Welcome RedBunny. FX that number 2 comes along soon.

CatRen - POAS Anonymous, love it! I was trying to think of a name for the support group too, and that's perfect. "My name is pinpan, and it's been at least 4 days since I POAS. This month I first wanted to POAS about 5 minutes after DTD when at best fertilization might occur in the following 24 hours. (I didn't, btw.)" Grin

CatRen27 · 04/06/2014 10:01

(sorry to hear about the miscarriages RedBunny - hope things look up soon)

CatRen27 · 04/06/2014 09:55

This is like POAS-Anonymous - we must support each other not to test too early and be disappointed! Spotting symptoms all over the shop. Husband abroad with work at the moment so no one to share it with but you guys!

RedBunny · 04/06/2014 09:26

Can I join in too? I'm obsessively symptom spotting and feel so silly for doing it! I've had two miscarriages since been ttc no2. This is my third 2ww since last mc and I'm already getting fed up of them! It's so hard to stop from testing all the time! I believe today is 7dpo. I think I shall try test at the weekend with frer. I usually don't get positives til 12dpo though... Too impatient I guess.

ladyflower23 · 04/06/2014 08:10

Maybe you ov'd earlier than you thought you did Emma, or maybe you are a really fast implanter! I think I've heard that it's rare, but possible at 3dpo.
I randomly had some more EWCM last night! I pounced on DH just in case, but really hope I did ov at the weekend, otherwise the interminable 2ww is starting again for me. Agh!

Emma1109 · 04/06/2014 07:57

Aww thanks for that wee diagram zoobaby. It kind of makes sense a bit better. This is all very new to me. I'm a wee bit gutted though I thought there was maybe a wee chance of implantation bleeding 2/3 days after ov. Know I shouldn't get my hopes up but can't help it s2bdh has been super broody for a good year and I've been putting it off because of the wedding. I honestly don't think I can wait til 14th or 15th ?? seriously how perfect would it be to be able to tell him BFP on Father's Day?!

pinpan · 04/06/2014 00:32

Good diagram! And yes, it's just cruel that we have to wait so long. I WILL not test before 20th. I WILL not test before 20th. Hmm Actually, might wait til 21st (if I can), I have a work thing on the 20th and I'd rather still be in suspense than either down in the dumps or away with the fairies (depending on results). Argh, too long. Come on somebody, fall off the wagon and do some POASing for me. Grin

ladyflower23 · 03/06/2014 22:24

That was meant to say zoobaby not solvent!

ladyflower23 · 03/06/2014 22:24

Thanks for diagram solvent that was really interesting. Was excited to see what stage I could potentially be at. Shame the little things can't travel a bit faster Smile

zoobaby · 03/06/2014 21:45

Just saw a little diagram about the 2ww which answers Emma's earlier question.

zoobaby · 03/06/2014 21:25

I'm the opposite Cat... I refuse to buy myself OPK as convincing myself that I won't need it.

zoobaby · 03/06/2014 21:20

For all those holding themselves back from the pharmacy for fear of poas, did you know you can get cheap ones from Amazon?

Been cramping today so I fluctuate between thinking this has never happened before to of course it must have happened before you numpty, you're just conveniently forgetting.

CatRen27 · 03/06/2014 14:48

Thanks Karmanna that's really helpful! I've got an OPK winging its way to me in the post. Also can't wait until we all start testing!

Karmanna13 · 03/06/2014 14:42

Oh, and welcome Newbie! I was lurking on the 2ww thread last month - fx for this cycle! :)

Karmanna13 · 03/06/2014 14:41

Thanks birdtable. Yes it was quite stressful but it's a couple of years ago now so it's getting better. And I have heard lots of "one-tubers" with success stories so I am determined to stay positive! :)

CatRen, I have quite regular cycles so I normally test on CD10 and get a negative, then a borderline on CD11, and a positive on CD12 (which was yesterday) so I try and DTD from CD10 and then every other day for about a week. When we ttc DS I had no clue about this and we were at it non stop for about 9 months - exhausting! So much easier to be able to pinpoint it! :)

ladyflower23 · 03/06/2014 14:30

Hi newbie. Ooh there's quite a few of us on here on cycle 2 of ttc#2. Good luck to you. I'm really bored waiting already and still over a week till AF due. Can't wait for people to start testing!!

newbie6 · 03/06/2014 13:22

Whoops! That should say so want a BFP!!

newbie6 · 03/06/2014 13:22

Hi all

Can I join you? I'm on month 2 of TTC no 2. Am 5dpo and think Saturday is the earliest I can test with a FRER. Have no patience at all and so want a BFN, am using clearblue fertility sticks and got a smiley face on Thurs and Fri last week so DTD both nights, fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!

X

CatRen27 · 03/06/2014 13:10

I'm not letting myself anywhere near a pharmacy for that very reason - no self control! Working from home today which means getting very distracted on here...

GandTnow · 03/06/2014 13:04

Bought some tests today to be ready - I feel this may have been a mistake..... to tempting. No real symptoms - keep having a harsh word with myself saying, you sometimes feel sick this time of the month anyway, your boobs are sometimes tender now as well.

Not sure how long I'll last before poas!

CatRen27 · 03/06/2014 12:43

Today and yesterday was feeling sick and dizzy, and woke up with a hangover minus the booze this morning, but pretty sure it's a bit early to be seeing signs - driving myself bonkers!

On the OPK - Karmanna13 how often do you use it and when?

Birdtable · 03/06/2014 12:40

Hi Cat and karman! Yes let's hope this does bring us luck! This is my 1st month of using opk so I am hopeful that it will make it easier!
Is everyone having a good day? It's raining here and all I can think about is "oh, does that (whatever yummy flutter etc) mean I'm pregnant???"
Sorry to hear about your ectopic Karman, that must have been stressful.

Karmanna13 · 03/06/2014 12:14

Hello, can I join please? On cycle 2 of ttc #2. DS is 2,5 years old. I had an ectopic 4 months after he was born so lost a tube but still feeling hopeful! It took 9 months to conceive DS and on cycle 9 I started using OPK's and got pg straight away so I do swear by them! :)

I got a positive OPK today, DTD last night and might do again tonight and tomorrow or day after just to cover all bases. Hope this thread brings us all luck and BFPs!

CatRen27 · 03/06/2014 11:45

I'm also gate crashing this one - been TTC since March and with super irregular cycles (28-38 days.. argh!) its a bit of a nightmare to map out where I am. Anyway, think I got the timing right and AF is due on 14 June too. Fingers crossed ladies!

pinpan · 03/06/2014 11:12

Hooray! Grin
