Really angry now!!! Been patiently waiting for our appointment with the fertility clinic to come though since begging another GP to refer us. Just thought I'd call the clinic to see how long the wait was and they've not recieved a referral letter! Sound familiar?! This is the exact same thing that happened with dh's Sa! My blood is boiling right now! Called the GP's and whoever is in charge of referral letters isn't in til monday now so they'll leave them a note to look into it!

This 'journey' is a pile of crap! Doctors actually do not give a damn that they're messing with people's heads! Grrrrrrrrrrr to the lot of them!

Ginger I feel the same about the sex, half the time I have to force myself to do it whilst not letting on to DH that I'd much rather just read my book... I'm CD17 today and should hopefully get my +opk Saturday or Sunday, so will be looking at a weekend shagathon.

Google can really drive you round the bend, but it's hard not to isn't it?

why do I keep googling to find out about ivf in our area. why can't I just be patient and wait until the appt next week. then I wouldn't be so frustrated at finding no bloody answers and more questions! agggghhh!

Hi girls! Long time no speak...i needed a break from driving myself around the bend...I've thought about you all and hoped for good news!

So - since I went back to Dr in June and was told suspected PCOS I've embarked on a low-GI diet in the hope it would reduce my insulin and therefore testosterone levels and induce ovulation. Well - I've had quite a lot of EWCM this week and decided to do an ov test as a one-off (haven't bothered for weeks now) and it was positive! Wow. This is the first time it's been showing positive since we started TTC back in August last year! So, you can guess what's going to be happening in my house tonight!!

I feel pretty surprised but just wanted to say that the low-GI diet thing appears to be working! Hope you're all having a good week so far x x x

Yes I'm keeping busy thanks. Enjoying the summer as much as I can. Looking forward to our holiday to Croatia in late Sept too, but trying not to wish the summer away at the same time!

Hi ladies, no news here. I am reading and catching up with you all, trying and failing not to get too obsessed with it all.
I have been contemplating using a cup and syringe recently. I just can't keep up with all the sex! but wondering if I'm not doing it enough, or early or late enough in my cycle. DH isn't too keen on the idea! Ah well, cycle 14, cd8 today, keep on keeping on....

Not much to report here, I'm on CD14 and expect to ovulate at the weekend or early next week, so will start dtd with intent with my newly purchased Conceive Plus from Wed/Thu.

So I was alsmost resigned that was it, I've had no symptoms for about 3-4 days now - boob swelling and soreness gone, not even as tired. And then last night had a massive fall-out with DH. He'd been out with a mate to watch the football and was pissed when he came home. Fell asleep more or less straight away but woke up an hour or so later in an absolute rage. Was shouting at me for the smallest thing, wss throwing stuff about the room, etc. I ended up shaking and crying for most of the evening...
Have to emphasise that's very much out of character and he was very remorseful afterwards and this morning, but I thought well, even if it had been ok until then, that would have done it... DH was crying that he might have caused another loss...
But guess what, I had my followup blood test today and hcg had doubled up nicely!!! Could that finally be our miracle happening? We are off on holiday on Friday (we really need it!) and will go for a scan out there next week. Should be able to see a HB by then please god! Also have a scan booked for the day after we get back. FX!

There's been a real flurry of announcements for me to the last 3 weeks - 3 closer friends and a further 2 wider friends.
It's a killer every time.
One of my best friends is about to undergo ivf for her second though so at least I have someone who is going through something similar.

My cousin and his wife just announced yesterday, they've been married less than a year :-( Out of 12 cousins there are 2 of us without kids, the other is still single....

...and an ex classmate of mine just announced her pregnancy with a photo of her in a bikini looking slim apart from about 4-5 month bump...

Hi vic, I have been up and down actually. I did some research on what you can see on scans at different stages and 5mm gestational sack is bang on for 5 weeks, so I feel better for that. But still worried about symptoms going away... I know many have no symptoms at all but if you had them and disappeared is no good... keeping fx for blood results tomorrow!
Weirdly, my fertility appointment letter arrived today for 31 July - earlier than I thought... but won't cancel it just yet, just in case...

Sorry to hear about your news blueeyes, I know that feeling well and so does my dh. At least you're already on the waiting list though. We needed everything before they'd even put us on it! Same as you May! My GP seemed to act as though i was making half of it up and was convinced we would conceive. Even when the sa showed pretty much zero chance, she wouldn't refer us. Hence changing doctors!

M33r, is this 1st or 2nd cycle since cleaning out the tubes? Fingers crossed it did something positive!
