I think I will be joining you all on this crazy bus. Had my coil taken out mid April so it's time to TTC. Already have 1 DD who is nearly 3, fell pregnant the first month with her hopefully things will go as smoothly this time round.

AF is due next weekend so I guess I will really be on the June bus but hey ho!

Thanks for replies all - am on the cough medicine. Taking two teaspoons twice a day. However I read somewhere that cough medicine can make your CM wetter - however it can only improve what is there, you can't put it there if that makes sense.

Will keep trying with preseed but when finished may try conceive plus

I'm currently sat on the sofa with my dog "O" on my lap (well his head, he's a bit big to sit on my lap), my foster support doggy "C" chomping on a bone thing on the floor and my friend's was-going-to-be-rehomed-but-now-decided-to-keep-him but let him live with me of a bit while we get him socialised with said friends current grumpy doggies dog "M" at my feet. Got the day off work today and to say it's my day off, I think I've done more today than I do on a normal 'work' day! Only just stopped! (I started my day 5am this morning). I think I'm subconsciously training myself for when my BFP and consequent little dragon arrive...either that or I'm just seriously tempting the Law of Sod by being so busy that I couldn't possibly find time for a baby! Also trying to find time to get my 2 businesses up and running...recently sent off some paperwork for a patent for one of them and I'm spending the next few days cramming in dog training sessions left, right and centre in between shifts at work and other 'a day in the life of Spotti' jobs to try and get the second business going.

Phew. Feeling tired just thinking about it all!

Planning on pouncing on OH tonight. Got another possible positive OPK today (the test line isn't as dark as the control BUT it's only recently that it's shown 2 lines at all) and I'm not risking missing the boat so we're planning to DTD as often as possible until that second line however faint goes away.

Brummie I prefer conceive plus, and if it's a spontaneous shag just make sure it's at hand but there are things you can take and drink that boost cm, all I tried was a cough bottle and I've in no way been dry this cycle

Brummiegirl, I've not used Preseed but Conceive Plus may be an option if you're not getting on with it?

Spotti I'm more than happy to give synchronised peeing a try! Although it may be the immaculate conception this month and a miracle if I get that far

Reporting in, af due sat, poas this morning, bfn but not surprised, I don't feel like we've been successful this month. If af turns up I have two tubs of pâté in the freezer ready to defrost and scoff so it could be worse

Is anyone else struggling with dryness in the fanjo parts?

I've struggled with it for a while - I desperately want to DTD but poor old bits are fast asleep. Before TTC it wouldn't have mattered as used normal lube, but obviously can't now. Bought some preseed and used a bit last night but it was no way enough and I dried out really quickly.

I clearly need to use the right amount, but it does mean there is fuck all spontaneity with DTD and the dryness is really stressing me out.

How can we TTC if my fanjo has given up? Okay slight exaggeration - once we start it gets better. But it's worrying me.

Anyone else struggle? Hopefully the preseed will help but it's not really designed to use all the time - ie not during fertile phase?

Just looking for a bit of encouragement I guess.

I'm similar, am going on a weekend break to York just after my bfp is due, so if AF turns up instead I will be able to have some gorgeous fizz and lots of wine with my DH. Gotta look at the bright side!

My BFP is due a week before my 24th birthday and we've been making plans to either celebrate our BFP on my bday OR get spectacularly pissed if AF shows up...either way, I'm not going to sulk this month. I'm trying to stay cool, calm and collected so I ov on time and have a 'normal' 26 day cycle. However, it could follow last months pattern and be 40

At least the temps seem to indicate no ov yet, so I'm not looking at a 16/17 dayer. Irregular cycles suck!

Throwing everything at it this month after getting our hopes up with April's false positive.

So far, temping and OPKing. Will be employing the NUDP technique and DTD every day for a week. We keep missing the crucial two days pre ov. I have told DH this is NOT happening this time! He was as gutted as me when AF arrived on Sunday, so he's more than willing to so whatever it takes!
