Pussycatmomma you are so lovely! And I love that description of pregnancy. I am most definitely decorating with a frenzy!

JuicyLucy, I am so very sorry for your family, especially your dsis. Wishing you lots of love and strength at this very sad time. What a terrible thing to happen. I am pleased about your other news and hope that you find a few moments to reflect on that too. A very good friend of dh's passed away on the day I got my bfp and it is such a terrible irony I know. Thinking of you!

Coggy, Monday? eeeekkkk! How are you feeling about it? (time to take your fingers out of your ears?! )

Just to let you know I got a BFP this am.

Want to be happy but can't (see pos sept thread)

Won't be moving over to antinatal threads for a while as can't face it.

I'll be back on next week...

coggy · 21/09/2006 22:24

Hiya Pussycat.
Before I waffle on about myself (?!) I won't be around at the end of next week so I do hope all goes well with you and your op.
X

My situation (in brief!!!) is.....
TTC for nearly 5 years for my DS....unexplained infertility...all tests okay so put on clomid while I went on a 12 month waiting list for IUI treatment.

Took 3 months of clomid...stopped for a month's break and fell pg!
Healthy pregnancy & baby but DS was stillborn due to a knot in his cord.

Started TTC soon after he was born as we knew it had taken such a flippin' long time to get him.
Lots of people also said that we would be extra fertile like they say after a m/c too.

That was 16 months ago!!
Back on the clomid for another three months (this is my last 'allowed' month).
Found out by using MN and OPKs, CM etc. that I have a short luteal phase...average 8 days...and that the clomid helped lengthen that....but as nobody knew about it last time it was just a very fortunate side effect!!!

Was supposed to see the consultant in August 2005 to discuss going back on IUI waiting list (which was then 18 months) and I have FINALLY got my appointment with him on Monday!!!!
So I will have one or two questions for him as you can imagine!!!
I have never actually met him in all this time!!!

Sorry.....this was supposed to be the short version!
And actually it is!!!!!

So we get to meet our cons. on Monday and discuss IUI with the nurse on the smae day.....two appointments.

pussycatmomma · 21/09/2006 21:32

hiya to all....
soh, lovely to hear from you. Sorry the pg tiredness is feeling overwhelming for you just now. If it is any consolation at all, my best friend in rl was just the same. She also had terrible sickness for first 6mths or so, but at first the tiredness was deffo the worst. Just keep reminding yourself and dh that there is an awful lot going on in there at the mo - no wonder you are knacked! Think of it as a beautiful room being decorated, at the moment the dust sheets are on and its a bit of a chore, but heavens, when those dust sheets come off in nine months, you wont be able to stop looking at the gorgeous creation you have made.
Sorry to go on......in the meantime feel free to dribble ( and pass a bit of choccy orange, im very pmt-ish right now) By the way sorry to hear about your cat...im sure you are giving her the best care you can right now, its awful when they are poorly, you just feel so responsible. btw, agree on the her diet, think rich treats would not do her any favours.
Trace.....thanks so much for last night chick, you kept me going.
Coggy....hiya hun, hope all going well sweetie, sorry didnt come on last night after i had tried to summon someone. Am i right in thinking you have an appointment coming up with your consultant/gyny? I am not sure of your situ/diagnosis , could you remind me?
I am going to great lengths to "take my mind off things" by keeping busy at the moment. Have spent all evening painting the lounge. Been doing it a few days, just have the woodwork to paint now. Am hoping to finish it all before next thurs (as Trace said, in for op[scared emoticon}
chat soon to all my sofa buddies
((((big hugs))))) pusscat x x x

Really Mrs McJnr? All Sheba seems to want is tuna and ham but DH says not to as it will make her worse (too much protein for her kidneys to cope with).

MrsMcJnr · 21/09/2006 15:38

SOH - not got long but just wanted to say I am really sorry about your cat. I lost my precious puss to that last year. Her case was really far gone but I have heard of others that last a long time on the pills. All I would say is to give her/him anything he/she wants to eat as the important thing is that they are eating and drinking. I had mine on Complan and tiger prawns!

ShowOfHands · 21/09/2006 14:28

Oh poor pussycat, tell her to keep posting, there are so many people out there rooting for her.

Natty- dammit!- I'm not supposed to tell people about dh's job. He's an infrequent international postman if anybody asks. Uniform included, company sleigh.

trace2 · 21/09/2006 14:12

sho sooo glad you still come and see us on our sofa (even though you fall asleep on us we must bore you) i spoke to pusstcay last nite on msn, she is a bit down she goes in hospital next week for the drilling so i think she may need our surport more than ever now

I've updated my web chart.......interesting that my temps went down to 36.4 on the day of ov this cycle and last.

You definitely need a few months data to begin to see a pattern.

trace2 · 20/09/2006 21:35

so you ovulated yesterday same as meeeeeeeeee

OP posts:
coggy · 20/09/2006 21:26

coggy · 20/09/2006 21:25

I'm here if you're still around pussycat.

No Natty...I just saw Natty1806.
I couldn't believe it when all that stuff of mine popped up on screen!!!
Why would they do that???!!!!

Anyway.....verdicts anyone?
Am I just a temping phenomenom(?) then or what?

pussycatmomma · 20/09/2006 21:05
