Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Hello ladies still playing the waitting game 5DPO, hope everyone is having a nice/fab weekend!

Mad4girls sorry your feeling down have you been to doctor regarding the matter?

Rubyroo I have "Chronic Pyelonephritis" and always get "kidney infactions" but when i tell my doctor I'm TTC, he dose a PG test for me, if neg and no AF he just gives me "amoxicillin" till AF then puts me on "trimethoprim" which is the only one that works for me!

Hope all my cycle bud's are BDing and having a great weekend!

rubyroo · 24/09/2006 12:56

hi everyone been reading all the posts this thread moves quick! mad4girls i was having trouble ovulating and started taking agnus castus and epo every day and it seems to have worked this month. i'm having blood tests tommorrow to see if i ovulated this month but i'm feeling pretty confident i did. am on antibiotics though for kidney infection and feel a bit stressed in case i am pregnant can't test till thurs though at earliest gp said i had to take them or infection would worsen rapidly so trying to be optimistic. temps are still up so its just a waiting game.

mad4girls · 23/09/2006 20:01

ROFL @ fanny fart stories. they are the funniest.

MrsMc - ooh darling, that is soooo familiar. I am sure it goes on with loads of couples. It really makes me unhinged when it happens...in my mind it becomes 'now or never' in that i think that is THE night it has to be done and if we don't do it then we will have to wait for another month for the opportunity...I almost get a panic attack at the prospect. I really, really try to keep a grip on myself but when I lie there in the dark thoughts race round and round my head and I feel so lonely and mad - like 'we've been trying to conceive for so long and I'll be 36 before it happens and then I'll be even older' and 'we're being too laid back about it' and 'it'll never happen if we don't have sex', 'why can't he just do it', 'is it really so awful to have sex with me now'. Then i think 'our relationship is dead' 'he doesn't fancy me anymore'. And I also get angry that I have been being so nice to him to butter him up and stayed up specially and then he goes and says he's feeling bloody ILL. How dare he?! Then the next day I generally see it a bit clearer and we do the deed and then it's all fine and dandy and forgotten about.

Do you know what. Someone told me a story recently about a woman they worked with who got pregnant after ttc for a very long time. She was married, but the sex had become so awful because it was all about ttc that shey did it with a turkey baster. Let that be a lesson to us all to keep it good and sexy and not let it go stale.

Babymad4num3 · 22/09/2006 16:44

Hi my weight shifts quite abit during my cycle too never found a reason for it tho!

RachelRose · 22/09/2006 16:33

Hi,
Can I ask a slightly dumb question. Does anyone else gain weight around ovulation. I know it sounds like I'm trying to find an excuse for eating too many cakes, but my weight shifts quite a lot during my cycle but I've never really paid much attention to when it changes until I started ttc. Am having a 'fat' day today and am CD15 - no OV yet acc my tests.

Am I alone on this?

Oh, and anyone for more cake {as she scoffs another down...}

Natty1806 · 22/09/2006 16:31

Hi Mrs - thanks for thinking of me today it went well full story on the clomid thread if you want a read, sory your having a hard time at the moment, i think the more you think about the fact that you only really have a tiny period of time that you can actually get pregnant it really plays on your mind, hopefully you will have great make up sex today just for fun.

Natty&thomas at the stone weight loss what is your new job????

desperate2bmum · 22/09/2006 15:18

yeah pregnant women are everywhere but i am so pleased for her she will make a fantastic mum

Babymad4num3 · 22/09/2006 14:57

desperate2bmum · 22/09/2006 14:45

hello - ITS FRIIIDDDAAAYYY!!!!

oh this has been such a hard week at work and at home - no bding at all!!

mrsmcjnr - sorry you had a bad night but you will make it up with your dp me and mine are always like that he has a very physical job and all he wants to do when going to bed is sleep so i have had the occassional tantrum and when i am refused sex i simply do it back to him outside my "crucial" days. soooo childish i know.

nattyandthomas - at your stone weight loss!!!

babymad - hiya hun! glad to hear your still ok

and hello to everyone else!

i wont be taking it further with the situation at work because i should have had a warning for phoning in sick but because of the balls up they wouldnt have a leg to stand on so im letting it go...FOR NOW! had some good news today too my friend had a little girl last night

Babymad4num3 · 22/09/2006 13:18

Feedmenow lol "fanny fart" I love it, no not when weeing but last Cycle my in-laws came round just as DH came if you get me LOL, I was walking around making them a drink and stuff and I just kept fanny farting lol, just so glad they did hear me, i just went upstair till i stoped, DH thought it was so funny! Yes get a jolly good NOV tread going as I'm due AF 2nd of nov and again AF on 30th NOV so I'll be in there for a long time, if i dont get a BFP!

feedmenow · 22/09/2006 12:59

Hello everyone! Just thought I'd check in. I reckon I'm CD19 today, but couldn't guarantee it. I'm pretty sure that my body and my hormones are all over the place (had coil removed a few weeks ago)and am having lots of symptoms but these could just as easily be due to hormonal changes. I hope this isn't TMI, but has anyone ever experienced a small "fanny fart" sensation every time they wee, and not just after bd! Any idea what this is? I didn't have it pre-coil removal so can only assume that this is some way hormonal too!
Anyway, think I'll have to wait for AF before I can really start commenting on my CD, etc, so reckon I should hop over to the November thread....what do you mean there isn't one yet

Babymad4num3 · 22/09/2006 12:48

NattyandThomas has only got 5 to go! And lovelybird has i week to go! I think we should have a list going, 1st 2nd thing going LOL!

