My bf is desperate to have baby no 2, our dd is 20 months and I love her with all the world. I can't decide if I'm ready for no 2 yet, as totally remember the tiredness etc. However, it took me a year to conceive her which included a miscarriage at 12 weeks, which broke my heart and made me totally shitless of ever loosing another baby and at that point even just being pregnant
Now 3 of our NCT group are preggers, bf is 43 so not getting any younger but am I ready?!!!

I do think it definitely will happen soon, I loved being pregnant and would love to be again, there's just this fear of looking after two little ones! Wink

If you can't decide, why not wait? I think it would be worse adjusting to a pregnancy when you are not sure your ready. Much better to be overjoyed at the +ve rather than mixed feelings :)
I am sure broodiness will hit soon, as soon as they are a bit more independent/your getting more sleep it generally happens :)

Hi Purple, thanks, I just remember when we were ready to start trying for dd, I wanted her there and then! And the wait was so frustrating! Shock

Just wait, if you want no.2 then the time will come where you feel ready IMO and waiting until September seems sensible.
I had a hard time Ttc no.2 similar story to yours accept mc at 10wks. No.3 was conceived first month and I am now 19wks. Fertility is highly random and I think it is more important that you feel ready in yourself rather than feeling pressured because your chums are having babies and DP is broody.

Plus I may lose my job in sept as contract is up, so we might be hard up. But is there ever a right time?
