The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Yes stay here as long as you want feather am so happy that everything is spot on so far. Will obv keep crossing everything as for the rest of the differs.

Spare 4 years ago for your first bloods is crazy. Is this to start IVF now? Sorry I don't know your story so not sure where you are at.

Tiger how are you now? Hope you have fully recovered from the lap.

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 12:21

Thanks all. Very early days still and anything could happen, but I am just SO relieved the little thing made it through my tube and into the right spot. Going to take it one day at a time and if it's ok with you all, I'd like to hang out with you ladies - too scared to go to the chopper!

greatbigbushybeard · 13/06/2014 12:20

Yaaaaaaayyyyy!!!!! Fab news feather. I am illicitly checking my I pad in loo at work, it is lunch time though so kids not on there own! So pleased for you. X x

tigerdog · 13/06/2014 12:07

I knew it feather but I'm a little teary-eyed on your behalf nonetheless! So pleased for you x

OttersPocket · 13/06/2014 12:05

lumen as a veteran of injections (type 1 diabetic for 24 years) I'd advise releasing the pinch then letting the needle stay in your skin for a good few seconds before pulling out. You shouldn't get any drugs coming out then.

lumen · 13/06/2014 11:51

So happy for you feather and your dh! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

spare I am one of those people who has to look the other way or close my eyes when having blood taken or injections, so I have been very proud of myself the last two evenings. I think it is because I know I have to do this if I want a baby. It is for less than two weeks hopefully, that is nothing.

I didn't use any ice as we are away for the weekend and I won't have access to ice. I found pinching the area whilst putting the needle in helps, but learnt you have to release the pinch before pulling out, I didn't the first time and some of the drug came back out Confused last night was better when I released the pinch but it did bleed more last night.

sparechange · 13/06/2014 11:27

Great to see some berries off to the copter! Always gives me more hope!

We had our FC appointment yesterday, and they asked to see all my historic blood tests, so I've asked my GP to fax them over. V depressing that the first ones were taken 4 years ago, but hopefully the end is in sight.

lumen I've got needle fear, so will be watching you closely to see how you get on!

OttersPocket · 13/06/2014 11:06

WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Go feather and bean! So excited for you x

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 11:01

There's a baby! And it's in the right place with a heartbeat! I can't believe it. In shock. They've dated me as 6 weeks along. Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Will check in later and catch up with all the news. X

Hi rp, this is because if you are negative and the baby positive (from its dad) and any of your blood mixes yours will start creating antibodies to protect yourself. It can cause complications for both you and baby. If you do have this issue you have some injections through pg to stop the antibodies. That is my memory if it from reading about it in a book a while ago, someone correct me if I am wrong.

RevoltingPeasant · 13/06/2014 09:17

Oh btw - last night the GP referred me for a blood test this morning - which I've just had - to determine my blood type as apparently they don't have it. She said they have to make sure I'm not rhesus negative, and if I am, I have to have an injection.

What's that about???

RevoltingPeasant · 13/06/2014 09:16

Feather, fx for you! I have the same good feeling about you as I did about Bushy and look how that turned out Grin

beakybeak · 13/06/2014 09:02

Nolly I love good shoulders. And arms, maybe with a full sleeve Grin

Feather thinking of you today and sending berry vibes.

Otters your dh is gonna be ill! Still, needs must Grin

OttersPocket · 13/06/2014 08:26

Woohoo bushy, fantastic news!! Will they offer you another scan between now and 12 weeks? What an awesome little bean you have!

Positive vibes coming your way feather, everything crossed (except leg, I'm about to ov!) for a good result Smile

Stay strong rp, these little beans are more resilient than we give them credit for Flowers

Hullo everyone else, not much happening here. I'm due to ov on Sunday but it's DPs stag weekend so I need to make sure we bonk before he leaves at 8am tomorrow and grab the poor hungover wreck for another when he gets home on Sunday night. Poor thing Grin

barkingtreefrog · 12/06/2014 22:57

Thinking of you feather, sending loads of berry power your way. I'm having hypnosis followed by acupuncture tomorrow (different women in different cities!) so I'll be all mind empowered and I'll send all the woo vibes your way Grin .

rp I had a dildocam last time, I'm not intending to turn up with a full bladder as I can't imagine they'll even bother trying from above this early. Unless you've been told to drink I wouldn't bother.

Anyone else watching the football? I felt so sorry for the croatian goalie, and I don't even think it should have been a penalty.
