I'm on cd 40 - BFNs all over the shop, still no AF, and no sign for it to appear any time soon. Why is she messing with me?! Looks like I completely misjudged (and therefore missed) my OV date by a mile, so think once AF has come and gone I think I'll need to just shag every 2 days and get on with it. Bored of this limbo and want to get moving!

Thank you, ladies!!! I am in disbelief, as we would have only had sex twice around my vaguely fertile period (according to my phone app!) and I am irregular, so I thought it would take ages. I have done six tests now (2 Superdrug, 3 cheapie sticks, and one cassette test!) and all have been a faint positive, so I guess I have an excuse to have a look at baby stuff now :) it goes to show that it isn't necessarily about having loads of sex and charting etc, sometimes it can just be luck??

Well, I hope it is a BFP! I can't believe it!!! I will have to check tomorrow in the morning to see if the line gets stronger.

Yes, it is pink!! Currently performing another three tests with different sticks LOL! My husband is away until Sunday, so will surprise him with a positive stick (or three, or five...). I am in disbelief!!!

Looks like a positive to me.... Is the line pink? If it is the right colour it is meant to not be an evap line. In which case congratulations!!

I don't really know how many days post ovulation I am, possibly 11?! My cycles are irregular and I didn't have a monitor when we first started trying.

My legs have been really achey for the last few days, very tender breasts in the morning, peeing more. Couldn't help my POAS urges this morning and used two cheapy sticks-both a very faint positive after about 6mins (pic of one included), then I thought "is this time to break out a Superdrug test!?" annnnnd....well, take a look! It changed within 2 minutes to two lines. Does it look positive to you guys?? I'm being really thick as I am a nurse and do pregnancy tests every day, but somehow I need confirmation for my own!?

I've think they will work for the lh surge if you use them midcycle, but won't detect your high fertile days before the lh surge because they won't have the baseline to measure your rising estrogen. That's just Ladyflower amateur science talk though. I have seen other women on here doing this though, so I am assuming it is OK to do that. I will let you know how I get on!
Wow Redbunny, you and your husband sound like a right pair of goers! Mine would literally die of exhaustion if he had to do it once a day!!

AF has arrived for me too which although was a but disappointing as if secretly hoped it would just happen, even though we weren't really trying (aka not enough DTD!) I'm pleased that I read my body quite well and predicted it was due about now. Now for a seduction plan

Ladyflower should your digi sticks work mid cycle? I thought the way they worked was to detect when your hormones rise? So they need to be measured from earlier on to pick that up? Maybe I'm wrong, id just hate for you to waste them because they're expensive! I am I guess quite fortunate in that whenever I tell my husband to DTD he will! Honestly he doesn't like that I'm saying only every other day for now!
Newbie, get on top of him and then flip over onto your back and legs up right after!! Use some conceive plus or pre seed too!
Maybe I'm just too demanding of my husband the kind of advice I give....!

Sorry to hear you got AF 1moretime. It must be really hard on you to have such long cycles. Have you got any medication or anything from the doc to try and regulate them?
Redbunny, I am wary of the IC OPKs, I have a horrible feeling they are going to make me more stressed than ever, but DH has said that he will not have the energy to DTD with me ever other day for my entire cycle! And TBH I don't think I can summon up that much libido either! I still have a few sticks from the digi one, so going to use that to confirm if I get any promising looking lines. I do like that one though, just too expensive to buy every month when you don't know how long it will take you to fall.

Sorry to hear AF turned up. I felt absolutely miserable when mine did!!! Now feel hopeful again for a couple of weeks. I have no doubt I will feel pants again if I have to see AF again soon. We didn't do to well with our big party for everyone's BFPs....
Is everyone joining in next cycle? I believe I should ovulate on Tuesday so will be right back to the two week wait again!

Well, I'm in a strop because my hubbie has been given a date for his back op of Saturday and my fertile week is next week so unless a miracle happens not sure he will be up to DTD, VERY inconvenient!!!!!

I'm praying and hoping he might be okay as surgeon said he will have mobility but guess we'll just need to wait! I'm so selfish, poor bugger is in constant pain and all I can think of is when am I ovulating!

Hey everyone.
Strange how you can go from being so excited & positive to feeling so low & sad. Excited this morning about poas & looking longingly at the stick hoping to see a hint of pink...but no bfn..then about 1hr later AF turned up!!
My temp dropped yday a little then dropped again this morning so had a feeling.
Sad thing is i really thought i was gonna test positive. Felt so different...but no just my body & mind playing tricks on me!

On the plus side my cycle hasnt been as long as last months. 43 days ...instead of 56 days.
I can carry on temping now too & try to get a better picture of my cycle as last months i only started mid cycle.

Hep I everyone, day 39 here, gonna test again tomorrow, I wish either I get a bfp or af arrives waiting is killing me. I've only just come off pill but I really thought I would be one of the lucky ones to revert straight back to normal

Hi everyone I'm still lurking but currently on holiday so won't even be able to poas till at the earliest Sunday. One of my apps says af due sat and the other one says af due mon so I'll see if she arrives over the weekend then possibly poas! This is my first cycle since coming off the pill so I'm insure as to length etc.

Its amazing how everyone's cycles are so different, its really frustrating to have no control over our own bodies (apart from DTD )! Good luck 1moretime, as they say don't give up hope until AF arrives! Same for you pinpan!

I remember doing OPK's last time ladyflower and I had one lot that never went positive so I bought some more, still cheapies I think and they worked, I guess there is always a risk with every test that's why I prefer checking CM, cervix, BBT and charting, apart from the fact it doesn't tell you that you've OVed until after!

I am waiting for AF to arrive, I think I OVed last Monday (purely based on the fact that was my last day of EWCM and my cervix was at its highest and open) so today is 10dpo, we weren't really trying this month so I want AF to hurry up so I can start a new chart afresh as it will be my first since coming off the pill. Last time I came off I went into 26-28 day cycles after my first AF and my luteal phase was about 12 days so I hope AF will arrive in the next few days.

Ladyflower this is exactly why I won't buy cheap strip opks or hpts anymore. I just don't trust them and end up paying out on more expensive ones anyway!
That is annoying about your cycle length changing pinpan. I know i always just want to know what's going on with my own body! The plus of having a shorter cycle though is that you end up with more chances to ttc...

I usually get a couple of days spotting before AF so I'm fairly resigned. Got a helluva lot on at the moment so it's probably for the best. Still though. Plus it's not fair that my cycle has switched from ~28 days to 25 exactly when we started TTC. Leaving it to 1moretime to keep hope alive for the thread!
