Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Babymad, had a great time thanks. Not pleased to be back as it brings the whole ttc thing back to me! It's easier to forget about it all when you're on holiday.

RachelRose · 26/09/2006 12:19

Sorry you are not happy rubles - like nattyandthomas (and baby), I dont understand the numbers, but at least you are getting the chance to see someone soon.

NattyandThomas - My DH was exactly the same when I was pg with DS2. It only took a month after we agreed to try and he was shocked and not that excited. I was about to be made redundant so it was all bad timing, but he was soon as thrilled as I was!!! I guess for women its a little easier as we know so much more about whats going on - well, some of the time

RachelRose · 26/09/2006 12:13

Hi, It sounding so good for so many of us this month - babymad, Mrsmcj, andi... And is there any sign of lovelybird - I think she was one of our next testers!

CD19 for me (thought it was CD 19 yesterday, but think I was having a moment of confusion) - still no OV according to tests but read what you said Juicylucy about OV's not working for everyone, so we'll see. I'm still going to carry on so I can try to figure out whats going on this cycle, but reckon I'll get them from internet now as too expensive in shops - any advice on a good site?

NattyandThomasandBump · 26/09/2006 12:10

I've just got back from the doctors. Feeling a bit glum. She gave me the results of my blood tests taken about a month ago. My FSH is 10.2 which is above the range of normal and now I am in a panic, and t.b.h feeling f*ed off.
She has referred me to gynae, FINALLY, so we'll see what they say.

NattyandThomasandBump · 26/09/2006 12:05

babymad really really hoping for a + for u, miss our chats.

I've been creamy and and at times EWCM (soz TMI)!

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 11:45

Babymad - I've had loads of CM from OV onwards and still have lots now.

Hope it signals a + for you

Babymad4num3 · 26/09/2006 11:37

Morning ladies!
CD19 today, still waiting! Does anyone know what CM should be like after OVed?

NattyandThomas don't worry about DH my DH was the same with DS#2 but in the end he was the one phoning everyone telling them we were PG! Chin up and look after yourself and your family!

MrsMcJnr and you chin up it's not over yet not till AF lady sing's!

Andi0411 good on you, feeling pos and it's all sounding good for you, fingers crossed! The temp thing, the wide gap in taking temps will explain it!

Desperate2bmum how are you today? And how are you getting on with the new thom!?

Natty1806 LOL at the legs in the air, must try that, LOL!

RachelRose, rubyroo, and rubles how are you today?

sideways glad to see you back, did you have a good time?

sideways · 26/09/2006 10:54

Hi everyone, checking into the October thread as I got back from holiday at the weekend.

I didn't take epo and couldn't find any cough medicine with the right stuff in it, but I managed a glass of grapefruit juice every day. Definitely noticed a difference in cm.

Anyway, not too hopeful, but we'll see.

Don't have time to read the whole thread, but best of luck to us all!

NattyandThomas · 26/09/2006 10:49

MORNING ALL!

had a really bad night last night. dp told me that although he had concented to trying for thomas bro or sis, he thought it would take much much longer like last time, and he is not sure if now is the "right" time so had a conversation i never EVER thought we would have being as we are both catholic and have strong morals, but i managed to convince him that there is NO SUCH THING as a "right" time, not for us anyway as we will always be broke! lmao!

mrsmc i missed the "best" day this month too... and well it speaks for itself really. my software is adament that i am NOT pregnant this month as i did not bd on the right days... lmao!!
dont rely on it too much, just rumpy when u feel like it! i would say the two things i did differently this month was put ttc to the back of my mind as much as pos and standing on my head!!!

hoping u girls all get ur bfp this month, i need sum friends especally babymad, mrsmc and andi!

love to all and passing on the babydust

MrsMcJnr · 26/09/2006 10:08

My software has now changed it's mind and says I OVd yesterday instead! So that means CD14 was good for BDing and CD16 was one of the best days! We'll see! Now the 2WW.

MrsMcJnr · 26/09/2006 09:51

Morning to you all ladies. CD18 for me today and I think I OV today.

