Hopefully we'll see more BFPs on this one!

may like vic just skimming but DH may be embarrassed. My clinic let my DH phone up / write and give permission for two things: one for me to be able to discuss DH but also - this is the good bit - for me to pick up the print out of the sa. I managed to do this by DH phoning at 2pm and me leaving work early. I had no conversation but had the print out open in my car by 5.40 the same day. Hope this works for you too. Be insistent! It's his info. Also this way, you and DH have time for any surprises to sink in before you have to discuss anything. Good luck.

Just got my gynae appointment through! Wasn't expecting it until August! It's for 26th June! At least the ball will be rolling now....nervous about it though!

victoria401 · 11/06/2014 12:22

My dh was the same May. I had to pester him to call as he acted like he didn't care one way or other. But he needs to make you happy, that's what hubby's are for :-) hope the results are ok. Do let us know x

I'm glad you've not had any spotting mama. Lets hope its a sign of good things x

I've just kinda skim read so I might do a proper catch up later. Having a bad day today and can't concentrate on one thing for long plus my eyes are sore from hayfever. Ick.

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 11:32

Awh May that's so stressful for you, DH needs to man up and make the phonecall and I think you should be quite firm with him now explaining that it's making you feel awful. I hope you get it sorted, hugs!!!!

maybug3 · 11/06/2014 10:48

Hi everyone.

Mama crossing everything for you as we all know a bfn this early means little.

Good luck for those being/already flushed! Let's hippie it does the trick as we are desperate for some bfp's here!

Popped in to doctors reception again and although they still don't know exactly which treat was inconclusive they have put 'no further action' next to it and the others were all satisfactory. Guess that's good...

Talked to dh and told him that his results were stressing me. He had promised to phone the doctors today and find out anything he can.

My concern had been made worse after I asked for the next sa pack for dh whilst I was in the doctors as he hadn't got around to collecting it after they rang him to say it was ready for him (they'd run out and could only give him 1 initially). It wasn't there and she checked his notes and said she would need him to speak to them...

I may be getting totally paranoid but it suggests to me there is no point in him doing the 2nd test...got to be bad news but I just need to know what we're dealing with!

So now I just sit and wait and hope dh does actually phone and actually gets some answers...

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 09:37

M33R, I must admit I have caved and got a bfn this morning on a sainsbury test; but I've learned my lesson and will not be poas again until Friday if still no spotting. I'm was so in control of my poas addiction, I don't know what came over me! Stupid really!!!

Hope af comes quickly for you then you can get back on the saddle ;)

m33r · 11/06/2014 09:00

I'm good mama; think AF going to make an early appearance which would be BRILLIANT as I just want to get back to it. Back to work today too.

Time just seems to stand still! Hang in there! I'm very proud of you not poas; there was a time (seems like a lifetime ago!) you'd have been well on it! Good for you.

I've just checked back and I think cd13 was more commonly pos opk, but recent couple of months it was cd12. Could be 9 or 10dpo. Grrrr....why does sat seem so far away!

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 07:36

Nothing M33R, literally feel nothing. I haven't used opks in a while but going from past opks I would have got pos opk on cd12 most commonly, once on cd11. I'm now on cd24. So maybe 10dpo? I'd say that's probably right as I don't think I've ever got to 14dpo as af would have arrived by then so sat would be 13dpo when af is due.

I usually get awful cramps with the spotting so always know when it's coming. But I don't feel anything. Maybe my hormones have settled or something and I'm gona get less days spotting. Trying so hard not to get my hopes up! It's so soul destroying then when af arrives and I should know by now not to do this!!!

How are you today M33R?

m33r · 11/06/2014 07:24

Any other symptoms mama? How many dpo are you?

OP posts:
Mam31 · 11/06/2014 07:10

Woke up for immediate crotch watch...still no spotting.....

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 21:05

I've heard that too M33R so hopefully both of you and Onelife get preggers after having a good flush!

Thankyou for you well wishes M33R, I'm trying so hard not to get ahead of myself but will be hopeful as long as the spotting stays away as I've had it for 13 cycles and I am quite surprised not to have it now! I will definately keep you updated daily but it's going to be a long few days!

And yes I see what you mean about using contraception haha! Must have been weird!

m33r · 10/06/2014 20:53

mama my fingers are well crossed! Keep us posited! Daily updates please! FX FX FX

lil good luck with hsg. It was so hard not to ttc this month - using contraception ... What!?!!! Anyway, we managed but I'm just dying for AF to get going again. Think of it this way, lots of people get pg after the hsg as even of nothing is 'wrong' it can give you a good flush. That's what I'm telling myself anyway!

