maybug they should be able to refer based on ur results and do dhs whilst u wait for appt. I'd push hard! what bloods is ur dh having? my dh has only done sa's and I'm hoping they will do more tests on him but no idea what so don't know what to ask about/demand!

maybug3 · 14/07/2014 13:18

Fingers crossed Laura. X

My'day 21' retest has shown even lower levels than last time so waiting to see what the gp says. Everything just takes so long. Dh having a blood test this week and 2nd sa next week so until those are results are in gp won't make the fertility referral. Driving me mad!

m33r · 14/07/2014 12:55

Thanks everyone. Still getting AF symptoms and still not late but 15dpo today and multiple positive tests... Keep everything crossed. Xx

Yay m33r - so so pleased for you! At last! Amazing news! xxx

Victoria - one of my pet hates are people who have a job, and don't do it!! So frustrating feels like leaving all your world in their hands and that they couldn't really give a crap :(

Well - since the +ve ov tests (2 days running then fading so def no fluke) I've had pains daily on my right side - can't figure if it's constipation or something else, and really sensitive nipples and hoo-ha (soz TMI!)...also I'd been having spots on my chin loads and they've all cleared up and had no others! I've now got to wait it out til at least Friday to do a test I'm practically driving myself to distraction! Do I feel different? Am I just symptom-spotting? ARGGGHHHHH!!!!

maybug3 · 13/07/2014 21:16

Congratulations m33r.
It really is great to have some good news on this thread and remind us all that it will eventually happen. Enjoy every minute. X

Nonconformist34 · 13/07/2014 20:34

Congrats m33r, so pleased for you and your partner. It must be so surreal when you've waited for so long? Brilliant to have some great news on here!

I've been MIA for a bit but keep popping in to see how everyone is doing!Completely missed my ovulation this month I think (forgot to check the calendar!) and only managed to dtd on the day/day after so really pissed off with myself. We have out first fertility appt at the hospital in 3 weeks so will keep you posted.

ELA88 · 13/07/2014 20:18

Congrats m33r! Am really pleased for you! Gives me hope that it might actually happen for me one day! Hopefully sooner rather than later! Xxx

m33r · 13/07/2014 15:00

m33r · 13/07/2014 00:41

Hang in there lil. Hopefully the 'flush' will work. Try to think that this month you chances are increased...

No surprises I'm awake... Having AF cramps but have googled (for last three hours!!) and that seems quite normal. Wish it was the morning so I could test again. Also wish I'd got a first response...

Welcome ela!

sorry I've been mia girls.

m33r that is fantastic news! so so pleased for you.take each day as it comes. don't worry about darkness, a line is a line!

Vic I had an awful feeling this was going to happen again when u said still no appt the other day. I'd go in there in Monday and refuse to leave until I had the referral letter in my hand to post myself. then I'd hand deliver it to the clinic. but that's just me! I'm not surprised your blood is boiling. definitely complain at the highest level, smd definitely chase daily!

feeling deflated here even tho its a new month post hsg and only cd8. hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

m33r · 12/07/2014 18:18

Thanks all. I won't be convinced until I have a darker line or something on a digi but I'm not cracking the digi open just yet... Will keep you all posted

I pressed for tests after 15 months trying. I don't have as much time on my side though as I'm 34. They take bloods on various days to check you ovulate and they send your partner for a sperm analysis. If inconclusive they might send you for a pelvic and/or transvaginal ultrasound. Me and dh have also been tested for every std under the sun too! Nice to know we don't have any! Oh, I think they also test your iron levels and thyroid function at the start too.

ELA88 · 12/07/2014 16:53

Hey victoria no I haven't been to the GP yet, I'm currently changing doctors so will do when I register at the new surgery. What sort of things will they send us to have tests for? To be honest looking back, the last 18 months has gone very quickly, each month saying "we'll try for one more month!" But never actually seeing anyone about it, think it probably is time to now! Xx

victoria401 · 12/07/2014 16:26

Welcome to the group ELA88. Have you asked the doc for any tests yet? You're entitled to after 12 months x

I think our GP has applied for fertility treatment funding as we had a copy of a letter. But I thought the fertility consultant was meant to do that after you'd been referred. I'm wondering now if he applied and we failed the criteria as we're still under 2 years by 3 months. I pressed for early referral as we had a diagnosis but our local CCG states 2 years trying. I wish he would have told us if we failed and needed to wait a few more months. Then at least we'd know!

Enjoy your weekends girls. I'm up the in laws eating cake. At least MIL doesn't ask us about kids any more as we've told her the score now.

victoria401 · 12/07/2014 16:16

Omg! So excited for you m33r! Looks like your tubes got flushed after all! Self indulge away! I usually do! Lol.I hope this is it for you now! Keep us informed x x

Metalhead · 12/07/2014 15:40

Huge congratulations m33r, how exciting! Try not to stress about how dark your lines are, it really depends on so many factors (not least the type of test) that it is not an indication of anything being wrong.

ELA88 · 12/07/2014 15:11

Hey ladies! Thought I would finally join another room to say hi! I've only really been in temping buddies for the past few months! I'm 26, TTC#1 and just coming to the end of cycle 18. Do you ever sometime feel like all the 2ww's and fertile days just blur into one long emotional period of time?!
Congrats on your BFP m33r! Xxx

xBlueberry88x · 12/07/2014 11:51

m33r how exciting congrats hun.

Try not to worry to much live in the moment you are pregnant Grin

im only 10dpo and already trying to not get excited that I have mega tender boobs and loadsa spots on my face which I never have!!

m33r · 12/07/2014 10:40

Girls! I am 13dpo. I have 3 feint positives this morning. After 20 loooong months of hell... I'm trying to keep calm. I have a 20dpi test and digi for tomorrow. I am so up and down.

This month we did everything: reflexology; laparoscopy; grapefruit juice; preseed; pre concept vits (2.5 months); off alcohol and coffee; dtd 2 days before ov; 2 days of pos opk - dtd both days; dtd one day after ov.

I really really hope this is it!

Symptoms - I've had an upset stomach a few mornings and had two very vivid dreams I had a baby so much so it took me a while after I woke up to know it wasn't real. This morning I have AF cramps and I am terrified!!! Nothing else.

Cross everything. As I'm 13dpo and used FMU I would've expected them to be darker but my lp is 16 days so don't know of that makes a difference ??

vic sorry for self indulgent post. I cann't believe your doc has let you down again. Here they've been great and it's made such a difference to me and DH. I agree, you need to write a polite but VERY ASSERTIVE letter to nhs.

OP posts:
maybug3 · 11/07/2014 21:34

Can't believe they've done it to you again Victoria! You need to put in a complaint with the patient care people. My brother who works for the nhs days that if you have genuine cause for complaint it's well worth doing because thereafter staff make loads of effort with you to prevent any further complaints.
And you definitely have a genuine cause!!

Metalhead · 11/07/2014 16:05

That's terrible victoria, but sadly not surprising. Agree with blueberry, I'd chase them up again next week to make sure this time the letter gets sent and maybe ask if they can bump you up the list to make up for their cock-up.

xBlueberry88x · 11/07/2014 15:12

Vicky god doctors really are shit aren't they I cant believe they have done this to you again.

I guess you really cant trust them, id call them again on Monday if I was you just to make sure the message gets through.
