I've only ever seen one evap line and that was on a FRER test after a couple of days (yes I kept it and kept checking Blush) but not sure how long it takes for them to show up on other tests. It could be BFP though it you've been DTD since 31/5 so will keep fingers crossed for you Smile
Welcome Tezza. Ha ha don't worry we are the official support group for POAS addicts, we will try and save you from yourself!

AngelsInWinter · 10/06/2014 20:45

Janey - mmm, Ben and jerrys! Which flavour did you have? I ordered some phish food from Asda and they substituted it with cookie dough Hmm

AngelsInWinter · 10/06/2014 20:44

Tezza - thank you :) not feeling too hopeful really as I only finished the pill mid may...

Newbie I always eat for Britain!

JaneyTea · 10/06/2014 20:37

teejayem, yes, I'll be joining the party on Friday, if af hasn't arrived, (judging by the Ben and Jerry's I just ate, I suspect she is).

Still have the cramping pains that started on Sunday night, which I don't think is usually for me. I wish I'd paid more attention to my pre-af symptoms before we started this whole thing!

newbie6 · 10/06/2014 20:22

Fruityb, what's stopping you testing???? God, you have willpower! Sounds like you may well get a BFP, lucky lady! Good luck!

I'm eating for Britain which is another sure sign my AF is coming, due on Friday. Know this sounds stupid but really worried I won't get pregnant, know it's only out 2nd mth trying but am nearly 39 now and can't get the fact that I got pregnant first time with my last 2 pregnancies even though one ended in MC at 6 weeks, we're doing everything the same as well :(

Fingers crossed it happens next month as fully expect AF to show on Fri.

Good luck lovely ladies! X

tezza1989xx · 10/06/2014 20:11

Claire hiii :) lol I done the same last month kinda but i used 10 tests from 1dpo knowing full well I would never in a million years get a positive so soon haha.. silly me. So I'm not going to buy any to stop any temptation. How long have u been trying for? Xx
hi angel :) Aww good luck.. r u feeling hopeful about it? Xx

AngelsInWinter · 10/06/2014 19:54

Hey tezza :) I'm testing Saturday xx

ClaireF2013 · 10/06/2014 19:53

Hi Tezza, I am new, too!! I shouldn't really be testing before 20th June, earliest, but I couldn't help myself and tested early, haha! I do have irregular periods, though-so anything is possible...! xx

tezza1989xx · 10/06/2014 19:42

HI and gold luck all. I'm new to this site.. this us only my 3rd month trying.. due on Friday ( I won't test till if I'm late) lol once I start I can't stop ha. When r u all testing...? Good luck xx

ClaireF2013 · 10/06/2014 19:29

Yeah, that is what I thought, Ladyflower, it is hard to tell-I've never seen these tests give false positives/evap lines, though (normally neg stays neg after 10minutes). Not too excited, as even if it is an attempted implantation, doesn't mean it will actually "take", so may still get that visit from Aunt Flow!

ladyflower23 · 10/06/2014 19:01

Glad you are feeling better blanks and POAS Annon will definitely continue until we have all moved over to the Pregnancy Forum!
Fruity you are officially the strongest willed person I have every 'met'. You might as well join Friday's party now?! I will be v.shocked if there is not a bun in your oven.
Claire Not sure if those lines might have been evap lines. I would wait a few days and test again with first morning wee Smile

ClaireF2013 · 10/06/2014 18:42

Whoops, should say we first DTD 31/05 this cycle.

ClaireF2013 · 10/06/2014 18:37

I had an odd experience yesterday! I felt "funny"-my boobs kept getting a weird tickling/light pain and I had been very lightheaded (but put this down to the heat). I don't know what made me test, as it is far too early (LMP was 18/05, period is not due until around 18th-27th June, I am irregular). But, I did. 4 minutes later and there was nothing, but left it on the side as I was putting my makeup on, and when I next turned around (so within 10minutes of peeing on it), I got a faint positive. Did another one, and the same thing happened within 10minutes. These were not blue tests, but pink ones, and not overly sensitive tests. However, I then went to work and checked twice more and these were negative (but then I had been drinking more water) We last "did the deed" on May 31st, so I guess it is possible!? Will have to re-check in a couple of weeks-maybe implantation??

