The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Sorry to hear that Boozle but next month indeed!

Boozle80 · 24/06/2014 09:32

13dpo so it'd probably be showing now if it was going to :(. Next month Gadget!

Lou07708 · 24/06/2014 09:05

boozle I was thinking about you on the tube to work, where I might add there were ZERO preggas spots Smile
Seeing a negative after what we have been through is heartbreaking and I have been trying to think of one way to make it easier. I struggled but I did think it's not just the negative, it's another reminder of loss and grief. I am going to try and think of ttc as ttc for number 1 and how exciting it felt to be trying for the first time, without fear, anxiety etc.
I know it's not ttc no 1 and we have all suffered. But it is a new pregnancy we are all aiming for. Just worth trying to be positive. Allow the tears and heartache of the bfn but try not to let let it define the future xx

sebsmummy1 · 24/06/2014 08:48

Boozle - chin up darling. It will happen for you, even if this month isn't your month. The earliest I would ever get a positive is 10dpo btw, if you're testing before that then it could be a false negative.

Well I am 6dpo. Due on in six days, nothing really going on, will wait for my period I think unless I get some screaming symptom that requires a stick!! Not convinced I even ovulated to be honest.

Hope26 · 24/06/2014 08:00

Ah booze don't give up hope it will happen!! I know it must be heartbreaking.. Your patience is just being tested. Stay steadfast and it will happen soon. I suggest you avoid googling anything because that can drive you insane!

Ah big hugs for you

Lou07708 · 24/06/2014 07:59

boozle how Many dpo are you?

Boozle80 · 24/06/2014 07:44

I poas, it was negative, I feel very sad :(

Metalhead · 23/06/2014 22:53

treacle and hope with my last BFP we only dtd once on the day I got my +opk, so don't despair if you don't manage to do it a lot this month!

Glad your erpc went well Oneday, give yourself time to recuperate and make sure your DH looks after you the next few days.

FlorenceandZebedee · 23/06/2014 22:40

Best wishes one day I echo Monten : be kind to yourself and let others be too. Hormones are a beast so do whatever you need to to survive them. Rest up and take care x x

Monten · 23/06/2014 22:15

Well done one day, so glad it's all over. Well done for bring brave. Be kind to yourself in the coming days, take it easy, be still. Let people look after you. Let your hormones do their thing. Come here when you need us.

Hugs for everyone else. I've had a rubbish day too. Something in the air it seems. X

Lou07708 · 23/06/2014 22:01

oneday good to know the erpc is over. I was strangly strong as an ox when I went through it. The following two weeks were emotionally tough but it's increased by hormones. Sounds like you have the love of hub and family which pulled me through the dark days. You are right, tomorrow is another day and that's the way to approach it. Talk to us as well xx
I too like hope prayer for everyone of us every night.

Littlelady33 · 23/06/2014 22:01

Oneday so glad it went well and that you're feeling ok. You'll have ups and downs but the limbo of waiting for the ERPC is one of the worst things, it's a relief I think to put it behind you. I was practically euphoric after mine, so scared of my first GA I was thrilled to be alive! Good that DH can take time off with you, and that you won't be on your own too much. I didn't have much company and went back to work far too early which was a bit of a mistake in hindsight - take the time you need and be kind to yourself.

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2014 21:57

Well done for being so strong oneday xxx

Carly6971 · 23/06/2014 21:56

Awww onemore glad today went as well as it could! wishing u a speedy physical recovery x

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 23/06/2014 21:51

Hi all

I'm sorry everyone has had down days. I'm sorry I can't offer any advise and reciprocate with advice like you've all done for me but my heart does go out to each and everyone who's finding things tough. I thought I'd send you a quick update as you've all been so lovely and well wishing.

