Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Morning ladies, CD13 for me, temps are low, OPKs are negative and the BD marathon has begun (with a little help from Monsieur Le Pre Seed!! TMI, sorry ) EWCM seems to have disappeared again, very confusing!

It was a bit odd last night actually as DH came back from watching football late and I was in bed, waiting! I subtly tried to ask him to "dance" and he said he was tired to which I had a complete huff and told him he was letting me down and that we'd agreed etc etc. He said sorry and things became more positive but I felt really odd about the whole thing because he kept asking TTC questions which made it all seem a bit contrived! Now that the first official attempt at trying is over, hopefully things will go back to being less mechanical! Sorry to divulge so much but I thought you'd all understand and make me feel less odd about it all!

How are you all today? Babymad - I am glad you are feeling better and have had a good run at things this cycle, fingers crossed for you. When will you be testing?

Desperate - posted for you on Sept thread but just wanted to say hi again.

Nuttymum - hello, EWCM = Egg White Cervical Mucus (I like the abbreviation better don't you!)

Hey RachelRose - is Superdrug now sold out of OV tests? . I bought tons off the Access Diagnostics website but they are the dip in ones rather than the midflow ones so they are not exactly handy to take to work. I had not realised either that you should test for LH between 10am and 8pm and that first pee is not good for OV tests! How much of the day are we expected to spend in the loo! You have mail!

Babymad4num3 · 20/09/2006 20:00

I was feeling down to, last month couldn't stop crying, couldn't eat or sleep but it passed and i will for you to you'll see, hope you feel better v.soon! Thinking of you! I'm in between OV and AF now, it's a waitting game, hate that part!

desperate2bmum · 20/09/2006 19:52

yeah im ok thanks hun just trying to keep busy and wish this month away to try again..been having bad problems sleeping though lately which is very draining.

Babymad4num3 · 20/09/2006 19:32

Babymad4num3 · 20/09/2006 13:53

I've been meaning to do it every other day for months now, i'm so glad i have this cycle!

RachelRose · 20/09/2006 13:47

Thanks for the info on superdrug ov tests - I'll pop and get some - fingers crossed you dont OV til the weekend!

Babymad, good to hear you are feeling better, sounds like you've covered all the bases with your BD-ing this month!

RachelRose · 20/09/2006 13:44

Hi Everyone - great to see EWCM is flowing for so many of you . Lets hope its a really really positive month.

As for me, CD13 today, another negative on OV test, but am managing to control my "what if i'm not ovulating fears", so all is well. Just in case though I'm planning BD every other night from now on just so I know we gave it a good go this month. I haven't said as much to DH as he may feel under pressure to perform (poor love)

MrsMcJ, are you moving house?

Babymad4num3 · 20/09/2006 13:43

rubles yes i'm over the moon that i have a v.good fighting chance but still going to BD on CD14-16-18 just incase and BDing isn't always about "baby" is it , And how are you today?

rubles · 20/09/2006 13:37

Ooh, good news babymad.

Babymad4num3 · 20/09/2006 13:32

Hello Ladies
CD13 it looks like i OVed yesterday and i've been BDing 7-8-10-12 day so good fighting chance this time headaches seem to be going and it looks like i've had a tummy bug! Hope everyone is well!

rubles · 20/09/2006 13:04

In case anyone is interested, I have just noticed that superdrug's ovulation tests are two for the price of one - that's if you're not already stocked up for the month.

Edie, I wonder if your doctor was being very sensitive about time to conceive after m/c. Maybe s/he was just trying to set your expectations low. I say this because I know I found the disappointment was tremendous when my AF arrived in the months after my m/c, it was like the impact of the m/c hit me all over again. I am much better now, but maybe that was what the doctor was trying to do just in case you didn't manage it immediately.

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 12:38

Edie - i thought it was just my machine, is yours doing the same, something about the server? Glad ERPC went well and fingers crossed it will happen again shortly for you.

Mrs- Thanks i hope it has worked as well am starting to get a bit of creamy CM which i think is what some get before EWCM and started doing OPK's but negative today. Yeah i really hoping i can keep the bding up but i should imagine everyother day would work i just really hope i get a positive OPK and then i really will go for it.

