Sorry Red I typed that last message on my phone and it hadn't updated the messages from last night. you will feel really frustrated and angry at times, that's totally normal as this is such a hormone fuelled process but don't give up hope, it WILL happen!!!

aah red sending you lots of love. it's so hard and I'm a total hypocrite in saying this but we do just have to stay positive.

I am hopeful that sometime karma will kick these people's butts and we will have the perfect family we deserve.

ttc would be so much easier if hormones weren't involved, I think half my problem today is basically pmt. I'm angry and resentful that OH wouldn't let me come off the pill when I wanted and then when he decided it was ok "didn't think it was important to mention" because I'd chosen a wedding dress and he assumed I wouldn't want to be preg in it so I wasted 6 months waiting for him to say yes then 3 month waiting for him to communicate the yes to me. so basically the entire duration of a pregnancy just waiting to get started.

Hi all! I had pains in my left lower abdomen yesterday and had some blood tinged EWCM. Do you think that means I OV-ed yesterday? My OPK yesterday was still positive but a fainter line. The only thing that's confusing me is that my cervix was still firm and closed yesterday.

Oh my gosh I am totally depressed about it today. All I wanted was two children and my husband already has that and I just can't have it. Two miscarriages and now going on to cycle 5 since. I've been trying ever since but now it's just not happening. His sons mother drank and did some drugs when she was pregnant. And she stopped taking the pill and didn't tell him because he didn't want to get married and stuff. I cannot believe how fucking unfair everything is.

Red I totally feel your pain. was forced out with some of OHs boring friends last night who accidentally got preg with a boy then twins and she was in Amsterdam smoking god knows what and drunk and it just happened. so I did what every ttcer who jusy got AF does and got totally shit faced and cried to the husband about how generally unfair life is then cried all the way home in a taxi. am now awake at 5.30 with period pain and a hangover. have I ever mentioned ttc is crap??

So I went to the toilet and have started spotting.... Which I get a couple days before AF. So looks like AF is coming early? I'm most confused by that. I'm only 10dpo. What's going on??? I really just want my baby!!!

Learning lots on this forum, pink grapefruit juice? Will give that a go. First month of using conceive plus so fingers crossed it's worked and if it's worked for Red before it must be effective.

I'm 33 too, only been trying since May. Worth embellishing the truth with your GP as usually you have to try for 12mths before they will investigate I think. Four days in and no symptoms yet...

Yeah I had that - all my periods since the pill (4 now) have been lighter and shorter than on it! more painful for the first day and slightly different symptoms but generally less hassle.

Sorry to hear an bout ur bfn's and af getting u sarah, that's pants. I have a question were any of u on the pill before u started ttc? And if so on ur 1st period off this pill, not this one when you come off the pill but the first true one after that if that makes sense was it v v light? Mine if defo blood and has been here for 3 days but is so light it only just marks a tampon (sorry for tmi) just wondered if other have the same?

I'm out... AF just got me a week early. its not full flow yet but I am sure that's what it is as it's different to my usual spotting. fighting back the tears

haha always happy to share waaay too much info about my bodily functions I too was ready to go to the chemist for something to sort it out, the water wasn't working. Been taking them for months though, not sure why now suddenly I've gone neon?!

lady I don't know how true this is but I read on another post that the reason you don't use FMU for OPK is that it's really concentrated, ie the total opposite of what you want for a HPT. So, your first wee of the day may still have some hromones left in it from last night... so it's possible you did ovulate and the hormones hung around until this morning and that's why the line was so dark?

I think also that they say the signs in your body (EWCM/pains etc) are a better indicator of exactly when you're ovulating rather than the OPK which indicates roughly when it's happening, so if you feel like you had the signs then you probably did.

Sorry to hear about the BFN red FX for 12 DPO. I think your 12 DPO will be my day to test next too... Sunday will be 4 days before AF due. However I've just been to the loo and noticed slightly off colour CM. I wouldn't go so far as to call it spotting but it wasn't pure white like normal so I fear AF may come early and remove the need for a test. Super depressing. I know it sounds dramatic but I was so hoping to be preg before my wedding.

In other news I've been freaked out recently because my wee has been fluoro yellow... just read that it could be the vits. Anyone else have neon wee on pregnacare??

I think it did make my cm seem thinner, but whether that's enough so help the spermies I don't know.... I also used conceive plus. So I shall be most miffed if I'm not pregnant. I worked really hard this time! Didn't try pink grapefruit juice though. Hadn't heard of it. How much do you have to drink?

OK, well that's good to know, thanks redbunny. So have you noticed any difference with the cough medicine? I was drinking pink grapefruit juice and that seemed to be making a difference, then I ran out and DH bought me the yellow one, and have a feeling it's meant to be pink that works! I blame him if I'm not pregnant this month! I'm 33 so yeh, think they will tell me to go away and come back next year! Think I need to just stop panicking. I was doing really well until a couple of days ago. I'm sure 'going mental' is a symptom of ovulation. Anyway, enough about me! Meant to say earlier, don't feel too down about your BFN today, sounds like 12 days is normal for a BFP for you, so defo still lots of hope

Ladyflower my ewcm is always best a couple days before I ovulate which didn't used to matter as I got pregnant three times anyway. As I haven't been getting pregnant since we've tried again this is why I used the cough medicine to try make it watery for longer. Obviously I can't be certain it made any difference yet but....
Maybe you have a long LH surge? I've read it's possible.
Anyway I think I depends on your age as to when you go to the doctor. They usually give you a year of trying if you're under 35 I think? But my doctor said I only had to wait six months as I know I usually conceive right away.

P.P.S and I used FMU (which the instructions say not to do as won't show up then), but it did show up, so why am I even lutenizing early in the morning?!

Sorry to hear you got BFN'd Redbunny. I think that's why it's recommended to test from missed period i.e. 14 DPO (if you're 'normal') so a realistic amount of time for there to be enough HCG. Yeh, I really don't get how it's even possible to get a positive 8 DPO. I think these people must be wrong about when they ovulated, it doesn't seem scientifically possible.
Well I am stressed again today. Noticed last night that EWCM was turning thicker and white (sorry for gross image) and then this morning I tested with OPK and the test line was even darker than yesterday, so I can't even have ov'd yet!! So where has my EWCM gone????!!!!!! Surely the spermies won't be able to swim without it so depressed and fed up. Don't think my bodies working proper. Think next month's purchase is Conceive plus. P.S how long do you have to have been trying for before you can start harassing the doctor?

But I just want to point this out to everyone else cuz I thought I was real expert at this now but didn't even realise- yes hcg is released right away when you implant so you'd think you can test 10dpo as implantation usually happens 6-10dpo but the hcg then shows in blood and then shows in urine tests after that. So how people get positives at 8dpo I don't know!! Maybe they are super fast implanters or maybe they ovulated earlier than they thought.

Yes ok daisysunshine. I feel like I'm not too. I thought maybe I was because of being really tired and strange ewcm yesterday but today I just think I'm out. And I'm just tired because I have a child who won't sleep!!! My last friend who isn't pregnant with no2 or already had no2 is going to start trying soon. I feel like I wanted my next baby first of everyone and am gonna end up with one last!!

RedBunny my friend took until she was 6 weeks pregnancy to get a positive test! Which is a bit insane but it does happen, the hcg just didn't go into her urine very quickly but she had a healthy baby girl so never give up hope until AF arrives... And if she does then to get to use your new toy!