So had the ERPC today. Stressful and long day as lots of emergencies that obviously took priority over me. Not a pleasant experience of course (though on where near as bad as I was expecting) and now bleeding quite a bit but so relieved to have had it over and done with. Felt more emotionally strong today than the last few days and am wondering if it will all hit me later on or tomorrow. So glad to be home and DH is working from home tomorrow to be around. My ma is then coming over on Weds to sit with me too.

Phew, tomorrow is another day!

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2014 21:50

Im just wondering the same thing hope, we had dtd since af went until about 5 days after I thought ovulation was.
This time we won't manage that much.

It only takes one little swimmer so try not to worry :)

Hope26 · 23/06/2014 21:45

Let the summer conception begin!! We are all worried and have crap days.. But there is always hope ladies. Stay strong and soon we will all be pregnant. I really believe in prayer and every single day a prayer goes out to all the women who have lost a child to be blessed again with another, that includes all of you lovely ladies.

Honestly this 2ww is an absolute killer.
I remember in January when I conceived, we dtd for a week every single day during my fertile window. This month we only managed to dtd four times... will that lessen the chances of conceiving by a lot?

Carly6971 · 23/06/2014 21:10

broody so sorry you had an awful afternoon :( hope ur back massage helps make you smile again.

I too also had a sept due date and a holiday next week that I would have been to far gone to go on, that I am now going on :( I was also looking forward to breaking up for the summer hols and not going back in sept, I think that's why I am so sad lately..,this isn't what I should be doing now...but hey ho.

So I got my peak on my cbfm today, backed up by a cb digi, backed up by ic (I am not obsessed I promise lol) so fingers crossed x

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2014 20:43

Sounds a good plan smiling!
I can't be bothered to dtd but equally can't bear not to as I want to be pregnant again. Should be ovulating within the next week hopefully.
I'm temping again.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 23/06/2014 20:41

Oh broody im sorry youve had such a bad end to the day, ive got horses and I cant imagine how horrible losing your horse while he was out on loan must have been x

My edd was october so I had planned to work up to when the kids went back to school in sept, using al for the first 2 weeks. Ive decided to take the week the baby was due off of work; I dont think ill be much use to anyone.

Im still feeling wobbly and have had moments today when ive wanted to curl up and sob but im actually feeling much more positive, we dtd this morning as im due to ov this week at some point. Im not charting as im afraid ill turn into a mad women, so we are going with the dtd as many times a day, every day approach!

Treaclepie19 · 23/06/2014 20:16

I'll join you ladies in the hope of being pregnant by Sept.

My due date was Xmas eve so I was planning on not going back after october half term :(

Oh ladies big hugs. I think we all need them today xxx

Metalhead · 23/06/2014 20:09

Oh broody I'm sorry you've had such a rubbish end to your day! Back massage sounds lovely though, I think I might have to ask DH to give me one too (he did ask how he could make me feel better today... Smile).

FlorenceandZebedee · 23/06/2014 20:04

hope fingers crossed for BFPs before sept.

broody sorry your lovely day ended up so upsetting. Hope you get your back massage to cheer you up, hooray for lovely hubbys!

broodylicious · 23/06/2014 19:42

Hi all. Sorry to see some of you are so low. It's unbelievable how all of our lives are changed within that horrid instance, don't you think? I never have thought it would hurt this much in my wildest nightmares.

I started off the day very chipper, still very pleased that AF is here and signalling the start of my first cycle since mc. Had a lovely time at dancing class with dd this morning too. Then I decided to tackle the shed, ahead of our house move next month. Mistake. Found all my horsey things - equipment, tack, half used shampoo, competition stuff - and just broke down. I put my horse out on loan while I had dd but he died while he was away so all the redundant stuff today was a reminder of what I had and how much I loved him. Then of course, naturally thought about our baby and well, it finished me off! Hmm Dh is on orders for back massage tonight to help me chill a bit!

Hope26 · 23/06/2014 18:55

Florence it really does suck thinking about sept. I will get better and easier once the term starts. I'm hoping to be pregnant before sept so I don't feel as bad...