Don't feel like I will get a positive this cycle, don't know why. Used EPO, grapefruit juice, guiffesin, green tea and B6 until I started getting pos OPKs (still don't know how long you are meant to take the B6 for but thought it was better to be safe than sorry) and also the pre-natal vits.

We BD CDs12, 14 and 16 each time with pre-seed (but no handstands etc ). My software is telling me that CD16 was the only good day out of those and whilst I really wanted to have one last Tango last night, I had an excrutitating migraine in both eyes and just couldn't. I think that is maybe while I feel down, I missed my best day and couldn't BD this morning either.

I know there is always next cycle and the ones after that but..................

Andi - I am still getting the vibe from you chick!! Sorry, mean friend, forgot to look in my book last night, felt so awful with migraine, shall look tonight.

Hello Rubles, Babymad and Feedmenow!Congratulations LuluMum!! Think that standing on my head will be my next plan of attack next cycle! Hello Rubyroo, hello Desperate - glad you are enjoying your new toys! Hello RachelRose and JL2!

rubles · 26/09/2006 08:10

Andi - between 5 and 7 is quite a wide time span, so that might explain it.

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 23:29

I'm in between OVed and AF, started going swimming, and I have 7-8 day to go before testing as I tested 3 days early for DS#2 and got a pos, that's me fine, well and pos!

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 22:38

Well I have been taking it between 5-7 am but always b4 getting out of bed...haven't been poorly. Its looks odd doesn't it? i think they're too high overall.Strange thing is I have a v pos vibe this month- can't explain it , i feel diff.

Enough about me- what're you up to?

Glad Coggys clinic appt went well- was thinking about her today (i know we all were)and when she didn't come on at tea time I thought...ooopps, but all well that ends well

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 22:11

andi0411 Just seem like the only answer as you also had a +opk and your lowest temp too at CD14! Are you taking your temp at the same time each morning as well as taking it before you have even got out of bed? And have you been unwell at all?

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 22:07

Hi everybody -Babymad you might be right about my dip on cd 14- fingers crossed eh?

Feedmenow lol you talking to yousil tummy whilst getting sloshed!! Ikwym about envy though- feel a touch of that myself s'times.

Hi to everyone else!!!

Lulamum · 25/09/2006 21:50

Hi there, I tried for 5 years to concieve, having first a miscarriage and then ectopic pregnancy, (messed up tubes due to infection)had corrective surgery and read said book, charting my temperature. after a while of just checking for fertil fluid, it wasn't until I stood on my head after sex that I conceived my baby and gave birth 4 months ago to a beautiful bAby girl

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 20:48

Anyone in here?

rubles · 25/09/2006 20:15

Rubyroo, does she mean a dip around 7 days after ovulation? If so, I have had it sometimes (and not been pg), and if that is what she is referring to then i think it is called an implantation dip, although it is not necessarily anything to do with implantation. I don't think it necessarily means anything either way, to be honest.

rubyroo · 25/09/2006 19:03

congratulations to all the bfp's!! sending you lots of sticky thoughts have a bit of a technical question am using toni weschlers book and it says some women have a dip in temps after ovulation and produce fertile cm. this seems to be happening to me but she doesn't say if thats a definite sign that you're not pregnant. am feeling bit anxious any advice gratefully recieved.

feedmenow · 25/09/2006 18:44

Evening all! What a lot of good news! Congrats to the lucky owners of those BFP's
My SIL was over at the weekend (she is 19wks pg) and she stayed sober while I got rather sloshed. I spent a fair part of the evening talking to her belly so that the baby knows my voice.....I probably scared the poor thing senseless!! I was a little bit envious of the pg belly though Hopefully I'll have one of my own very soon......

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 18:08

andi0411 You did have a dip on the CD14 so you might have OVed about then!

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 17:37

thought i would join this thread as im still hoping to have a positive in october.. well i suppose im hoping for sticky positives! lmao

going back to work! (on lunch)

love natty xxx
