9 days late and counting..! Af is officially messing with me. So interesting to see how everyone is doing.

Katybear123 · 23/06/2014 17:58

That's great news redbunny. Day 43 and no af yet, blasted pill I should have come off it earlier but I honestly thought I would b one of those who returned to normal with no delay. I'm hoping it on the way nowadays as I'm sure my boobs feel more achy but trying to over think it as was convinced before that I was preg!

RedBunny · 23/06/2014 14:17

I did get my peak fertility on the opk today.
So that's good news! I am working as I thought! Woohoo! How is everyone else doing?

RedBunny · 23/06/2014 09:09

My clearblue digital opk has been on flashing smiley face still which is high fertility. I'm expecting to get peak fertility this afternoon. That will prove wether I actually am in the pattern I think or not! Though on Saturday I felt like I was ovulating but never got the peak fertility so I am most confused. All I can think is I don't know my body as well as I thought I do.... Which is so annoying! Confused
I'm Hoping it wasn't Saturday because I only DTD Friday night and before that Wednesday night.... Which should be ok but I worry too much!!

pinpan · 22/06/2014 09:31

Probably will happen this month and I'll be all oh lordy I could have done with a break! DD has given me an average of under six hours sleep, usually in 2 or 3 chunks, for the last fortnight. It's brutal! Probably why we didn't manage to DTD at quite the right time though! Hoping she's on the mend now...

I have no idea when I ovulate, but I think it's quite early coz DD's due date got moved back 4 days at 12 week scan and then she arrived bang on time. Grin

ladyflower23 · 22/06/2014 09:14

Yeh pinpan, you might as well carry on DTD unprotected this month and just see what happens. Will probably happen the 1 month you are not bothered anyway! Sorry to hear your DD is still not well. Seems to have been a long time, hope she will be feeling better soon. It takes its toll on you when they're ill doesn't it Flowers
Redbunny, no I don't feel when I ovulate. Had cramping last month for a day, but think that was about a week before I actually ov'd so not sure what that was about! What did your CB Dual Hormone gadget say this morning?

RedBunny · 21/06/2014 12:07

Does anyone else feel when they ovulate? Like I always get ovulation pains on the day, and today I have noticed ewcm for the first time this cycle and also my cervix feels sore which had happened before, but I realised I didn't have this last cycle so hoping it's going to mean a BFP...! Oh gosh. I want to stay chilled out but I'm just going to obsess again until I get a BFP or AF again. And that's still like 16 days away!

Katybear123 · 21/06/2014 11:58

Hi lady flower thanks so much for reassurance I had read it was really normal not to have normal regular cycles but u never know do u. And all my friends seem to have come off the pill and been straight bk to normal grr. Think u r right we r just going to keep dtd and hopefully it will come. Let's stay determine but not stressed ladies x

pinpan · 21/06/2014 10:30

Less stress is definitely the way. I came this close to suggesting to DH that we put TTC on hold this coming month as we have so much to do and DD is still ill and we're all exhausted. Then I thought nah, just don't worry about it. We probably won't have time to DTD much at the right time anyway but no point in actively trying not to get up-duffed, right? Wink

ladyflower23 · 21/06/2014 09:19

Morning redbunny. That's awesome you seem to be in a reg cycle and are feeling happier. I have realized been so stressed out last few months have been missing out on enjoying my life as is now which is a silly thing to do. Trying to have a 'what will be will' be attitude from now on (with a little help from opks!). Less stress has got to be better for getting a little one to take root Smile

RedBunny · 21/06/2014 09:04

I feel very determined this month will be the one! I'm also feeling much better in general, I've been really depressed and stuff and it seems to have lifted now so that should help I think. I also am taking some cough medicine as well just in case! I'm on it. Is anyone else ovulating next week? Newbie right? I need a two week wait partner!