OP posts:
Mam31 · 10/06/2014 20:05

Lil I'm sure you can't wait to get the hsg done and dusted! But it will be over before you know it. Then you can relax for the rest of your cycle and crack on next cycle with your shiny new tubes ;)

Went for a run....still no spotting...if it was there pretty sure it would have been noticeable after my run....(sorry tmi) cruel tricks again I'm sure of it!!!

lil1ady · 10/06/2014 19:41

I'm OK thanks mama. hsg booked for 8.30 Thursday morning then this cycle we aren't allowed to ttc. haven't quite got my head around that bit yet. just hoping I have a nice short cycle this month so we can get back on it asap! I just want the hsg to be here now!

may I like the double appt idea. tell dh you want him to go for support then just be like "oh and we need to discuss dhs results"! or tell him to stop being a jerk. if the Dr wants to see him the 2nd sa may not be necessary. sorry to use Vic's dhs results as an example, but its better to get the answers and move forward, not wait another month and be lower down in the queue! and if the results are fine then great. or if there's something like a low count or motility issue you can take steps to improve it now.

blue I really hope it was ov for you and that these weird symptoms at least mean that if nothing more (although obvs hope it means more!)

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 19:26

And no M33R that is not weird at all lovely xx

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 19:26

Please call me Mama lol I so miss my mama31 name I wish I could get it back!!!

Anyway, M33R I usually spot 5-8 days before af. 5 would be most common. I am due af on sat and no sign of spotting as yet! also no sore boobs which would definately be here by now, but I'm putting that down to my diet as I have read the diet I'm on helps pre af sore boobs.

I know what you mean re the alcohol, sometimes I think I should cut it out completely...and others I think I want to live life while I'm waiting for my bfp. I am trying to be much healthier though and have cut out the coffee which is a big step for me....one step at a time eh?! lol

I know im stupidly getting my hopes up a little bit but I'm 90% certain my body is just playing cruel tricks again...I guess I'll know soon enough x

m33r · 10/06/2014 18:15

mam where are you on cycle compared to usual with spotting etc Etc. Sorry lost track but want to focus on specifics when crossing everything for you (is that weird?!) x

m33r · 10/06/2014 18:12

blueeyes I have long been an advocate of the carry on as normal but I am 20months so have stopped drinking alcohol and coffee and trying to up my and DH's veg/seed/calcium intake. I maintain however that I obvs need all the help I can get and that's why I'm doing it not because I think partaking whilst ttc will damage any baby.

Fwiw, I used to say to people imagine I had stopped drinking 20months ago - all that champagne; all the cocktails, all the celebrations - but now I think, maybe if I had stopped I'd be siting here with a 6month old.

In answer to your question mama it has been very easy and I wonder why I never did it before. I love the theatre and sense of occasion with drinking but have kept that up by drinking my soft drinks out of nice glasses and mixing them up - ginger beer; line and soda etc instead of just copious amounts of diet coke!

But again blueeyes it's a personal choice once made recently and I don't think you'd damage a potential baby!

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 16:30

Blue I'm not sure how it works with the tests, but I'm sure you could poas on the morning of your appointment just to check. Hope it's good news for you!

Still on crotch watch....swore I wouldn't obsess but the lack of spotting/sore boobs is...lets say...making me wonder......

xBlueberry88x · 10/06/2014 16:29

Hi May maybe you just need to tell him the truth.

There could be a significant reason why the doctor has asked for the appointment before the second SA.

Theres no point in him putting it off, its better to find out sooner in case something needs to be done.

If it is nothing brilliant but just in case.

My dp would be the same May although I know he would be mega worried about it which is why he would put it off.

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 16:29

Maybug I would make the appointment for you both to attend GP and tell him that's what you have done because it is having such a negative effect on you emotionally and you feel you both need to speak with GP asap for your own sanity!! Poor you I hope you get an appointment soon as most times the not knowing is worse than the results.

maybug3 · 10/06/2014 16:20

Hi ladies.

Will catch up with all later but really need to vent if you don't mind?

As previously mentioned dh has had a letter from gp telling him to make routine appointment for test result. Dh has insisted on getting 2nd sa done before he'll bother going for results as it won't change anything. Could in all take weeks!
Having had no contact from gp since my bloods I rang to check if results were in. They were but the receptionist was useless and read them out but clearly knew little...One was inconclusive the other satisfactory but she couldn't work out which was which and didn't know if I had to see the gp or not, or whether a re test is needed or not!!!
Useless but now even more worried by dh having to see doctor. Definitively suggests bad news if I could get 'inconclusive' results by phone.

How do I get dh to understand how important this is??? For my sanity even if it doesn't change anything? He really doesn't get how much it effects me. Sleeping even worse than normal and finding it impossible to concentrate at work.

Any advice gratefully received.

xBlueberry88x · 10/06/2014 16:01

Thanks Mama Im only 5 or 6 dpo is the symptoms I had at cd13 ish were ovulation but im trying not to get my hopes up.

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 15:57