Me i'm testing in 10-13 days time!

RachelRose · 22/09/2006 12:44

Sorry to hear about your nephew babymad - that must be awful for his parents. Hope they get some answers soon x

RachelRose · 22/09/2006 12:39

Ooops, can't be you babymad - I forgot your my cycle bud! Guess it must be nattyandthomas or lovelybird...

RachelRose · 22/09/2006 12:37

Hello everyone!

MrsMcj, so sorry you feeling down about it all. It is so frustrating isn't it!! We seem to do all effort with ttc (not that MN is an effort!), and do all the reading and planning and then at the one bit they have to do, they say... "Nah, not tonight"! I know my DH doesn't respond well 'under pressure' so I dont tend to mention ttc much when it comes to when we should BD, I now just make the first move and that tends to do the trick! .

However, I have had my share of nights where I've said that its the right time, he says he can't be bothered, I then get upset, he says 'oh go on then' and then I get in a huff and say 'dont bother if its that much effort!!" Then I lie awake angry for about 2 hrs while he snooozes peacefully next to me! Very childish I know

As for me, its CD 15 and still no smily face on my digi-OV test... So either I've missed it (I started at CD11) or its still to come this month OR I'm not going to OV this month. Fingers crossed its either of the first 2.

I'm thinking who is the next to test - Is it you babymad?

Babymad4num3 · 22/09/2006 11:50

Hi morning all!
CD15 today, temp still high, best stay that way as well. Felt very tried last night so I didn't get to BD, even tho DH was very much up for it, lol, But he did keep me up the night before crying in his sleep he had a bad dream Bless! But I've already Oved so not panicking about it, I'll make it up to him tonight, lol !

NattyandThomas so glad little man so okay! That so fab good on you do you feel better for losing the weight, so glad your enjoying your job, sounds like everything is really going well good on you! My nephew has been in hospital ICU this week, he's so very little he's 15 months and is the size of a 6 month old at a push, he cant hold his head up or anything, they don't know what is wrong with him, the reason why he ended up ICU is he had 2 very bad fit's early this week, but he's alot better now but no answers to why he had the fit's tho!

Coggy sounds about right "bog-standard formula" when will they learn but people TTC will look at that, BD on them days and most of the time it's wrong and miss the boat ggrrrrrrr!

MrsMcJur so sorry your going though a bad time hope things look up for you soon!

Natty1806 we used the "pre seed" on the day we OVed it was fine but I've used it before ,sex was fab that night to don't know if it was down to the PS or not but sex has to be fun to the best kind LOL.

Rachel and Rose Rubles how are you today!

MrsMcJnr · 22/09/2006 11:33

Sorry NattyandThomas - I meant you are on Cd30 with 5 days to go, not me!

MrsMcJnr · 22/09/2006 11:32

Thanks ladies, I do appreciate your support It certainly feels like the honeymoon is over!

NattyandThomas - very jealous about you losing a stone! I just sit on my bum all day in my job.
cd30 for me, five days to go. If you have a high temp above your OV high temp for 18 or more days, that is a good sign that you may be pg. What have your temps been like since you OVd? have you charted them?

Lovelybird - here's to a successful weekend for BDing for you!

Natty - how did the appointment go? thinking about you.

Desperate - how are you today? sleeping yet? I am disgusted by the way at your managers' behaviour, are you going to raise it with HR or a Union Rep? They shouldn't get away with treating people like that.

Hey RachelRose, hey Rubles and Babymad and Coggy, hope you are all well. Also, hello to Nuttymum - I do agree with your keep it fun and not all about babies philosophy and I am trying to keep that but I am getting jaded and want to see some more effort on DH's part that's all, we have not been trying very long, only 4 cycles but I feel I am doing all the work and that if we just gave it a proper go, I wouldn't have to feel the way I do about things.

coggy · 22/09/2006 11:20

MrsMc.....been there, done that.....you could be describing me and the way that I've felt several times over the years of TTC.

Hard......but take some comfort in the fact that is NOT just your DH....(I used to feel that it was me and he wasn't interested anymore)......it happens to a lot of us and you've got us all here to vent to.

(((((hugs))))) - I know how awful you feel and BTW I never sleep properly with the crossness and frustration when that happens.
X

DD1ofcolandgerry · 22/09/2006 11:18
