I buy first response from eBay. They are my favourite tests and you can get a pack of two for like £7. I am going to POAS tomorrow. I am allowed by the rules of this thread as I will be 12dpo AND even more interesting is the last three times I got BFPs they were all on 12dpo!!! So there you go. Tomorrow's test should for sure be my answer. I'm getting a little nervous..!!! Who else is testing tomorrow? Fruityb?

That's good to know, Hibou. Mine were from Amazon, vv cheap but then they are the little cardboard strips! It's hard to imagine them being accurate, even though they're supposedly super sensitive

I just got some off ebay, they aren't the tiny little piece of card ones - they look like pg tests, was 5 for 2.99!

Ooh Hibou you should test on Fathers Day! I think the problem with testing early is that if it's negative you still think to yourself "Well I MIGHT be pregnant" so unless its an early BFP it just causes stress!

Hmm, I've just sat down to relax in my newly cleaned/hoovered living room and decided that it smells horrible and musty So clearly I have a heightened sense of smell... Not getting my hopes up though!

Oohh right sorry, that probably isn't just random spotting then if it was a year ago! Might still be an IB...

What pill was it? When I came off the combined pill I either had regular periods straightaway or got pregnant straight away (the once). When I came off the POP pill I did have random spotting. Good luck either way though, when will you test?

Came off pill in June, i think I'm 7dpo. Usually ov on cd21-22. My cycles are long, but regular 38/39 days!

Could you actually be ovulating?
Do you have irregular cycles?

If no, no and no and it tails off then it could be an implantation bleed! I got my BFP 6 days after mine though (not this time; this was back in 2012!).

It was a tiny amount, I read somewhere it's normally pinkish but that it could be brown because it might take it a little while to leave ur body. This has massively gotten my hopes up now... Eeek. Need to try to stay realistic!

Ooh it could be! Mine started off pale pink then turned to brown. Exciting!

af not due til the 18th.. I'm 7dpo and just wiped and had a tiny bit of brown blood - looked a bit like when ur period is finishing. is this spotting?! never had it before!

Thanks guys! I've just fished out the diary I kept whilst ttc-ing DD2 and it turns out I cried a lot during the week before I got a BFP so you never know... But I still feel PMT-ish - currently going through the "I hate DP" stage and everything he's doing is winding me up. Sigh.

I would think paracetamol would be fine? As you can take it in pregnancy. Fwiw, as DD1 was a complete surprise I was drinking endless cans of Relentless energy drink (worked a night job) and also taking shitloads of Ibuprofen for recurrent cystitis during what was technically my two week wait. And she's been speaking in little sentences since she was 16 months still hasn't mastered toilet training though

Today I've been getting the house in order and tomorrow have the exciting task of buying a new laundry basket after baby group. Bring on the testing!!

Rose, my AF is due Thursday, but I am planning on holding out till Sunday to take test. Realistically, that is not realistic with my low patience threshold, so will probably be Friday that I test if no AF. I tested early last month then got AF next day and got really annoyed with myself, so REFUSE to test early this month (although I did get very tempted earlier and actually held my Boots test in my hand, but forced myself to put it back in the drawer unpeed on (helps to picture pinpan's response)).
Blanks, I thought I had UTI last month, turns out i didn't, but nurse told me OK to take Paracetamol when TTC, but not Ibuprofen.
Well I am going to get the paddling pool out for DS when he's up from his nap and do some weeding. Hopefully manual labour will keep me away from the stick.

No AF and no sticks as yet. I feel poorly today and did yesterday. It's only one day late and that's not out of the ordinary, but by the same token there's a twinge of excitement brewing!

Think I'm having slight cramps but then I don't know if I just think I am. Had the most bonkers dreams the last couple of nights as well.

Well I'm in bed with a throat infection. Glands are like golf balls. I'm afraid to take anything incase something is going on down there! I've read that you're not supposed to take any painkillers. Is this true does anyone know?
