I too hate the unsexiness of dtd to a timetable, makes it so much more stressful! I'm still having a brownish tint when I wipe now and and again, still hoping it's spotting/implantation because I've never had this before, I'm 8dpo (I think) now.

I stopped taking Cerazette (Pill of doom) on March 7th, had my first AF on May 12th so a long old wait! We have been ttc ever since, but it's been a nightmare waiting for my poor sleepy ovaries to do anything. We said we'd give it 6 months, and then if nothing happens we'll hold off and book our wedding instead for next year, and then try again after. OH thinks I am mad, I'm convinced I'm going to end up with shrivelled tubes or something, which is why I wanted to give it a go sooner rather than later. Babymaking makes me irrational!!

Me too Teejayem, on both counts! So new to all of this. How long have you been TTC for? I'm on cycle 3 since I had the coil removed, but had no idea what I was doing until last month.

Friday will be 28 days since my withdrawal bleed started so I'm counting that as my testing today (if I don't bleed before then). I was hoping to wait until next Monday at least, but going out for a friends's birthday on Saturday and there will be lots of alcohol so I need to know! I don't think I'm pregnant though; I've been crying again today very PMT-ish...

I'm game for Friday! My plan was the same - cheapish one to start and then the expensive one to follow it.......Also DH is away with work nearly all week, and would be cross if I tested without him.

That sounds like a Big Fat Plan!!

I'm going to use my Boots one and then if I am very lucky and it comes up positive I will prob go out and treat myself to a fancy digi one to back it up with on Saturday.
Shall we try and hold out all the way to Fri? If it's positive we then have the whole weekend to be excited/in shock and if negative we can immediately open wine and not worry about going to work with a hangover

So happy it's not just me in POAS limbo. I wasted so much money on wee sticks after coming off the pill in March! May was my first AF since then, so how long my cycle is, is anyone's guess. I have a superdrug early one and a CB digital. So what are we saying, Thursday or Friday? I don't feel especially pre-menstrual, just the really sore nips and the odd wave of nausea/bad tummy.

Well at least that will be the only consolation of a BFN is a few !! Are you testing with your boots test or a fancier one?!

It does help not to test when you are in a pact with someone else!
I'm around 30/31 days so testing Fri night is on the line, but on the other hand, I will be wanting a big fat glass of wine!!

Ok, this is the support group working at its best! My cycle tends to be between 25 and 28 days. So expecting it any day. I had been feeling quite symptomatic but not today which is making me doubt things now. How long are your cycles?

Snap Blanks, also due Thursday and also have a Boots test on the premises. Yes, let's try and hold out together. I really want to try and make it until Friday night at least!

I know, I also said that I would wait till Sunday but sugar that idea. AF is due on Thursday. If I can last until then, I'll be thrilled! I have a boots test a mere 2 meters from me at the moment. I'm also off work sick until Wednesday so that is putting extra temptation in my way!! So teejayem and ladyflower, let's stay strong together!! Just think of the darker second line if we leave it!! teejayem, I feel you sister, sounds as though we are in the same boat. I had cramping and EWCM on the 29th, so thought I was oving, but then had another 2 days of EWCM then one day of not, then another 3 days of EWCM. I too now have the nips, queasiness, dodgy stomach (but wonder if that's down to nerves!). Really hard not to test when you potentially fall into the 'test 4 days early' zone and are getting feelings like you might be. Last week I was saying I wouldn't test till Sunday, now I am struggling to make it through today - said like a true addict!

I'm in a right old mix, because I 'felt' like I was Ov'ing on 30th May, (had the pain and the ewcm) that makes me 11DPO, but according to my CB wee stick, it was Monday! (and I had a pain the other side and a bit of ewcm) Which makes me 7 dpo. My nips hurt and I've felt a bit queasy with an upset stomach. I am trying to summon the willpower to wait until at least Wednesday, but my App is saying I should expect AF by then, but I'd be amazed if I fell into a normal 28 dayer.

I don't really know this month - it's been confusing on the EWCM front - best case scenario is 11 DPO and I know that I would be breaking the 12DPO rule of this thread, and rationally i should wait until at least Friday, but on the other hand I want to KNOW NOW! I will go and put washing away instead. Work days are so much easier in the 2ww, distracted and no bloody tests around!

Lady I think you should get the calculator out first. How many days past ov are you? If only 3 til AF due, then possibly only 11 DPO? Save yourself £8. Or 10p if you bought the internet cheapies.

Today is my first day of SYMPTOMS this cycle. They consist of soreish nipples, nausea and slight dizziness. These could all be onset of AF due Thurs or of course pregnancy. The fact that I am now feeling like this and it is only 3 days until I do/do not get AF, I am of course wanting desperately to POAS. Please can someone talk me out of it!!!!

Yes, so Dr Internet says that a normal Luteal Phase is 12-14 days long. But... honestly... who on this thread would count themselves as "normal" though?

I can't speak for anyone else, but after having DS I can honestly say that EVERYTHING is different. Cycle timings, feelings, AF type and length, absolutely everything. First time round I faithfully charted and this involved visual inspections (and this is different too these days).

Then you have the ladies who have also had MCs. Surely that screws around with your body a fair bit.

So, is it any wonder a lot of us are working on educated guesses?

We shouldn't be hard on ourselves for getting our hopes up or for feeling disappointment.

I've decided that if I'm not PG then I'm about to fall down sick. Had awful headache and hot flushing last night and woke this morning to discover TWO cold sores starting (I admit I look a right mess).
