april I think my rl friends who know about me ttc are getting fed up of me talking about it so it's great to have somewhere to chat to others in the same position.

blueberry I've had acupuncture before and it is amazing. The needles are so fine you barely feel them. Once they are in place you'll be left to relax for a short while, I never thought lying there with needles stuck in various places would feel so nice but it was lovely. I didn't have it for ttc purposes though so don't know if it's different. Reflexology is also amazing. I'm v.ticklish and didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did.

I'm taking the dc to the dentist soon and thinking about calling in boots while I'm out, I need to stay away. If I buy a fr I know I'll do it tonight and spend the rest of the week fed up but it's ssoooo tempting!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that AF has arrived Nordic and that you are suffering from horrible cramps. GrandHighWitch has started a July bus which I plan to hop straight aboard if/when AF turns up!

Af arrived at 12dpo so a bit early again accompanied with the worst cramps of my life . These remind me more of one of my mc . I've slept all day so far (dd at nursery ds school thank god) and will be taking nurofen + now... I think I'll give school coffee morning a miss tomorrow . So not in the mood and day no2 of af always the worst for me...

Thanks Blueberry I got a massive urge to POAS (Superdrug) and BFN at 13DPO (not fmu though) am spending far too much time googling and reading about women who have had BFNs at 13DPO and gone on to get BFPs.
Welcome Cpt I was nervous when I first posted too but being on here makes the whole ttc process that bit easier.

IF I ovulated im about 5/6dpo feel rather weird today I keep feeling dizzy and seeing the spots in my eyes when I stand up. Im drinking loads and ive eaten so im not sure hopefully im not coming down with something.

Just over a week until gynae app and im getting proper nervous.

I've spent the last few hours trying really hard to make a website for the old horse/dog training business but by 'eck it's hard work! My brain actually aches now from staring at the screen for so long! (High five to those who can use computers for a living - usually mine has been threatened to be thrown out of the window after an hour if it's not for leisure reasons I can stay on here for hours! ).

Got brain ache now though (and a grumbly hungry tummy) so I'm having a break from concentrating and might even out some rubbish daytime TV on to soothe the old noggin...

well I think I am now 1/2dpo and in the 2ww. sounds like there are a few of us at the same stage in our cycles - spinning we are cycle buddies again I think! feel like we did everything we could this time so I'm praying it's our turn. I don't want to put my DH through another month, he's got enough stress as it is so would be lovely to give him some good news and take the pressure off something in his life! !

spinningirl19 it's nice to hear someone else looking forward to going back to beginning after being out of the baby phase awhile. I was at a party on Sat, there only 1 person there who knew about us ttc. Someone asked me about children and I got lots of comments about being lucky that I was no longer suffering the sleepless nights and dirty nappies, I was dying to say I'm longing to be woken in the night by a baby. I'm really looking forward to telling the older 2 they are going to be big brothers!

floweryboots try the head over a bowl of steaming water with a towel over head trick. If you've got some Vicks or snuffle babe add some of that too. Sounds like you need some unblocking before your head does pop! Hope you manage to get some rest. I've got ds2 home from school, he's v.green looking, feeling sick. He hasn't been sick yet, hopefully it'll stay that way.

Does anyone else get sore nips immediately after ovulation? I've been getting them each time... my frenemy Google has suggested that it means I won't get a BFP (it's possibly a hormonal response to no fertilisation). I do try not to believe everything I read, but is there any truth whatsoever in that? Trying to find counter evidence that someone got sore nips (note: not boobs!!) post ov and went on to get a BFP in that cycle but not much luck yet.

Can I just get a shout-out to MN by the way? As all of you have been saying, for the obvious reasons of you lot/it being amaze, but also because it's not as cringey as all the American boards? You know, where everyone lists a ton of info in their signatures, and have creepy photos up next to their names. Here's to keeping it real/understated over here in true British style.

I should join the Friday POAS party. I bet if I am PG it would show by Friday on a FRER. But DH says no until after the weekend and we are rid of all but 1 guest (have 4 male friends staying for first weekend of workd cup). I think test so I can have some drinks with them if I'm not pg!

The Boots household has turned into a great big ball of snot and tissues. I feel utterly rotten, DH not great, kids both snotty as anything but also still full of energy. Argh. And of course I don't feel I can take any sudafed incase am PG. Got to say, hot squash and paracetomol not cutting it at the moment, my head feels like it's going to explode. Sticking CBeeBies on and egarly awating nap time so I get down to only entertaining 1 child. Urgh.

This is my 1st mumsnet post,I'm stupidly nervous!

I'm hoping to grab a late seat.Af is due in 6 days I got a smiley face on a cb ov test on the 1st but didn't test again after that, will I have ov'd on the 2nd? This is our 1st month ttc#3, with the other 2 I didn't do anything other than do the do lots so I'm a total novice.

There will be a big age gap between dc if I'm lucky enough to have a 3rd, I have 1 at 15 and 1 at 11. We've had to wait for 9yrs to ttc as I have an illness that went off the rails and has taken this long to stabilise. I've wanted this to happen so badly for so long that it doesn't feel like our 1st month ttc. I'm obviously symptom spotting like a maniac but trying to resist testing. I did buy a test (cheapy from bodycare) I went to do it yesterday but the box was empty! A shoplifter obvs got there before me. I've taken that as fate sticking her oar in so I'm going to try and wait until next Mon if AF doesn't show before then.

Congrats to those who have got their BFP! Hope you have a v.healthy 8months(ish), reading your posts has given me a good dose of joy & hope. I'm on a bit of a time limit to get my BFP before it's game over, so you sharing your precious moments here gives me a huge boost of positivity.
