hiya everyone, just wanted to say a big Well Done to Coggy for getting through her cons appointment. I am just gonna go look up IUI as i know v. little about it but promise to be a little better informed next time we may "chat".
Juicy - My thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family. I hope the funeral goes smoothly and allows you all to grieve and maybe to say Goodbye. Meanwhile, Take care of yourself and look after your little bump-to-be. We are all rooting for you.
Hiya sex-on-legs, good to hear from you, we have never chatted much but lots of good luck to you
Trace - hiya hunny bunny, how are you? Hope you ok, tried you earlier on msn, but no answer.
In case i dont get chance to come on again, i am going to hosp on thurs for my ovarian drilling, cyst removals, and lap and dye. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!
am v. scared but want to get it over and done with, in the hope of better things to come
I so want to be able to begin my family.
I know we all do.
We just have to keep hoping dont we?
In continued effort to "take my mind off things" i have now completly re-decorated lounge, hall and landing upstairs, made curtains and put up new blinds, met my target at work by 100%, started budgeting and turned an overdraft into an "underdraft" (), re-worked my whole work wardrobe at primart for the very princley sum of £39 ((((BARGAINS!!!!)))and generally have been going into "burn-out" mode in effort to cope.........
Roll on Friday when it will all be over. Hopefully i'll be on mn afterwards as i might have a couple of days off to recuperate.
By the way, af arrived today after a particularly horrendous pmt fuelled weekend, so am on day 1 of what will hopefully the cycle to change all cycles. Herses hoping......
sorry if i missed anyone off the hellos earlier.

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 22:17

What is CM suppose to be like after OV?

coggy · 25/09/2006 22:08

Thank you babymad.

Natty...meant to say....I'll now have three months clear to finally use the fertility monitor!!!
That has turned into an epic hasn't it??!!

My AF is due on Saturday...while we are away....so I'll have to take it with me and do some reading up ready to go!!!!
I'll let you know.

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 20:46

Coggy I'm so glad you felt happy coming from there, stress free Christmas worth it's weight in gold, and you never know trying o'naturally might surprise you, here's hoping! Wish you all the luck in the world chick!

coggy · 25/09/2006 20:20

Hi.....Thank you all for your positive thoughts today.
It went really well and I even feel okay about having to inject myself!!!
I am amazed!!!

wannaBe....very good to have you back.
I'm glad you had a good time and sorry that AF came once again.
Grrrrrrrr!

The nurse today was lovely and said I could start treatment whenever I wanted to.
So I think we are going to go for it in January.
This gives me a couple fo months for clomid to get out of my system (and a couple of extra months to try naturally - as this is what happened last time so here's hoping.......!!) and I can also enjoy a stress-free christmas.

I got given a nice plum coloured bag with my own needles, syringes and stuff in......almost worth the treatment!!! LOL!
DH says he's going to use it for a shoe-bag...but it's far too nice for that!!!
I even get my own little personal sharps-bin to put my needles in every day!!!!
Cool!!

I'm so glad I'm can always look on the bright side!!!

Actually...I felt really happy when I came out....no pressure to begin before we are ready and the consultant was nice too.

Phew.....
......any questions????!!!!!

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 17:09

Mrsmc just wanted to say good luck with the house thing -I'm sure you're doing the right thing...and from the sounds of it you're doing it for the right reasons.

Juicy- so sorry it's all got to drag on for so long for your poor sis and you and your family- my thoughts are with you.x

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 16:21

Thanks Natty Hope your DH makes you smile this evening

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 14:25

Yeah i am okay now, thanks Booboo, think it makes us slighlty unrational all this ttc lark and timings.

How you doing?

JL - will be keeping my legs in the air and singing along ' swiw up spunk, come on spunky make me a baby' i am not mad - really!!

Mrs- 5 bedrooms, can see why you are bless you, but hey moving to spain seems like a great plan and the fact that it could happen means you are just at the beginning of the plan/journey so best of luck to you and i am sure your 2 bed flat is fab. x

Booboobedoo · 25/09/2006 13:50

Hi: just popping on to say coggy, I'm thinking of you today, and will pop on later to see the full report (if you've got the energy).

Natty: I used to have rows like that all the time with my DH when we were TTC: hope you're ok now.

Congratulations SKBF

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 12:57

Wannabe - the autopsy was inconclusive, so we have to await test results - at least 8 weeks followed by inquest which will probably not conclude until the beginning of 2007. All of which is dreadful for my sister.

wannaBe1974 · 25/09/2006 12:48

jl so sorry for your loss, have just caught up on this thread, have doctors offered any explanation as to why it happened? I do hope that you can all find some closure too

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 12:33

I know what you mean about it being hard when your family are far away, I am sure your sister knows that you are there for her though .

Re moving, it's a bit of a long story, so I won't bore you with it all but suffice to say, the house is a real money drain and we have a flat too that we rent out so we think it would be better to move back there and stop worrying about money as much all the time. It also means that the dream of moving to Spain might become a reality if we pay off things quicker. We also feel that if we want a family, we have to move or else we just cannot do it financially. I love the house and I'll miss the garden and all the space (we have 5 bedrooms at the mo!) but the flat is also lovely, spacious, 2 beds in the centre of Edinburgh and it was our first love nest so I am sure we'll be happy there again.

Job front is a bit stressful but I have a make or break meeting next week and I'll take action after that if necessary!

Take care of you (and mini JL2) x

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 12:32

Thanks Natty. Keep those legs in the air

Yeh - welcome back wannabe

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 12:29

SOrry wannabe - welcome back glad you have a lovely time.

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 12:28

Big hug from me Juicy.

Mrs - glad your feeling better about the house situation and hope you manage to find a FT job soon.

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:53

Didn't know you were moving. Must have missed that. Whats the reason?

I want to move if this pg works out. We live in the third floor flat in a very central, but non too celubrious area, so looking to find somewhere with outdoor space next time.

Changing jobs and ttc = mucho stress. Try to get your CV into agencies and let them do all the work.

Know what you mean about "closure". Just hope my sister can find some. Being far away makes it much easier to deal with on a day to day basis, just more worrying on the family side of things.

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:46

I am glad to hear that you are able to say goodbye properly so soon, I was worried you'd be left waiting due to how it happened. Hope the weekend in Dorset helps you find "closure" I know that is so American but there is really no British phrase to describe that is there?

I'm ok, being brave about my house, it's on the web now but now more than ever, I realise it's just a house. Job is worrying me a bit, might have to move on and feel a bit burdened with that at the mo. They have suggested I go part time (I am only employee and we need cash reduction) but I can't survive on reduced wages just now so I think I'll have to go FT elsewhere - I think 2 PT jobs would be exhasuting. All a bit tricky when trying to get pg at the same time but I am not prepared to put that on hold, we will find a way!

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:41

Thanks MrsMJ. It's good to be back. Just trying to get back to normal. Not looking forward to funeral on Thurs, but DH and I are then down in Dorset for a long weekend, so plenty of time to relax and recover.
How are you?

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:35

that much

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:34

JL2, big hugs (and missing you)