CatRen27 · 10/06/2014 17:58

lady I had to explain the whole process last night to DH as he was asking why on earth the test doesn't show up once you're PG and why you have to wait (impatient!). I'm not sure he was entirely convinced.

Working from home tomorrow, which always spells disaster when there is anything to be distracted with. Eek! I'll need you all to keep me away from all sticks!

Glad you're feeling better blank - ladies are so very awesome at the old moral support. Hope we stay on this thread until we have a 100% hit rate!

AngelsInWinter · 10/06/2014 17:45

Lady keep us updated! I rarely get ewcm. Never noticed any the three times I did conceive Confused

AngelsInWinter · 10/06/2014 17:44

Home birth amazing ... Being in your own home is a great painkiller! Not that you'll get any sleep, Ladyflower. I stayed awake all night (DD born about 10:20pm) just amazed at what I'd done!
Blank's right, this is the best thread. Today I took the girls (3 and 1) to a museum while DP did his theory test... He passed!! So I'm going to be naughty and have some nasty Asti tonight. Because suuuurely I won't be pregnant this soon after stopping the pill. Even though I was last time...

Fruity honestly! You're a stronger woman than me!

blankfornames · 10/06/2014 17:37

Thanks so much ladies. Feel ooodles better than I did earlier! This thread ROCKS!! Thanks

Fair play Fruity! Don't be saying sorry! Do it when you feel that you're both ready for the outcome. Enjoy the run up however frustrating it is!

teejayem · 10/06/2014 17:15

fruity you have nerves of Steel!!!!! I'd be weeing willy-nilly by now.....

Fruityb · 10/06/2014 16:33

Four days late now, not POAS yet. Told OH who seems to also be trying to be level headed about it yet. Might wait till the weekend, sorry!

The longest cycle I've had before is 27 days, since October and coming off the pill. I'm not on day 30 which makes me 4 days later than expected... My boobs are very sore, I'm knackered but no change there lol and the cramps I've been having appear to have tailed off.

It's killing me lol

teejayem · 10/06/2014 16:19

blanks let's be strong! I am struggling with the wait as well today, I'm rapidly feeling AF is looming now too. And every single person on my tube this morning had a nice designer bump. Huff. Three apps are giving me different dates and my CM has totally buggered off.

Welcome Janey are you joining our pee-party on Friday? This is such an amazing outlet when I can't talk to OH and descend in my slightly neurotic self! x

JaneyTea · 10/06/2014 15:45

Thank you for the lovely welcomes - it's a relief to know that I'm not the only one driving myself bonkers with this at the moment! I'm trying to keep myself busy at work, although this afternoon I have wanted to eat and eat and eat, which for me, is an indicator that AF is on the way. I think that would almost be a relief - the not knowing is infuritating. My chap's suggestion of "just don't think about it" is so much easier said than done- interesting that you were talking about whether lads would be more patient with the TWW. I suppose that as they can't symptom spot, etc, they are that wee bit more removed.

ladyflower23 · 10/06/2014 15:31

Oh no. Ewcm. Always get some just before af starts. I think it may be over for me early!

ladyflower23 · 10/06/2014 14:44

I'm having fun doing housework now and then a trip to the park later. Feeling bit ill today so trying not to overwork myself too much to try and keep whatever is lurking at bay!
I guess because they don't have the baby in their body it is quicker for them to recover. I said to my DH last night that I wanted him to hide my Boots test from me until Friday evening and then he started going 'so you can do those tests early then? So we could do it now?!' So don't think they are that much more patient than us!

blankfornames · 10/06/2014 14:34

Thanks Lady. You're so right. He's gone back to work and I've had time to cool down. I shouldn't react that like but sometimes I feel like he has put the whole mc down as something that has happened in the past, whereas for us girlies, it's a lot harder!
I'd love to know, if the lads had to do the tww, how long they would have lasted before POAS! Wink
Thanks again!

Birdtable · 10/06/2014 14:33

I agree with ladyflower - I have tested and got a bfn and it's awful as you don't believe it so are non the wiser! I'm waiting till Sunday!
I am feeling positive though as even if we don't get our bfp we now all have each other for support!
What's everyone doing this lovely day?
