Hi. I am 29 and my husband 30 we have been together for 8 years and we have decided to have a baby. After trying for 18 months I went to the doctor and had different tests and my husband as well and all came as normal. Now its been 2 years and still not pregnant. the doctors at the hospital told me last time that the next step would be IVF. Is there anything else I can do?!

Strawberry, what tests have you had done? There are some tests (AMH, hycosy/hsg) which aren't generally offered straight away but should be done before IVF.

(Not sure if a positive story helps, but we finally got a natural bfp after just over 2 years unexplained IF, a cycle or so after hycosy and a few weeks before we were due to go back to clinic for IVF!)
