled out, day off work to prepare for a little gathering tonight for my birthday - if we don't conceive this month due to a massive amount of positivity then we never will! Grin

poppet85 · 20/06/2014 08:53

Thats a lovely story ! Dont give up hope but sounds like you've got a nice day today with DD Grin

Bearsinmotion · 20/06/2014 08:33

I'll give it one more cycle then see the GP If nothing then.

My ex colleague who is the same age spent 10 years TTC. Eventually got pg via IVF and had twins. When the twins were 2 she went on holiday, decided she didn't need contraception one night ... She's now on maternity leave! So I'm not giving up hope, but I do need to remind myself it doesn't really matter if we don't if you see what I mean.

poppet85 · 20/06/2014 08:08

bears Its not too late but you should go and see your gp get the ball rolling plus if you do that its bound to happen ,sods law!! Took us 5 cycles !

Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 08:05

Just been googling chemical pregnancies.
Apparently u get very faint positive right up until u have AF.
And chemicals make ur AF a few days later than usual.
So I'm guessing it may have been too early for a chemical?
Oh I don't know I guess I'll find out next week haha!
I'm off on a weekend away with my mom today so I can't test all weekend which will be good!!!

Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 07:58

Awww 'duddles' how cute!!!

My DS only says mum mum mum or dadada. But if he's eating and he likes it he goes 'umm umm umm' meant to be yum yum yum :p haha bless him.

Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 07:56

Ducky AF is due in 5 days on the 25th.

Bears like Ducky said keep positive Thanks

Bearsinmotion · 20/06/2014 07:50

Cross post Ducky!

I have to remember it's not the end of the world if we don't have another and try to relax but it's hard when you build yourself up every month.

In other news I have the day off with DD today, she is missing DP and keeps asking for "duddles" which is cheering me up :)

Not yet cupcake, I think for over 35s the advice is to try for 6 months before going to GP.

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 20/06/2014 07:46

Cupcake with chemicals isn't AF on time? When is your AF due?

Bears it's not too late, maybe have a word with your gp and they will probably put your mind at rest. They say most people will concieve in 6 months so keep positive Thanks

Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 07:42

Bears have u ever talked to ur doctor about it?
Just express ur concerns, u never know how they might help

Bearsinmotion · 20/06/2014 07:34

This is cycle 5. Am nearly 40 though and think I might have just left it too late :(

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 20/06/2014 07:33

Bfn for me as well bears!
I feel like u. Starting to give up. We'll be going onto cycle 4 if this month is a bust :(
Must have been a chemical pregnancy. Can't explain the random positives :/

Eugh. Not testing now. If AF don't show by next Friday then I'll test. But I can't take no more bfns :(

If it was a chemical wouldn't I start to bleed soon anyway?

poppet85 · 20/06/2014 07:31

So sorry bears but it will happen for you . What cycle are you on ? I know how disappointing it is

Ducky23 · 20/06/2014 07:15

Don't give up hope bears. It will happen!!!

MrsPopple29 · 20/06/2014 07:10

Test again today cupcake!

I always get Envy when I see anyone with a bump, no matter how big or small! Only a little twinge at the moment but goodness knows what it will be if ttc takes a long time.... 8 dpo now, teeth feeling much better and no real other symptoms apart from feeling hungry. But then I'm usually hungry.

Bearsinmotion · 20/06/2014 07:08

Gave in and tested this am. BFN :(

Am beginning to think it's just not going to happen for us :(

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 20/06/2014 07:00

And I had AF type cramping cupcake for the first few weeks

Ducky23 · 20/06/2014 06:59

Have you tested cupcake?!???

It's completely normal to be Envy, I was when my friend announced their pregnancy and I was pregnant at the time! I was just jealous that they were ahead of me!! Haha oh dear Blush
