TTC First Time - Anyone else?

My husband and I are TTC! I have been off the pill for a month now and have started taking folic acid and calcium with vit D to ensure if anything does happen I'm as healthy as possible. Limiting caffeine and alcohol but not cutting it out completely as you never know how long it will take! All my friends have just fallen pregnant really easily, but I have a feeling this will not be the case for me. I can't remember when my last period was either which is annoying as will need to wait for the next one before I can chart etc. Hmm Is anyone else out there TTC now? We could all share our stories and encourage each other! Smile

Gemerama your DH's comment has really cheered me up! Slime!Grin

Just found this thread, I'm on cycle 6 at the moment, month #5 (I have short cycles). Feeling pretty despondent about it all at the moment, it seems to be taking forever (which is ridiculous as it's only 5 months, but everyone I know in RL seems to either get pregnant at the drop of a hat or need lengthy interventions).

This time he didn't go to his ex's. He came home 6.5 hours later with a mean attitude which I rejected, went outside and came back 20 mins later and ended up DTD lol. So I'm going to bed happy but with the knowledge that we have a long way to go but that he will stick by me :) thanks for your support today, it's helped so much.
Katy you must be so frustrated :( I hope something happens soon!

Ive told my best friend and my OH asked to meet and talk, i told him everything, literally everything and while he didn't go mad, he didn't take it particularly well. He went off by himself and I've come home. Not sure where he is or who he's with, but I can guess at his ex, as he tends to go to her when things get really bad with him and I. I really don't know how it will go, or even if he wants to stay with me.

And I feel wretched about it because he hasn't done anything wrong apart from respond badly to my lack of interest - and to be fair I'd be equally pissed at him if he was like that with me too. Sorry for ranting I'm just struggling with it all.

kittenmamma · 25/06/2014 14:36

Dont worry guys, things seem to be bad everywhere at the moment. My and DH got married not even 2 months ago and since then everything seems to have gone from our rerelationship. I just can't stand him, I feel like there is nothing between us and that the wedding has just distracted us from our problems, as we had had a bad patch in the 6 months before the wedding where we actually took a 'break' and considered calling off the wedding multiple times. Basically right now I feel like I may have made a huge mistake, and needless to say I don't want to try and have a baby, firstly because I don't want to be near him and secondly because I couldn't bring a child into a bad relationship on purpose, and I don't want to be any more tied down than I am already. We are sleeping separately which we did before the wedding, we have two days off together today and tomorrow and I don't even want to see him to be honest, I have a crush at work that is really getting in my head and it just all seems shit.

Hey Gemerama hope ur ok, it's horrid this ttc u r allowed to get Argo. I am trying to relax no af in site to we r dtd but defo not every other day hubbie to knackered for that. On av every 4 days which I guess isn't enough nut anymore and hubbie gets Argo and with no af it's hard to push the issue as whilst I know I could still have a chance I also might not be releasing eggs :-(

Yay good news at last, well done :) and congrats!

efilbean · 24/06/2014 09:37

Congratulations to you both gemerama and lancashire!

AF is now one day late. I'm certainly not counting any chickens yet though. I only had the implant removed about three weeks ago so DP and I would have to be very lucky to be expecting this month. Still, fingers crossed and we're having fun trying at least. Wink

Rainbow555 · 24/06/2014 03:53

gemerama I have started using them this month too but just cheap ones! no instructions and others said between 10am and 8pm as fmu can be too concentrated...but maybe clearblue are different?
How have you got on with them? Mi showed positive yesterday and today

lancashire yay how exciting!! Congrats :)

LancashireTea · 23/06/2014 20:34

Evening Ladybros. This time last week a colleague brought her newborn into school and that night I was going to have a mini-rant about my AF being haywire and that spotting a month ago was my actual AF, not... spotting. However, got home later than I intended from tutoring and kind of forgot.

Cue Friday and 5 days late. Did a 10Mui when I got up and there was the faintest of fain t lines (pic in in my profile). I leave it as going on a residential with 150 year 7s for the weekend (I have barely slept), but took a midstream with me. Did it Sunday am. Faint line.

Been totes naughty and did one when I got back tonight. Two pink lines.

Gonna tell OH when he gets home from darts as haven't spoken to him since a brief goodbye at 6am on Friday (broke phone - am a pleb!).

EXCITING!!

efilbean · 18/06/2014 15:07

Katy it seems like it really does mess with the system. It's really difficult though because it's impossible to know if it's just the pill or if you're pregnant.

Katybear123 · 16/06/2014 20:12

Ah sorry to hear that kitten, still no af there think this ruddy pill has messed me right up. Day 35 now!!

kittenmamma · 16/06/2014 20:01

Oh Hello AF, how lovely it isn't to see you. Purple rain cocktails already being consumed!
