When your will power runs out! But 12 dpo (days past ovulation) is when we try to make each other hold out til, coz you have a better chance of getting a positive by then (that'd be an average of a day or two before AF is due). But we salute you if you can wait until you are properly overdue!

Next cycle I am NOT testing until 14th August, which will be CD28, which should take care of my stupid irregular and short cycles (26, 23, 24 then 27 for the last four of them). Hold me to that!

One stupid question if you don't mind -how soon can you test? Is it after you are overdue, or a certain number of days after when you think you ovulated? Or just when your willpower runs out?!

Hugs to you red, it's tough. Although I've never had a mc I have experienced loss. It creeps up on me unexpectedly sometimes too, not so much as it used to.

I'm not using opks yet this is only cycle 2 so we shall wait and see how this one goes first.

I really need to get pregnant again soon. It's so hard, I've seen so many bumps lately and all I can think is "I'm supposed to have a bump too" I was meant to be having a baby beginning of September. Ugh I think I'm ok and all of a sudden something reminds me and I feel utterly depressed again.

Well this morning's opk was not positive but test line is still quite dark like in build up to lh surge so not sure what's going on. Maybe I just naturally have high amounts of lh before af. Got lots of cramps this morning so feel like af coming now. Was an interesting experiment anyway!

I have ordered a Clearblue HPT to come with my shopping tomorrow, and I am going to hold out until Thursday to test (which will be 12dpo) with FMU. In the meantime I will resist the packet of OPKS on top of my bathroom cabinet (so expect an update when I pee on another one tomorrow morning )

Got a positive on the OPK this morning (I ov really really early in my cycle, cd 9 for me) so have been busy being nice to OH since AF ended in the hope that DTD will come naturally instead of him throwing a tantrum about being under pressure like last month! Managed to DTD Sunday morning and last night so far, and it's wedding rehearsal tonight so surely that demands a test run of the wedding night?? And then I'm going to try and get another one in tmrw night and Thursday morning before the parents/in laws arrive then again on Friday (wedding night!)so I think we could be well covered off this month if all goes to plan.

AF due when I'm on honeymoon but I've pretty much decided not to take a test with me and just relax and enjoy myself. And if it does arrive I ov so early that I should ov again before we come back.

pinpan I have started getting short cycles too, they used to be 28 days to practically the minute even when I came off the pill but the last 3 have been 25 days. I am hoping that maybe I was readjusting to life without the pill because I had 4 quite light, 4 day periods and the last one was heavy and painful and clotty and long (gross - sorry). So maybe that was a good riddance to the remaining hormones and my body is ready to get down to business now??

I know some people can have LH surges AF random times. But maaaaaybe you're pregnant. You should do a test if you think so. I've read that if you get a positive opk it will be after you're able to get a positive hpt.

Cold slightly better though not helped by no-nap-DD today. AF still only an occasional and faint smudge of pink but I can feel its claws digging in properly now so I think that's that.

Right so I've been really really naughty and just pee'd on an opk and it was positive! Would this be too early to pick up hcg? And does anyone know if its normal to have another surge when period due?

Well I'm 10 dpo today and af due between today and Thursday. I am getting very strong urges to POAS which I know is crazy behaviour and will only lead to disappointment. No hpts in the house so just have to avoid THAT aisle in the supermarket for as long as possible.

Hi guys just checking in. Bad news: AF arrived today so I'm officially out this month. Good news: results of my progesterone test with doc which confirms I am ovulating. Every cloud... Having never been pregnant i am just very anxious to know that I CAN get pregnant.
