Thanks Vic, glad you had a nice time it's BOILING here today 23c been out with the dogs this am and glad to be done by midday!! Stuck at work this afternoon but will jump him later ;-) im on cd16 the day of his sa so don't really want to miss out on 5 whole days but if it's anything like last cycle ov won't be til the next week anyway!!!

victoria401 · 17/05/2014 14:15

We were told not less than 2 and no more than 5 so I just got him off 3 days before the test! I was on af so couldn't dtd! I think doing it tonight should be fine for a test on Thursday.

Back from Dorset now, stayed at charmouth in a caravan. Was better weather than we were expecting so we had to cope with all our winter clothes! Have a vest top on now! But it is tons warmer back home rather than on the coast! Baking in my sheltered garden. Have all the washing out :-)

MB1985 · 17/05/2014 13:55

Ladies I need advice!!! Dh sa is thursday, he has been told by hospital to abstain for 5 days but we got a bit mixed up with our dates - can we dtd tonight or not????? Tia x

MB1985 · 16/05/2014 21:22

step whole month would make sense if the dye isn't safe. Have you gone private for all tests? I have warned dh that depending on how things go I may want to go private too - I have zero patience!!!

blue have you poas yet? If not how!!!!!

lil1ady · 16/05/2014 18:36

I was told whole month too stepmama. we also got told dh needed to do 2 sa's but he did them a month apart.

blue stay strong Thanks

stepmama84 · 16/05/2014 17:17

My doc didn't say anything about dh giving a sa two weeks apart?!
We only have the one test…
GP so bloody useless, just try and placate you and get you out the office. Glad I've gone private 12 june and we have a consultation with all the results so far. I'll prep dh incase they want another sa on the day.
AF trailing off cd5, not happy about not ttc before the hycosy, the nurse said after the procedure was fine though? one you were told the whole month though, so not feeling (confused)

xBlueberry88x · 16/05/2014 16:30

Afternoon Ladies,

The weather is stunning on the Isle of Wight today I do love living here.

Feeling a little bit better today but still worried what gynae might say. We havent got a reason yet although doc did ask if I had been checked for pcos which I havent. Just need to wait weeks for the appointment now blahhh

Thanks for all the lovely comments im an emotional person so I cry at everything lol.

Stepmama you get the hang of the meanings dont worry it took me a while!!

Mam love the positivity!!

Lindsay Lol its so fun taking the mick outta the dps but bless him for being worried. My DP doesnt really show any signs of worrying but he does comfort me when I need it. And when I say AF is on its way he always says "it might not be" trying to be sweet.

Still no sign of AF 2 days late now, no craps and no signs of anything.

Yesterday felt nauseous but I think that was worry more than anything.

lil1ady · 16/05/2014 15:28

Dr Google knows everything! one week is good. we had to wait 2wks.

Lindsay81 · 16/05/2014 15:16

Hi Lil One week- she says they will be with the GP next Friday. Not bad, reaLly. Although also said that some GPs don't like to discuss the results until both samples have been analysed.... I am still assuming you could get the results though and consult Dr. Google. lol

lil1ady · 16/05/2014 15:07

Lindsay you mean its not meant to be green? oh dear! just kidding obvs! love that little joke you played on him but bless him for not realising you were winding him up! how long do you have to wait for the results?

mam your PMA is inspirational! Smile

Lindsay81 · 16/05/2014 13:59

Happy Friday ladies! Sorry I have been MIA... Travelling again this week, although it was a fairly pleasant trip this time :-)

Hello stepmum! Nice to "meet" you and hope you find the thread useful. Your DSS mum sounds like a right cow but LOL at your nobleman comment... that really made me laugh!

Also glad to hear your hyscosy was so easy onelife! Apart from the waiting obviously. Good results!!! :)))

Blue- I know this is hard to hear but this is honestly a good thing in my eyes. They think they have figured out what's going on and not only that, they have proposed a potential solution. It's a way forward, if nothing else. xoxoxo

I dropped DH's SA sample off at the hospital today. The GP didn't tell us they would want 2 x results at least 2 weeks apart, although I kind of knew that from you guys. Will have to tell him when he gets home tonight- oh joy! He was all worried this morning that the "volume" wasn't good and said sometimes in the morning he doesn't "get a lot out". Oh LMAO! Sometimes if you didn't laugh at this stuff, you'd cry!

After dropping it off, as a joke, I sent him a text that said "All done. Although they asked if yours has always been clear/ white, because usually it's green in colour?" He sent me back "Yes always. Should be green?"
I did LOL but it made me realise how worked up he is about all this, that his first instinct was to assume something was wrong, rather than see the joke, :-( Wee soul.

Anyway, that's our SA story so far. LOL. cd5 here, AF p!ssing off and looking forward to a weekend of making my husband feel like the man he is :-)

Mam31 · 16/05/2014 12:11

Welcome stepmama and hi everyone else. Stepmama your brave going to hycosy on your own, I think my DH will be a bit traumatised if/when I've to go, but he will be forced to hold my hand through it lol

Onelife, your post is so very true about Stephen...should make everyone think really that even in the most difficult times we are all very blessed to be healthy, have our lives, family, friends, partners/husbands and the rest!!!!!!!

