Ladies can you tell me what to expect from a HSG im nervous.

Im booked for next Wednesday.

No news with me really. Hycosy was supposed to be this month but was cancelled due to staff leave at the hospital! So have to reschedule next month. Have had scan of ovaries no issues. Was told however that I have a tilted womb which means missionary position (as we've been doing for 15 cycles ttc) is not the best option, due to the tilt. I have googled and apparently I should be doing doggy style and lying on my front for 15mins rather than my back. So we are hoping so much that this has been the issue and DH is loving the new position for ttc ;) that's my update ladies. Haven't had time to read back everything I've missed but I hope so much you are all doing ok, keep the faith, never lose hope and remain positive...as M33R has done so...and there you have it....RESULT :) :) :)

Dr 1 actually called me about an hour ago! Apologized for not referring us in the first place, read hubby's sa wrong apparently. She rang the clinic to get advice on what was a bad result, and oh yes, it was! Funny that! She also admitted that Dr 2 was wrong in writing to the funding dept instead of the clinic as the clinic does the funding part not the GP! Anyway she said she was filling it in and it would be sent off asap....

Then 5 mins later she said, when is my next period due as I need my day 2 repeated! I could have done that lastmmonth! So now I need to wait another week for that and then she can send off referral! At least I'm due next week not actually just finished it or something and had 3 more weeks to wait! Sigh! GP's are crap!

Vicky funny you say that my gynae asked me to get day 2 and day 21 again this month just to see if there any change so ive had day 2 today will have to wait and see.
Hopefully you manage to get dr3 to get you referred id be shouting at them by now

Not heard from docs yet about whether Dr 3 is referring us. Lost the fight in me for today, I'll call tomorrow.

I think I still haven't ov'd as I had another +opk this morning (third day in a row!) so will have to persuade DH to dtd again tonight (urgh). I'm so fed up with having to do it when I don't really want to, and then the constant mood swings from hope to despair... I might try and persuade myself this month that it's not going to happen anyway, maybe that will soften the blow when AF shows up.

on to cycle 16 grrrrr af turned up 2 days early yesterday cried for an hour!!

Right, called the docs again! Case has been passed to Dr no.3 as Dr no.2 is on hol. Dr no.1 was the one who didn't think we could be referred early, hence going to Dr no.2. Hope Dr no.3 doesn't think same as no.1 or I'll be speaking to no.3 when he returns! Apparently someone will contact me later to say if referral has been done. Yeah right, I'll be phoning them again tomorrow I bet. If they don't call me back or if they refuse to refer then I'll make a complaint, otherwise I'll forgive and forget.

Ooh ok! It was weird really, I've had dry mouth for last three days and not really thought about it! Then searched it thinking it was to so with ov only to find re pg symptom! Pains in side have gone but feel knackered...did the test earlier but was a bfn but I'm not that concerned yet as I'll just try again next week in case I was too early - I reckon I may only be 7dpo so bit of wishful thinking! Hope you're feeling fab!! X

I have no idea when af due as haven't had it since December! Bought a first response test on way home but dunno when to take it - have a feeling DH may have to strap me down not to give it a go tonight!! Dry mouth still here, no metal taste but tongue tingling. Knowing my luck it's onset of diabetes or something totally unrelated but I can live with small hope for a bit longer...

Victoria AF due on Thursday.

I have little bit of a red tinge when I wipe today and some cramping, plus dizzy and my boobs have hurt for a week.

I hope AF isnt coming early!!

I put a covering letter in with the copy of that other letter saying to call me if referral was going through or if there were more problems. I will call the docs again on my afternoon teabreak to make sure somethings been done with it. I'm not sure who I complain to though :-(

Ha, that's a new one on me too Laura! I think I'll join you in symptom spotting, I should ov today and have thrown everything at it this month (Conceive Plus, pillow under bum, sex eod...).

That is just shit Victoria. You'd think in this day and age with email, fax etc there would be no need for things to get lost en route! I hope you get a referral quickly now.

Good god. Just googled 'dry mouth and ovulation' to find it can be a very early pg symptom. News to me! Definitely symptom spotting now for another 10 days!

Vic I'm so sorry you are having this added stress at an already stressful time. are you going to complain? like I said, I'd be stood in there until the referral letter was done! you need to be pushy with these bastards now and fight for what u deserve and are entitled to.

Called the docs today, apparently GP applied for funding and they were waiting for a reply. However, we got a letter from the funding people, well a copy of a letter sent to GP. The GP never got his copy. Dated June 17th. So we had to photocopy our letter and take it to the docs, they are now going to find another GP to refer us as our GP is on his hols. Here we go again, back to the start!

Fingers crossed Laura and good luck trying to get docs to refer you may. I've no idea what qualifies as enough now I've been through this crap. Its not easy!

its hard may cos u start off feeling u don't want to be too forward in case they don't take u seriously but u don't want to get walked over! I think if uve got results showing there is an issue its time they sent u to the specialists! poor Vic's experience shows u have to keep on top of them. any news today Vic?

He was told because the count was so low they had to check there were no underlying conditions causing it. Not sure specifically what they are looking for.
You're right I think I do need to push on the referral now. I've already had more tests than most before the referral and I just hate how slow it all is.
