just had my scan, they couldn't see anything in the womb but there is a mass in my tubes so they think it's ectopic. waiting at the hospital now for blood results and to speak to the doctor.

Pinpan I think you should wait til tomorrow to test.
And when tomorrow comes probably we will tell you to wait til Saturday!! It's possible to get a positive so early but I used to test every day and even with first response I never got a line til 12dpo and it was still very faint. Those first response are expensive. Try save them!!

Happily, think the doc told me I had to have the test at a certain time in my cycle, cants remember exactly what she said but seem to remember something about doing it 3 weeks after my period had started but could be wrong but it is def to check if I'm ovulating, fingers crossed we both are but I think I must be as get the positives on OPK's and have reasonably regular periods so maybe it's something else with me or just not my time to have a no 2 :(

Testing tomorrow as will be 12dpo but still think it's going to be negative, so fed up of this!

I really want to POAS. I think Saturday might be 12 dpo. I might crack. I've got two FRER and I'm not buying any more this cycle, so I could waste one testing early, right? I think it'll be a BFN.

yes Lady and Red and my obsessive googling shows that implantation bleeding occurs 9-12 days after ovulation and mine was 10 days after we DTD so I think that all adds up, the only thing that doesn't is the date on the CB digi but lots of people have said that's not accurate all the time and less so after 6 weeks. I am keeping everything crossed until tomorrow though. I will be so happy to see something that gives me an idea what's happened!!

Hi newbie and red, I had my progesterone test Tuesday, not sure when results are due in. Think this is the same as the 21 day test, had mine at 7dpo so not quite 21 day for me. Hopefully I did it at the right time and it will show if I am ovulating and if my hormone levels are where they should be. X

Yeh Terry it's got to be from the 10th June one. No way could show up on an opk that early. I guess that bleed must have been a breakthrough. Maybe because you'd just stopped the pill. Bet you can't wait for your scan tomorrow to get confirmation. Let us know how it goes x

Terry that does sound like it's from your 10th June DTD.... But sperm can apparently live for up to a week right? So although you DTD on the 10th you could have conceived on like the 16th maybe even?
Ladyflower I start spotting before AF on 10dpo so I'm really hoping it's long enough. It must be though because I've gotten BFPs on 12dpo before and it needs to have implanted for a few days before it'll show in urine test anyhow. We should be ok.

ladyflower a strong line came up immediately when I took my first OPK on the 2nd July which is why I think I must have conceived from DTD on 10 June as I don't see how it could be from the 27th June?!? what do you think?

Newbie what was this progesterone test you had? I'm thinking I need my progesterone checked but didn't know that it'd do much good until I'm actually pregnant? Or was yours the day 21 test for ovulation?

So I'm now 10dpo and don't think this is my month again:( don't know why but just don't so am depressed. Trying not to POAS till Fri but did a cheap internet one today which is supposed to pick up 10 units of HCG and it was negative so not holding out much hope. Got my progesterone checked on Mon by doctor so should get results for that in Fri so hoping I all ok with me but just keep thinking if I got preggars first time before, even tho one ended in MC, why is it different now???

When you first used the OPKs this month, were they positive from the first day you used them, or were they neg to begin with then changed to positive?
Hi Siarie, that chart was interesting. Makes me think most women must get implanted before 10dpo then if most can get a positive wee test at 12dpo. Gives me hope as my luteal phase is only about 10 days, so I need my eggs to be fast!

Or yes like pinpan said your hcg is higher than they set their weeks at. With my first miscarriage I suspected something was wrong because my tests never went up from 2-3 weeks. But at the same time with my daughter who was a successful pregnancy it only said 1-2 weeks when I was meant to get 3+.

Terry I have read before that midwives don't really like those clearblue digital conception indicator things because they can make people worry unnecessarily. It's entirely possible it is from your 10th June DTD. If you google the range your hcg can be at that many weeks and compare it to the range of hcg clearblue test for for each week you will understand why it can be misleading.

Terry, could be just that you have an awesome hcg rate and a 27 June conception is just more powerful than the average value that the digi test will be working off. Fingers crossed!

Meanwhile, my face is less red today and I feel crampy like AF is due, but it shouldn't be along for at least 4 days (and that my minimum good grief I can't possibly drop to an even shorter cycle estimate). Could just be that my newly washed jeans were too tight though!

that's the problem with pregnancy symptoms right, they're usually the same as AF ones!

I have an appointment at the Early Pregnancy Unit tomorrow so fingers crossed for some answers. The CB digi test tells me 2-3 weeks (post conception) which is mathematically impossible unless it's immaculate conception (DTD on 10 June and then not until 27 June... we've been married 7 years ) so I'm worried I've either had a MC, an ectopic or its not developing properly. Has anyone got anything else depressing I've left off the list/couldn't find on Google

Congrats Terry! Hope this positive news is a hood omen for the rest of us..! Been for my blood test to check ovulation today, fingers crossed they can detect good hormone levels.

In the meantime, I am about 7dpo today, holding off poas until sat 12th (day before AF due). Aahhh! No symptoms except slight back ache which usually means AF is on the way sigh