I do feel living life while we wait for our little bean is one of the most important things I've learnt throughout this journey and appreciating everything I already have.

I know that can be so difficult at times and when I started the dreaded pre af spotting yesterday I can assure you I was not in a good place....but after I had a cry and thought of everything I have to be grateful for, I snapped out of it and realised again that this is out of my hands....all I can do is be happy, live life and keep shagging!!!!!

Life is a gift ladies, so grab it with both hands!!!!!! :)

MB1985 · 16/05/2014 09:33

Ovulation predictions kits stepmama :-) takes a while to pick everything up!!! Xx

stepmama84 · 16/05/2014 09:03

Slowly getting to grips with the acronyms, fx - fingers crossed? and what's pos opk? pee on stick? something? (blush)

stepmama84 · 16/05/2014 08:49

Morning ladies, another beautiful day!
Thanks for your kind words, Vic- I think she just figured it out. She would of known from dss we wanted a child and it's coming up 2yrs after we got married.

One the hycosy info is really helpful thank you. I have to go on my own. Dh hates all things medical and need to save his willpower for absolute must appointments.
Happy your all clear, I can't believe they missed your dh needing antibiotics !

Blue- big hug, you're on the right track now and once medication is in your system it'll just be a matter of time I'm sure Smile

Have a happy day everyone

lil1ady · 16/05/2014 00:44

hi all

stepmum what an awful thing for her to say, but good on you for not retaliating and having some empathy. hopefully your kindness will be rewarded with a bfp soon.

one thanks for the detailed hsg description. it's always nice to know what to expect for these things. glad we are getting same advice too!

blue sorry you've had bad news. sounds like the bleeding could have been AF if you were annovulatory. but I echo what others have said. clomud us an easy fix and you could be on the road to that bfp now.

sorry to hear others have been feeling low. I'm trying to keep ttc out of my mind this month. the "just relax" approach. I think I may punch myself for it though!

MB1985 · 15/05/2014 23:21

Yay glad you are enjoying the weather AND got to dtd plenty on your hols :-) I saw this on FB earlier and thought of you lol
metro.co.uk/2014/05/12/11-reasons-dorset-is-the-best-place-to-live-in-the-uk-4722560/

where abouts are you staying? xx

victoria401 · 15/05/2014 22:53

Yes I'm still down here MB! Enjoying the weather! Internet is rubbish on campsite tho. Only seems to work first thing and last thing.

How dare this rude woman call u that stepmum, how does she know you've been ttc? I call myself that horrible word to dh, but that's allowed and me wallowing in self pity :-p

Glad your tubes are ok one. At least that's one step closer.

Sorry about your results blue but at least something is being done now hun.

I'm a few dpo. Don't know exactly as not been properly tracking! Had 4 days of ov pains this month and now I have sore boobs! Marked the ov pains on my app but not which day I got the pos opk. Dtd cd12, 14 and 16 tho :-)

Sorry if I've missed anyone else's news out, takes about 10mins to load up the page if it loads at all so forgotten what I've read by the time the end appears! Only hope all this will post without crashing!

MB1985 · 15/05/2014 22:34

Don't worry blue its what we are here for xx

xBlueberry88x · 15/05/2014 21:45

Thanks ladies I know its a step in the right direction but im just so tired already.

Hopefully gynae can give me a reason for why im not ovulating but I still think its because I was on depo for 10 years.

Have the weekend off so going to try and relax and not poas im not normally late with af but its probably stress.

Sorry for being so self involved!!

MB1985 · 15/05/2014 21:40

Oh and PS Vic hope you are still down here its defo not raining for the next few days - looking like 20-22 and sunny this weekend :-)

MB1985 · 15/05/2014 21:39

Yeah Blue agree with what May said, fingers crossed you now know the problem and it can be fixed.

Good luck for next month then One - prob quite nice knowing you are out this month I would think. You can just relax and enjoy life for a few weeks. yeah the whole Stephen Sutton thing really puts life into perspective. Every time I read an article about him I well up, he was just incredible RIP to a wonderful brave young man x

maybug3 · 15/05/2014 21:00

Clomid you, not commis toy! Sorry, stupid phone auto correct.

maybug3 · 15/05/2014 20:59

Hey blue. Just a quickie.
Sorry you're feeling low and feel free to wallow as long as you need but remember the positive. .. Hopefully you now know what your problem is and it's one they can help with! That is a huge positive as well as being upsetting. With commis toy could just be talking a few more months until your bfp.
Hugs.
X

xBlueberry88x · 15/05/2014 20:37

Update.

Doctor says my first blood test showed no ovation and the next to were low do unlikely ovulation.

Got to go to gynaecologist now which looks like they'll put me on clomid.

Feeling rather sorry for myself and rather depressed. ..plus af still hasnt shown up grr
