pussycatmomma · 13/09/2006 15:53

any tests or anything like that yet?
Sorry to hear about your mis...
how olds your dh? Mind you they say men can go on forever dont they!

Angsthase · 13/09/2006 15:51

2 years next month. One m/c in May this year.

((((Ang distracts PCM while surreptitiously putting had under cushion in search of minstrels))))

pussycatmomma · 13/09/2006 15:42

mmmm, i imagine a shift system like that is pretty screwy. How long have you been trying?
(((((pusscat eases a cushion over minstrels in bid to stop them completly disappearing ....))

Angsthase · 13/09/2006 15:39

You can call me what you like luv as long as you let me in the minstrels bag . Maltesers just aren't as naughty
Coggy has taken to calling me Juicy Lucy, which I am thinking as taking as my new name! Angsthase was a spur of the moment thing when I joined up, but I think everyone has problems spelling it!

Almost wish I had a reason for not getting PG. The only excuses I have are 1) age and 2) DH working on shift pattern (3 weeks home / 2 weeks away), which unless you have a 35 day cycle which falls at the right time, totally screws with TTC!!

pussycatmomma · 13/09/2006 15:32

think i meant malteasers

pussycatmomma · 13/09/2006 15:31

hiya angsthaste.......for some reason i find it really difficult to pronounce your name!! bizarre! could i just call you Aggie? Budge up on the sofa, ive got half an hour
Didnt know i had pcos thing until very recently. But blood tests and scan both confirmed.
Funnily enough i feel less stressed and pressured now i know what is wrong, and that its not just me sending myself and dh round the bend every month when i get af. I think it is helping me not to blame myself, thinking we arent doing it enough or at right times etc. Cant wait to have the surgery over and done with ! im like, just give me the drugs!! i need to breed!
((((pusscat proffers a bag of minstrels in aggies direction))))tis after all the lighter way to enjoy chocolate

Angsthase · 13/09/2006 15:26

Don't have PCOS, PCM, but am just as impatient

pussycatmomma · 13/09/2006 15:14

by the way, anyone else on the list have pcos? just wondering.....
((taps fingers impatiently on edge of sofa waiting for others to arrive)))

bonjour fellow sofa girlies
hiya coggy, does that mean my "short" posts drag on a bit then?
Tis a tad embarrassing about gyny being so damn hot, never mind the freaky cyst, but hey ho, such is life and all that.
Have i missed anything? Well, have I?
Just thought id loiter for a mo and see if anyone was around. While Im here, ill try adding my stats.........hang on a mo.
By the way, anyone know when trace due back?

coggy · 13/09/2006 13:03

Hi PCM.....glad you're back from the cows and all!!!

You're not on the stats list 'cos we have each copied it...added our bit....and pasted.

We want to know all of your vital statistics...so we'll leave you to add yourself when you're next reclining here.

Cyst.........hmmmmm!
Try not to think about it.
Someone I know had one and the thought made me feel a bit ill....but it's pretty common and, when you think about it, amazing that our bodies actually 99% of the time get it right.

LOL at your short post too!!!!!!

Andi - I hope you don't have to see your cons. again either!

Angsthase · 13/09/2006 10:53

Andi - Royal Jelly is supposed to improve general health, but especially fertility (Queen Bee and all that).

It also aspires to improve your skin, hair and nails. The stuff I take is in liquid form and you take one phial every morning. It's not cheap though.

Will let you know if I notice a difference once I've been taking it more than for a couple of weeks - and hell lets face it if I do fall pg this month you may all want to try it LOL!

PCM - 5.15 starts, makes me yawn just thinking about it! Very for your consultant though. Mine is about as friendly as a slap in the face.

Hopes to self

Babymad4num3 · 13/09/2006 07:49

Morning ladies!
Is any one in here testing this week!?
And how is everyone!?

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 07:22

Glad you back PCM.

Nice to know you get on with your gyne so well, really hope it all works out for you.

I will watch out for you in future on channel 4 or maybe the discovery channel. LOL

Hope the hob nobs were nice i am donating all the haribo sweets as i can't stop eating them, anyway off to work. oh the joys!!!!

