ShowOfSeveredHands · 03/10/2006 23:55

Just a quickie before I go to bed. I posted on my other thread, but I'm back from the hospital after 7 hours of waiting and thank God, I have a viable pg, complete with beating heart.

Thank you for thinking of me you wonderful and lovely women. You are some of the most selfless and thoughtful people I have ever had the privelege of 'knowing'.

Wow Trace, what fab news!!! Congratulations.

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 13:54

Been trying since July 05 and this is my first month on clomid as i was not ovualting before so temps charts 1 and 2 are all over the place.

Good luck for Thursday. x

ShowOfSeveredHands · 03/10/2006 13:32

Have an antenatal appointment on Thurs and they're referring me then for a scan. I'm very nervous, just want to see a heartbeat.

Your chart looks much better this month (had a nose at your previous ones) and your temp's back up today which is a good sign. How long have you been ttc?

PS ignore my name, it's changed for Halloween!

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 12:17

8 weeks how exciting have you had an early scan?

here is my temps

ShowOfHands · 03/10/2006 10:39

Hi Natty,

I'm 8 wks pg.

No, seeing it written down still doesn't make it seem real.

What's your temp like today?

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 10:01

Thanks SOH you ladies are so sweet.

How many weeks are you now SOH?

ShowOfHands · 03/10/2006 09:54

Wannabe, it's futile really isn't it? You convince yourself you won't work yourself up this time and it's like having somebody sitting on your shoulder going 'oh God don't look behind you, it's incredible, I've never seen anything like it. Stunning. But don't look'. Of course we're going to bloody look. It's just a pita when you turn round and there's nothing there, or even worse your fave aunt flo's arrived, it looks like she's staying and she's brought a load of Neil Sedaka CDs with her.

I really have lost the plot this morning. If you understand my analogy maybe you can explain it back to me.

ShowOfHands · 03/10/2006 09:48

Morning all.

Pussycat, it's lovely to have you back after your jiggery pokery. Make sure you take the time to recuperate properly and on with the charting (it's easy, really it is- you take your temp every day, it is low before you ovulate and high afterwards. If it stays high you're pg, if it goes low again, af is on its way. Coupled with knowing your fertile signs it means you know when you can get pg and whether you've managed it. It's cheap too!). Anyway, here's hoping that it's your time soon!

Trace- my dh has confiscated my thermometer as it scares the life out of me when there's any fluctuations (and obviously there are loads as I'm pg and stressy and not sleeping properly). Chuck it away, you're pg and what will be will be.

Oi Natty, you're going nowhere.

I know how frustrated you feel and maybe a few days break from MN is fine, but don't make it a permanent break, you never know when you'll need the support. And personally I can't wait to congratulate you when you get your bfp!

Coggy, woo hoo! Your LP is fantastic. It's a bugger about af, but it's amazing how things are improving for you.

MrsMcJnr, how's you today? Your charts look like mine! They go up and down all over the shop after ov but stay above the coverline. Don't forget that they can fluctuate enormously for lots of reasons. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Andi- you pg person you! How far on are you? Commiserations on the sore boobs, I have substituted my boobs for rocks. Painful rocks that are expanding by the day. Got a wee bump too, dh is convinced it's twins. He's not funny. Got my first antenatal appt on Thurs and the midwife's referring me for an early scan. Scary stuff!

Anyway, hope everybody's well and doing something far more exciting than me. At work all day, but going to see one of my fave singers tonight. I'll probably fall asleep but I'm excited nonetheless.

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 09:42

Thanks for the reassurance PCM.

You right wannabe i would probably of kept popping back on to see how everyone is anyway and then get drawn into the conversation. Hope AF stays away for you.

x

wannaBe1974 · 03/10/2006 09:36

morning all

Natty you can't leave we all need each other . And besides, I found from my own personal experience that the decision to leave is futile, because there's always that desire to just have a quick look see how everyone is and before you know it you're commenting on things and then the whole idea of leaving seems silly. I've lost count of the number of times I've said I was going to leave because it's not going to happen, now I just think that I'm better just admitting that I can't ever leave :O.

Coggy so so sorry about af, hope you're ok, feel free to email me any time [email protected] if ever you feel the need .

Pussycat glad you're feeling so positive about things. Will you have to have day 21 test this month to see if there are any improvements etc? do you have follow-up appointments? And how is your sister doing - is she going for more IVF cycles? I will email you some time soon .

Trace so glad that things are more positive for you, and I think your dh is right to tell you to stop temping now, so, have a chocolate or 10 and feel that warm positive glow

Well I'm on cd24 today and my god I swore I was going to stop doing this but ... last week I had extremely sore boobs, so sore that I could bearly touch them, in fact there's a thread about it on here somewhere. But now they're fine - no soreness at all. Now if i remember rightly, didn't logalot or someone have similar and get her bfp that month? as in, she posted she had sore boobs and then posted a couple days later that they weren't any more so obviously false alarm and then she got a bfp? or tell me I'm being silly if ya like lol. But I also had af-type cramps for a couple of days - although these do seem to have stopped as well now. Didn't temp this month as was on holiday etc so that's not an indicator --- oh i wish I didn't do this every month - I'm sure my af will probably arrive on Saturday/sunday/whenever it feels like it :O.

pussycatmomma · 03/10/2006 09:27

not to worry, you all busy, will try and catch you later x

pussycatmomma · 03/10/2006 09:04

hiya trace, thought i would pop on before i go in bath. So pleased for you darling, that everything is going ok. We must try and meet up soon. I saw Corianders pic of her Jack the other day, hes stunning, doesnt look like a newborn, looks like he has the wisdom of the world in his little face already. I am giving you a mission now lady, can you help me with this charting business? Like i said before i am rubbish with figures and numbers. What do i do, when do i do it, wheres the chart etc. If you not allowed to chart any more, then you can be my charting guru. Gyny already told me not to use opk's as not reliable, and also would be putting pressure back on myself. Me and dh already decided we just gonna try and bd every day (!)whenever poss , just to increase our chances, but it wont hurt me to have a bit of extra info. Knowledge is power and all that.
Also a little special hello to coggy, i think (hope) i am being paranoid, but i havent offended or upset you at all have i? I just tried to chat with you other night, but has been playing on my mind. Please let me know if i have said anything to offend you or if something i have said is not right.
Trace, let me know about charts.
Hi to everyone else.
Glad you are staying Natty. Laparoscopy is not to be feared, you will be absolutely fine, like someone else said, general anasthetic is worst bit, but at least when you have had it done you will know where you are a bit more with things. It will either put your mind at rest, or at least get things going in the right direction.
hugs to all xxxxxxxxxx
