Little shep would this be your first baby? Twins would be lovely if you transferred two but there are obviously risks involved. I could never have two transferred with having half a womb, it would be like carrying quads for me!

It's good that they've done a mock transfer though. Hopefully any problems would be ironed out that way.

Does anyone fancy joining a private Facebook group for this thread? I thought it might be easier. I struggle to see everyone's posts on my phone. No offence if you don't!

Thanks for the welcome Turq. I think tubal problems are exactly what IVF was developed for a originally, which can only be a good thing.

Val - Great news. I hope you can relax a bit in the next few days.

Res - Yeah, I guess having given birth before is positive from that point of view. I had wrongly assumed that the transfer was the easy bit after the drama of the egg collection. I think the main problem was that my insides are generally a bit wonky. The clinic told me to do star jumps before the egg collection to help my left ovary move down, as they were worried it was too high to reach Confused Hope the knicker watch is still going well and the time passes quickly between now and your scan.

I know Res it is shocking and I would recommend everyone asks for a copy of their notes. I've had case after case of poor care from the NHS. They did an infertility investigation ultrasound before I had my son and didn't even notice that half my reproductive system was missing! I should have been having frequent scans through pregnancy as uni uterus are high risk but was given no extra care. And finally they let me labour for three days when I never could have physically given birth naturally which resulted in me nearly dying and all the scarring I have now. And now I'm having to pay for ivf because they fucked up. Oh and our marriage nearly broke down too.

I am going to see a solicitor I think to look into a medical negligence case.

Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant!!
