Ok there's some clearblue fertility monitors going cheap and ending soon on eBay. I'm very tempted to get one. And then then for sure I'll get a BFP on Sunday and not need to use it right?! I shall just save it for next time...!!! Or gift it to my friend!!
Or of course have to use it myself when I actually get AF..!!

I've been away for a few days the last 2 weeks so have been reading on my phone but its too painful to type on there!

Ladyflower does surging mean ovulating? Just checking!! If so I hope you are DTD I have just used my first OPK and got a positive straight away, I was meant to start testing on Sunday but as I was away it was too much hassle. CD14 today of a 28 day cycle so I am not surprised but always impressed how predictable my body is! Now I just have to get on with seducing DH again!

RedBunny I admire your patience. I give you permission to test BUT as you're only 9dpo it might not be accurate yet and then you will be in the same place as if you hadn't tested. So, I say wait until Saturday or Sunday, and in the meantime I would enjoy a few glasses of wine as you might not be able to soon!

My pregnancy tests are here! I've got 6 sitting in my bathroom cupboard.... My thinking was knowing my luck I won't be pregnant again and I can keep them til next time. But it's hard to know I have so many and not use one!!! I know they are extra sensitive but someone tell me it's silly to test anyway....??

Indeed Ladyflower! I always detect my surge at lunchtime/ afternoon but I've read that's because it usually starts mid morning. So makes sense. Go you! Go get a baby!! We need more BFPs on our thread!

POAS addiction is ruining my sleep now. I woke up early excited about peeing on my dual hormone and it was another flashing smiley!!! Nooooooooo. Where's my surge?!!! I've now used up all those ones, so will just have to obsessively pee on my Amazon cheapies. Oh yeh and remember to have sex because that might help!
Newbie & Redbunny - at what time of the day did you get your solid smileys? And when using the ones with lines, does the test line gradually get darker as LH day approaches or can it suddenly go from light one day to dark the next? I knew these would make me stressed!

It's horrible waiting isn't it? I'm now 9dpo and going by all my past pregnancies I've only got 3 days left (til 12dpo) to get a definitive answer!! Then I can't help but think I'm probably not pregnant and it feels like ages to wait to get back to ovulation time for another shot!! I hate ttc!! It feels like so much work!!

Don't do it Redbunny! Wait til 10 dpo at least. And I'll give you a shiny gold star if you can hang out til 12 dpo.

Oh Ladyflower I've had the hardest time not POAS this evening. I'm 8dpo!!! I've just read about some people getting positives this early and I can't help but think "it'd be so cool if I was one of them!" And it's not helped that my husband was out this evening as well. It makes testing too accessible to me!! Fortunately I restrained myself but for how long!! I feel like I'm gonna test tomorrow for sure..... And disappoint myself!

Yeh redbunny, i have decided NOT to think about the amount of money I have spent on HPTs/OPKs this year...or to reveal to DH the full extent of sticks that I have purchased.
Talking of which, I tested with one of my cheapie OPKs tonight and still no surge!!!!! I was really expecting to get a positive this evening like a true addict I'm about to go and POAS again just in case my wee was too diluted last time! I have my last hormonerator stick left now, so if I don't get a surge tomorrow, I'm going to have to spend even more £s buying another one. AGH!!!!! This baby is costing me a fortune before it's even conceived!!

Good luck red bunny, hope this is your month! I'm now 3dpo I think and bizarrely don't think I am obsessed this time? Have decided if I can I will wait until 11th July to test which would be day before my AF is due. Don't want to get my hopes up like last 2 times and then get disappointed :( felt slightly crampy last night and today but who knows!

I'm feeling exactly the same! I've gone opposite, haven't even let myself have tests in the house so that I don't obsess! (So instead doing the alternative of trawling the internet for every feeling I get!) have had lots of cramps the last week which isn't normal for me.. Hope your signs are good ones and you get your BFP! Xxx

How is everyone else holding up? Better than me I hope. The only thing I'm doing better this month is having stocked up on superdrug early tests on the buy one get one half price so at least I can obsessively test again and not be spending £££ on first response. I'm scared to think how much I've spent on pregnancy tests the last year....

Well I am 12dpo on the 6th which has always been the day I get BFPs so I shall be testing then too! Maybe before then as well though.... Cuz I am a rebel and I hate the two week wait! But anyhow.... I'm very very worried that if it isn't I will be really upset but I'm kind of optimistic for this month.... Like it has to be my month!! I had like the teensiest bit of brown in my cm today once when I wiped and I'm like.... "Implantation bleeding??!!!! Makes sense cuz I thought I felt it two days ago and it takes a couple days for the blood to get out...!!!" But then I stop myself from getting excited by thinking that's actually super rare and it's probably just something else going on... Sigh.

Hey, been watching this thread for ages and am at the same stage as some of you! I came off depo last July and been ttc since then... I'm 22 and DH is 28, this would be our 1st baby... no joy yet but this month should be able to test on 6th July - 2ww is killing me though! Have seen the Dr for scans and bloods in march and all looked good so hoping its just the after effects of the depo slowing things down! baby dust to all! xox

Ladyflower, love the pre-ovulation symptoms! I am determined to be all unworried this cycle. If I recall correctly, last time round, I didn't even test until 5+2, and I had the tiredness and sore boobs already but nothing else (and even those only for a few days) so I am resolutely writing every little twinge down to general malaise.

We've managed 4 out of 5 of the allegedly fertile days according to my phone apps, might get one more in today if we have any energy left, and then both apps say it's all over anyway so DH will have to try really hard to get any while I collapse in a corner.

And Sarah you are too, really, sperm can live for up to a week apparently so you never know. Also I've heard about people getting pregnant from having sex once or twice the whole month. I was very 'grr how unfair!' To hear it but it does happen.

Don't worry newbie You are in with an excellent chance with DTD on both your peak days. If it's any help I was feeling quite positive about last month and got BFN so not sure our intuition is any good when it comes to this!
Katybear sorry to hear still no AF and you are feeling so crappy. Does sound as though it could be on the way though. You are in with a chance DTD every 4 days. I think 2-3 is the optimum, but who wants to do that it much (apart from Redbunny )?! That's why I've gone onto OPKs now. Might be that you have now ovulated if you are cramping anyway, sounds as though something's happening

Hi ladies so. Ice to hear how you are all doing. I'm day 51 still no af went to dr on day 50 and he reassured me this is quiet normal and that it's likely my ovaries are waking up having been on the pill for 17 yrs. I have horrid period type cramps and feel awful teary just wish af would arrive. Meanwhile we r continuing to dtd but not as regularly roughly every 4 days do u think this is enough? It's so tiring to keep doing it all the time :-(

I'm 38,will be 39 in Sept so feel clock is ticking, my DS is 16mths old and happened v quickly so am now panicking that something must be wrong, stupid I know but you know what it's like when you want something you get v impatient!

don't give up hope now if you dtd previously then you've done all you can. I've now totally written off this month and am out having cocktails, the reality has set in that I'm totally imagining any symptoms and I'm actually quite deluded. (though secretly still clutching at straws and having one low alcohol cocktail...)

Well I failed to drug hubbie so never DTD today! Did an OPK this morning on my CB dual hormone thing and got an empty circle so praying that the fact we have DTD on my 2 peak fertility days will be suffice! Have a feeling it will be another BFN though, don't know why as can't explain it but just worry my age is against me compared to last time etc :(

Anyway..... Enough moaning and good luck to those of you due to POAS soon, lots of baby dust to us all!
