Expected af yesterday, normally have a 12/13 day lp. Move back next friday. Got a drs appointment for the following monday. Will hopefully start getting some investigations going. I'm utterly fed up of not knowing where I stand with my cycles!

Im only on 6th month of trying tested today and got a BFN not due AF till 16TH though want that BFP so bad :(

Hey Linda, yep temp definitely showed it this month. I'm now 14dpo! Just when I think my body is playing game it throws another curve ball my way!! So frustrating!!

hi all. Sorry to read some of you are in limbo or feeling like AF is approaching. its such an emotional roller coaster. doesn't help that so many symptoms are also AF symptoms.

I am still struggling with the bastardsticks that are clear blue opks. They just don't seem to be able to show anything on me. I've had awful pains which feel like ov pains and am bloated (which again happens to me normally around ov) but still nothing on the wretched sticks. Going to keep dtd regardless but I want to know when we can stop and have a rest!! I swear I'm thinking of temping in future or just using cheap opks.

grrrr... sitting here at approx 7dpo with incredibly tender achy boobs and wanting to shout SYMPTOM and, I must confess, prodding them repeatedly occasionally to check, which isn't really helping matters. (Luckily I am working from home not in the office!)

But it has just dawned on me that this could just as easily be a warning that AF is imminent. Really hoping that my cycles have gone back to normal, and not having another ridiculously short one.

Waffley yes the opks are ok to use ideally between 10am-7pm. I have found it best to do 2 or 3 a day though because it's easy to miss the peak - it can be quite sudden!

Well AF was due yesterday/today and no sign of yet but another BFN. I have resigned myself to the fact that I am not pregnant. The cramping is still continuing but hoping now that these are AF cramps and it will just appear so we can start afresh.

I am just gutted this was our first time trying after previous loss but i got pregnant first month that time and foolishly thought it would happen again.

I had been usinig the clearblue advanced ovulation test but it is just too expensive so going to try the OPK's- i have a question if you can help please. I know you can't use these first thing in the morning- are they ok to use when i get in from the gym at 7pm. It's not really feasible for me to test at work. Or maybe i should just avoid peeing on anything lol

I am 37 now and very conscious that time is not on my side :-(

told dh last I will poas next Saturday if no af. He said "its too early to show then" apparently he thinks hes an expert!! (Af due Wednesday so it would show!!) Men!

Oh and 50 I was stopping drinks in the afternoon & poas when I got in from work, it's easier than you think (and I go to the toilet a lot!!)

I just have a quick question about opks ( never used them before) it says I should test at the same time every day, is it best to do them first thing? as these clear blue ones says that you should not have been to the toilet for at least 4 hours!? and during the day that is never going to happen.

Thanks for the update list kitty - good to see several BFPs this month!

CD3 for me today and had my first acupuncture appointment of the cycle - this one is meant to bring the temperature down in the follicular stage, so will see how it compares to last month's chart!

Talking of acupuncture, I have found it also helps lengthen the LP by 2-3 days, so it might be something to consider MrsG, and sorry AF got you.

MrsG Yes that dosage sounds ok (though I'm not a doctor!) My Pregnacare have a small dose in and I'm taking 2x50mg. So just over 100mg a day. It says you get tingly limbs or something if you take too much and I haven't had that so hoping I'm ok! Encouraging to read that Treacle got pg with a short-ish LP!
