Hi girls, well it's been fun and games here (if only it had lol). I think I am now having a Progesterone withdrawal bleed 9 days after I finished my mc bleeding which lasted 13 days!! I can't believe that a pregnancy that only peaked at 200 hcg could have given me more shit than the pregnancy that actually formed a sac. Ludicrous.

So this bleed that started yesterday with spotting coincides with the time I would have expected my period. My main confusion is how is there possibly anything else to bleed out? 13 days of full flow bleeding would sufficiently empty my uterus of it's lining I would think, one assumes not. My hope now is that after this bleeding has stopped I might actually resume my normal cycles again.

I also have the biggest blind spot on my chin that ever was. Hormones I suspect, not a happy bunny

Tranquility no, no other babies. This pregnancy has been hard won and a v long time in the making following a miscarriage in January 2012. Yes- it's taken over 2 years to get this bfp. Was just about to embark on iui! So as you can imagine, having an early reassurance scan was really important to me. Still feel there is a long way to go but hopefully if when I make it to 12 weeks I'll feel much more positive. I still feel quite sad that aged 35, this should be a sibling for the baby that should have arrived in August 2012. But sometimes things are not meant to be. I would like to have more than one child though and am very conscious of my age if all goes well with this pregnancy and we want to try for another. Getting ahead of myself a bit I think!!

Thanks Stubborn and Kegirl - scan was very good. Everything is as it should be and I measure 9weeks which is a couple of days further on than I thought, but i gather that can fluctuate quite a bit. I'm just so bloody relieved. Will have my 12 week scan in 3 weeks so I need to stay calm until then and just believe it will be ok.

Tranquility really sorry you're struggling today. These milestones are so tough. But you are doing really well. I didn't realise you have to wait 3 months after surgery. Hope the next 2 just fly by...until then, loads of treats for yourself and plenty of wine, cocktails, pate, cheese, sushi and spas are in order (all the things you won't be able to have when you're pg)!

You can try again a month after a miscarriage but not after surgery for an ectopic as everything needs to heal. X hope your scan goes well Fankle x

I'm having a v emotional week, I would've been 12 weeks this Saturday and right now I could scream and cry tears of frustration at the injustice of it all. It'll pass I'm sure x onwards and upwards right girls x

It sounds like you're like me with parties- pulling out all the stops to make a memorable party (although my cakes are probably a bit more amateurish than yours)- and tiring yourself out in the process...?

Although it does have a pay off when everybody congratulates you on a great party!

Tranquility why do you have to wait so long to start ttc again? I thought you could start trying after 1 normal period...at our age see no reason to wait 3 full months.

Sorry the rest of you are having frustrations at doctors etc. it's all a waiting game and it really tests your patience. Hope the referrals and dildo cam appointments start coming through soon!

Yes, shouldn't your hormones be all over the place if it's PCOS? But that's really cool to get a ref to the fertility clinic- you'll be able to get the opinion of the experts!

Things have stalled a bit re: tests here: I'm waiting for my FUCKING PERIOD to start so I can start another cycle, pinpoint when I've ov'ed and have another Day 21 test- the GP was making noises about not sending me for an ultrasound until DP gets tested- which has been delayed.....bloody hell . I might burst into noisy tears on her and see if she'll take pity on me and send me for the DildoCam earlier.....

well now im very confused. Went to GP to get all my test results, everything looks normal, ive got to go for another test on friday to check ive ovulated but she was hesitant about it being PCOS. I cant believe the sonographer made me so worried and anxious, i realise what a cow id been. Looks like a def ref to the fertility clinic as they dont think they can explain it from my results OH going to get tested next week.

Hi Mampam, going from your examples, mine definitely isn't!

The line on mine is much much closer to the white plasticky bit on the left of the test stick and mine are the same tests as yours.

I may do another one tomorrow but at 10DPO I've always had a definite (but faint) line there by now when I've had BFPs, so I don't think it's my month.

Well 10DPO and had a second line on an IC this morning BUT (and this is a huge BUT), I don't think it was a real line...

It's difficult to tell (and if I had a phone that worked properly I would take a pic and post it, but I don't, so I can't...) I think it's too close to the end of stick, IYSWIM.

I will try and draw it below...

So, the first 'l' is the line I'm seeing, I think it's way too far away from the control line (the second 'l') to be a 'real' line.

I would have expected it to look more like this if it was a BFP...

If anyone has got a BFP on an IC, can you advise me? I would have imagined the 'test' line to be in the same place as it is on the OV versions, wouldn't you?

I will be taking another one tomorrow anyway just in case, but thought I'd ask you ladies...