pussycatmomma · 12/09/2006 22:48

hellloooooooooo! hiya everyone, i am back.......
For those of you who have forgotten me already, have been at my parents all week looking after their farm while they have been on a little holiday. So after 5.15 starts, looking after their cattle, sheep, hens and geriatric labradors i am back in the land of the living and ready to settle down on the mumsnet old gals sofa!
Scuse if this post is a bit short, typed a fab, long post out and then naughty computer went and lost the bloody thing, and am just about to go in bath.
Couldnt read all posts, but i figure as we all know each other, its a bit like going back to work after a break, im sure if there is any juicy goss i shall be filled in asap and if it doesnt come up in convo then its not worth knowing
Gosh am i ready for a chat and a glass of vino! nibbles anyone??
Not much to report from my end, just that the gyny bloke rang me again - we are already on first name terms and at this rate i'll be having a spray tan and a brazillian before i go in for my "procedures" at the end of the month!!! Its his fault, he has a sexy lilt to his voice, plus he is obviously the answer to my prayers and with a bit of jiggery pokery he will help us get pregnant!!! Anyway , apparently now when i go in for lap and dye, plus ovarian drilling, he has now decided he will be removing the 2 cysts on my ovaries, one of which he described as a dermoid cyst. Apparently may contain hair, bone, teeth, skin or grease.............EUGH!!!!!!!! So of course i google it and now feel like a complete freak of nature about to be filmed for some bizarre channel 4 documentry!!!
So, as i make light of things and try and make you all laugh, im secretly feeling het up and worried, but also cant wait to get it over and done with ..........keep thinking quicker its done, quicker i might get to actually have a chance at being pregnant!!!!!
By the way ((((stern teacher voice even though am not a teacher))))), Where was I on the stats list earlier??
A-hem, i did start the whole caboodle back in jan you know!
Anyway for now, i know its late and no ones around, but will hopefully chat tomorrow.
((((((pusscat slinks down on to sofa under the poorly blanket and reaches for the chocolate hobnobs)))))))))))
love and hugs to all x x x x x x x x

coggy · 12/09/2006 19:46

Fab news Pinky.
I never seem to get a holiday timed well with ttc!
It always seems to be when DH is on night shift or on a (fairly rare) boozy night out!!!

Booboo....good to hear from you me old mate.
How are you doing?
I know what you mean about the old bleaching thing...never done it myself but seen a few bad ones in my time.
If it got bad enough to do anything really serious then I'd pay to get it sizzled off that's for sure!!

Ahem.........I mean my friend would.

And Andi....will you stop humming that tune or I will have to get you removed from this sofa!!

Natty1806 · 12/09/2006 18:59

Pinkranger - glad i am not the only person who was exciting about getting her AF this week. x

Boo - are your 15 weeks now? MS stopped? do you have a bump or is it too soon? when do people normally start to show?

Hope everyone else is well.

Nothing exciting to report from me. x

andi0411 · 12/09/2006 16:33

ps- hi angsth- what does royal Jelly do and when / how much do you take?

TIA

andi0411 · 12/09/2006 16:31

Hi ladies-

Pink- glad your af is here- now you can get down to business- iykwim? i felt like you and SOH- it was so good to get my bod back to 'normal' etc- though it still hurts in my heart etc

Booboo- lol about Magnum- thats a ...nice touch!!!i can hear the theme tune now.....

Pink- i'll be having a small wedding, not up to a big ' do' -looking forward to planning s'thing other than ttc- who knows i may have a baby carrier round my dress--lol- or a bump- aarrgh!!!!

pinkranger · 12/09/2006 13:28

i know soh , never thought i would ever be this excited by AF!

ShowOfHands · 12/09/2006 13:22

Ooh Pinkranger, that's fab news. I was just as excited after my m/c when af showed up. And like you I ovulated on our holiday a couple of weeks later. Unfortunately DH developed man-flu and coughed spluttered and snored his way through the holiday. We did zero BD as a consequence!

Glad to hear you are getting back to normal.

It is quiet on here isn't it? Where is everybody?

pinkranger · 12/09/2006 12:58

Very quiet today , everyone enjoying the sunshine?!!

I am very excited today as my Af is on her way ( I know that sounds stupid) but it will be my first one since M/c so i know that everything is going back to normal and i know my cycle days again!
Also means that that when i go away for the weekend with DH at end of september i will be CD17!!!!! That when i OV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant belive how excited about this i am!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you are all well

Nicee to see you boo , hows the MS

Booboobedoo · 12/09/2006 12:31

Hi everyone.

Just popped in to see how you're all doing, and chuckling to myself about coggy's friend's half-moustache. Hehhehheh.

I trim mine back to the skin with nail scissors twice a week (it's pretty light anyway). I've got a friend who bleaches hers. The thing is, she's really hairy coz of PCOS, and when the light's shining on her it does look a bit.. well... Magnum P.I.

pinkranger · 11/09/2006 16:45

Hi ladies, Just dropped in to say hi , off shopping to bluewater in a miute so wontbe on long.
Wedding oz andi - that sounds fab , i got married 24th sept last year and it was one of the best days of my life!!!!!!!! Enjoy the prep , we had a smallish wedding and that made it all less stressful!
Trace - logging on while away

Angsthase · 11/09/2006 16:37

Sounds like you're about where I am with all the extras. Think I'll start rattling soon

I've not tried the flaxseed though. What's that for?

I'm also taking Royal Jelly. Don't know if that will help or not.