Rubles - seems like you are also a cycle buddie really hope you bding and ovulation co inside.

Anyone heard from coggy?

Baby dust to all xxx

edie123 · 20/09/2006 11:42

Hey everyone

Having tech problems on here this morning I see. Im fine MrsMcJnr, thanks for asking where I had gone! Had my ERPC Monday which went well. Now looking forward to ttc again, although GP warned may take a while which I thought was disappointing as so many MNers have said how quick they were to fall after a mc. Oh well, everyone is different. Half of me wants to forget all the ov tests, charting, temping etc as im sure all that stress is counterproductive, but it's just so necessary at the same time!! Aaaarrrggghhhh

rubles · 20/09/2006 11:38

I am CD12 or CD13, depending on when you count the start of AF. I had abundant EWCM the day before yesterday, despite not taking any grapefruit juice/epo etc. Yesterday although it was very moist I didn't manage to check it's consistency.
It looks like I will ovulate Thursday/Friday, but I want to try to delay it if possible because dp is very stressed at work and ill and then I am away tomorrow night so it doesn't look like there'll be any bedroom action in time. Bummer.

nuttymum1 · 20/09/2006 10:59

morning all hope you are all well

MrsMcJnr · 20/09/2006 10:42

Hey Natty, sounds like we have a similar plan re BDing! I probably should have included yesterday too but if I do OV CD18 like last month, I thought we'd both be exhausted if we started that early! Hope the scan goes well and that the clomid is working for you. Have another estate agent coming today, hate it, but trying not to stress in case it affects OV!

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 10:38

Hi i am on CD11 so almost cycle buddies no sign of CM yet, temps still low 36.3, am sticking to just EPO this month so i can try something different each month, aiming to bd tonight CD11 all the way through to when i ovulate (if i do) scan Friday to confirm if clomid is working.

Hi to everyone else, my MN main screen is playing up so finding it hard posting today.

MrsMcJnr · 20/09/2006 10:33

Morning ladies! CD12 for me and guess what (TMI alert!) have EWCM today! . I am still a bit early to OV as the last 2 cycles I have OV CD16 and CD18 but I am not ruling an early OV out as I'd hate to miss the boat. OPK says negative this morning and temps are still low so I don't think it's happened yet. Hope DH's team win the football tonight and he is in a good mood when he gets home

Must tell you though, I don't know if it is the guiffesin, grapefruit juice, EPO, water or oatmeal but something has improved my CF dramatically!

NattyandThomas - hope poor little Thomas is feeling a bit better now

Lovelybird - (liking our new emoticon!) annoying when it plays up like that, I have had AFs like that in the past (pre pill days). Glad to hear you have covered all bases!

Hello to everyone else, how are you all? all a bit quiet, what are you up to? Some of you are getting into exciting time aren't you?

Where are you? BBWBabeLisa - CD19 isn't it? SOH? Natty? Mad4girls - CD19 too?? Nikie1? (or are you pg? ) Desperate? Rubles - CD13? Feedmenow? RachelRose - CD12? Vix5? Uki? Edie123? Nuttymum? Jennster? Rubyroo - CD17? DD1 - CD4? Babydust to you all......................................

lovelybird · 19/09/2006 20:02

Hi all,
MrsMcJnr-thanks for the reply. My 3 days of AF was more than spotting but not much more - sorry if this is TMI - I went for a wee and there was some AF. I think this is it, use tampax and then later when I go to change nothing - no AF at all. It was like this for 3 days - a bit of AF but definately more than spotting. Then on day 4 it was niagra!
I have used both dates and cycle's of 23/24 dates and have had about 2 weeks of possible OVing! So lots of bding during this time so not sure when i'm meant to be OVing as cycle has gone bonkers. Next AF due anytime after 30th sept. ill try and work out what's going on properly next month.
Babydust to you all.

NattyandThomas · 19/09/2006 18:34

I think I'll try the DQ if I move to the Positive November thread. I have heard about a book called "The Infertility Cure" by Randine Lewis and it is all about Chinese remedies etc so would quite like to read that first

LOL at you RachelRose - I know what you mean about have I, haven't I, will I, won't I, can I etc! no wonder we stress ourselves out!!
