Tww starts tomorrow!

Took a test this morning - BFN. It wasn't a surprise, but I still couldn't surpress a little bit of hope. I've been feeling awful these past few days, so hoping AF is on her way and that this overwhelming tiredness goes away.

Apparently it was World Gin Day yesterday - I didn't have any just in case. Might have to catch up today....mmmm gin.....

Booo. It arrived about 15 mins after doing my opk test. FuNny as it was very dark compared to usual other than obviously ovulation. I didn't want to start doing pt till I've missed af for at least 5days lol. Good luck all .. I've told my bf that he has to try harder next month lol. But I'm not going to use anything ovulation sticks etc and just try to relax this time. 4th cycle now.. how is this so hard. Lol. How can people go out have a one night stand and fall pregnant. :/ xx

Claire... No, my DP was definitely NOT like that! But he still managed to upduff me practically by looking at me, so I shouldn't complain!

Yesterday was brill, gorgeous food and copious amounts of drink. Only downside is how sick I'm currently feeling as I need to pull myself together for Fathers' Day!

Still no AF but I've given up the testing for now.

I wondered that too Ladyflower. I wanted to start testing in the afternoon too when I get high fertility. But I can't find any anywhere. Annoying!!! Last few times I've felt my ovulation in the morning. So I want to DTD in the morning. But I need to know when to cuz I can't be doing it every morning incase that's the one!

Hi Claire, I also also did that online pregnancy test this week! It gave you hope and retracted it again all in the one sentence!

Hi newbie, glad you can now get focused on next time. I'm still waiting for mine. The flame of hope is trying to reignite again today, but know realistically the chances of a late BFP are very slim.
Soooo I bought a Clearblue Advanced Dual Hormone OPK first cycle and used up most of sticks and did not use this cycle. Does anyone know if can purchase more sticks for the holder or do I have to purchase the whole contraption again?

Ah Claire your other half sounds really lovely and supportive. Mine is really into the idea of a second one (but more patient than me!). He has said he is going to get healthier to try and make it happen. Guess that means I should to!

That is hilarious!!! To be honest, it is more times when I see someone selling immaculate baby stuff on Facebook, that I think "maybe I could get that and keep it? It is a steal!" I have to stop myself!!

Open a secret pinterest account and just pin everything you think you want! Then you can go back and buy the things that you actually want/need closer to the time. Plus you can go and gloat over the pictures of tiny baby things when you feel extra broody.

It is lovely to see him like this, I have always known he loves children, but it's all coming out now!! I am very broody, but I do get moments of fear-I guess that is normal! We don't have any children yet, and I have never been pregnant before, so really don't know what to expect. I'm very impatient, dying to get pregnant quickly, but occasionally have the odd thought of "what if I am horrendously ill with the pregnancy/miscarry/have an awful labour", but I guess if my husband had to go through it, he would be scared, too! I guess that is the same with you, pinpan, obviously they do help, but for the majority of the time, it is the mother getting up and doing the feeds, left exhausted etc.

It is really hard to not get carried away and start buying things-I don't want to be one of these couples that has everything but the baby, or to tempt fate by over-preparing, but it is so hard!!

Awww, that's lovely Claire! I think my DH is keener on #2 than I am (I'm only put off because #1 was/is an epic non-sleeper and I remember how awful I felt when I was that tired - I'd like to get them when they're 18 months old and starting to talk properly, if only you could still have the relationship that you only get by doing the hard yards at the beginning), and he's a great Daddy. Heart warming stuff.

I just did a hilarious online pregnancy test (yes!). It basically said, "ooh yes, that answer can be associated with being pregnant, or not," and then got to the end and just said "if you think you are pregnant, you should POAS." Helpful! I thought it would at least say, "well you might be pregnant, and you should POAS next week if AF doesn't come."

Anyone else's husbands mega broody? Mine has turned into a real sweetie, he was before, anyway! But he is suddenly all for baby books, ovulation monitors and he has even been number crunching and said if I want to take time off work beyond maternity leave, that he will be able to support the same lifestyle we are having now. It is lovely to see! He has also joined a gym (he hates gyms!) and is taking his preconception vitamins and has put himself on a diet...! He is based elsewhere for work (comes home for a few days at a time when he isn't working), so is showing tons of determination without me even being there to influence him. It's so nice to see!! :D

Thanks birdtablw. Yes am still feeling disappointed but trying to keep in perspective that it's still early days and I just need to be more patient! I also hate not being in control so just hate not knowing what's going on! I have a horrible feeling I ovulated late and that's why af not here and I missed the egg coz I didn't keep the shagging going long enoug. Just want AF to get here so I can focus on next month. Agh!!!!!! Enjoy your party tonight angels. I think it'll be red wine and football for me. Am not really into it but no doubt dh will have it on the tv constantly for the next month. Will probably hamper my chances for next month as well!!

Teejayem - not sure, as I came off the pill in may. If I was still on the pill I'd have come on today. But I got a BFN today, so god knows :( hate waiting for anything, also love to be in control so this is a nightmare!! Wish our other halves understood...

Yeh I'm glad I waited till af due as I believe the result! Glad poas now up and running for our next go and sending positive vibes to the rest of the chicks in with a chance this time x

Next month I'm waiting past my AF date like I did this month. I don't think testing before AF is supposed to come would do my sanity any good lol. Waiting till late and then seeing what happens.

I've ordered the advanced clearblue digital OPK's which apparently give you your 4 fertile days and can tell you, your 2 peak fertility days so with them plus my new found knowledge of DTD every other day of your 6 fertile days, I'm hoping and praying it will work! Xx

Well I am currently drinking a beer which usually is a good thing but not tonight. Had a small amount of condolence from dh and now he's watching football. Opks at the ready for next time. Stupid af better hurry up and start now!

No idea, didn't have sore boobs before my belated surprise AF, but used to get em pre pill AF, which was a looooong (like 10 years) time ago. Kind of bummed, I told OH that the peestick said nay, and he looked a bit meh and went off and played his drums. Hmmph. Decided that if I don't get visited, and my 10 dpo app estimate is right, then I'm going to splurge wee on the digi on Wednesday. not wasting it any earlier! When's supposed AF for you angels? Have all my finger crossed for you. X

I knew the second I woke up AF was coming. You can just tell can't you.

Cried enough today and had much love from the OH who has been awesome. It's just such a kick in the ass after a week of thinking maybe just maybe this time is it.

Onwards we go next month it is, and not sure I can rely on my calendar this time lol.