RedBunny · 21/06/2014 09:02

So I got high fertility on my clearblue digital ovulation test today! Which is the exact same pattern I had last month, I feel a bit reassured that perhaps now I'm in a proper pattern again and will be able to get pregnant this month!! BUT I should be ovulating on Tuesday. And my husband informed me that he has to split his work on Monday and Tuesday so he will be working from like 7-12 in the morning and then 7-11ish at night! By the time he gets home I'm worried we might have missed it, me be so tired, he be so tired from all this work and it not happen. Suspect cbeebies will have to be my daughters friend a little while for a couple of afternoons....

ladyflower23 · 21/06/2014 08:36

Hi katybear. It must be really frustrating for you. Just wanted to say it's totally normal for period to take a while to show up after stopping pill so try not to worry. Everything will get back into working order. Keep trying to dtd regularly coz if you haven't ov'd yet you''re still in with a chance of catching the egg!

Katybear123 · 21/06/2014 08:17

It's awful isn't it cat, I just to be sure everything is ok and feel af will prove this yo me grrrrr for her not arriving

CatRen27 · 20/06/2014 21:23

Nope katy I had the coil and removed it in late Feb and had cycles of 28, 37 and now 40 with no sign of af! Gah. I agree I've never wanted it so much!

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 19:48

Haha, Ladyflower that did make me laugh!! I do feel very lucky, I just hope it "sticks", keeping everything crossed :D

ladyflower23 · 20/06/2014 18:34

Sorry old AF has turned up proper pinpan. There seems to be quite a few of us in for the next round. I guess we will all be TWWing at different times this time due to cycle lengths. I've still got 2 weeks till I can start waiting for 2 weeks, oh the agony!
Well Claire, we will all be hoping that your tremendous good luck rubs off on all of us. A BFP out of just 2 shags on an irregular cycle is definitely big time lucksville. I will stop berating myself for only doing it 3 times now! Right, I'm off to Amazon to get my OPoneKinopes. Happy Friday Night everyone. No baby, but Affligem followed by Tempranillio for me tonight. Only 1/2 hour till Beer O Clock. At least that's come round quickly...

Katybear123 · 20/06/2014 18:15

Congrats Claire, that's fab. Bfn here this am day 40 and still no af. Cat ren 27 were you on the pill to? Never wanted a period so much :-(

RedBunny · 20/06/2014 16:13

Sorry pinpan. AF sucks.

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 14:32

Zoobaby I know, it is quite faint! I'm not truly sure how days past ovulation I am, so I think it could just be very early? I have done 7 tests total now (including two from a urine sample later in the day), and all of them have been a faint positive. I am a bit embarrassed to say this, but I've used 2 Superdrug tests, 3 cheapie ebay sticks, and 2 cassette type tests! I will check tomorrow morning as well, to see if I get a darker line :D

zoobaby · 20/06/2014 14:26

Newbie... your poor DH. That back problem is going to require some alternative thinking. Maybe you'll find something that you both like. Haha.

zoobaby · 20/06/2014 14:24

Wow, congrats Claire. I'm still popping in here every now and again to see who else has positives. The (pink) Superdrug test is a really faint line isn't it? But it looks the same as the diagram on the box. I hope you'll buy another variety of test (one where the line is expected to be darker) so we can all know for sure! Smile

CatRen27 · 20/06/2014 11:26

Thanks Newbie and Claire, I think some doctor's advice would certainly be useful! I've not lost hope, just anxious to get on with it Smile

DH and I are doing a lot less travel in the next few months, which is good news. We went to 6 countries between us in Africa, Asia and Middle East (separately!) with work over the last three months, which is not conducive to TTC!

pinpan · 20/06/2014 11:22

Congrats Claire!

Aaaaand AF is definitely here today so I'm out. Sad Roll on the end of June. Hmm I've downloaded the Ovia app, as much to keep track of cycles as to jump on DH when it tells me to get jiggy! Grin

newbie6 · 20/06/2014 11:15

Congrats Claire, lucky you......how exciting :) x

Catren27, sorry to hear about your BFN and AF, as others have said could your doctor maybe give you something to help, if not you might just have to DTD every other day but like you, seems a chore sometimes rather than a pleasure but it will be worth it :)

So, hubby is being operated on tomorrow and according to my numerous ovulation apps I will be fertile anytime from Tues/Wed so have told him to take all the painkillers on offer as he's gonna need them!

X
