So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

?? Good luck, Spring Goddesses.

Yes the reality won't properly hit in until you get a bfp
I've had a few baby dreams, dreamt I had a baby boy 2 nights ago!
Yes everyone is so nice on here. Nice to have people to talk to, no one knows were trying.

Viperama · 29/04/2014 00:11

Late entry for gross words, FLANGE

ChaircatMiaow · 29/04/2014 00:10

I had a dream last night that I was breast feeding a new baby which was a little strange for me as I've never had the baby dreams before. I still can't believe that I might actually have one even though we're trying. That makes no sense, I know!!

There are some lovely ladies on here that I have everything crossed for. You can really tell how much it means to you.

NewlymrsB · 28/04/2014 23:31

Well no one can say I didn't give it my all! Lo I just hope it's worked want a baby so much

ChaircatMiaow · 28/04/2014 23:29

Omg newly, I'm tired just reading that!!Grin

NewlymrsB · 28/04/2014 23:27

theduchesse · 28/04/2014 20:36

I know how frustrating that is not knowing if you're expecting ov or af kurama. I was in the same position last month until af finally showed.

Hopefully implantation lady. Fingers crossed for you. I would totally test at 9dpo Wink

I'm definitely an over sharer of information toots so plenty of people know we are ttc. We are 6 months in and nobody has started to annoy me yet asking why it hasn't happened. I think they get that it's just not working out (I really like my booze so they have a pretty handy way of knowing without asking). I just don't like keeping big information to myself, with close friends anyway.

VAGINA

I feel like I shouldn't find that word disgusting since it's a part of me but I can't even bring myself to say it irl.

kurama · 28/04/2014 20:23

lady i did a test this morn along with a ov test lol. obvs bfn but the opk was still flashy smiley....either cd16 or 5dpo lol, sypmtom spotting.... yest felt sick most of day, for 2 days before that ive felt ill in evening, sleeping getting worse again, and today.....sensitive nipples Grin PLEASE for the love of god dont let it be phantom again. may is the month, it has to be. anniversary, dhs bday, holiday and signing contract for new flat....

MissMrsMummy · 28/04/2014 20:16

Thanks for all the ends info Mrs Mine doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as yours! I just don't want to ignore it in case it's affecting our chances of getting pg x

toots123 · 28/04/2014 19:10

Evening all!

yes its getting harder to say "erm maybe one day" we always told people "after our holiday" hoping we would be pg by now but we go away in a few weeks so we are still hoping it will happen soon!!

might try another digi opk soon to see if im oving soon. Fingers crossed

LadyCottington · 28/04/2014 19:03

So stupid me did a cheapie sainsbury test today and of course it's negative! I've asked my husband to hide the other one so I can't use it for a while. Never mind the fancy clear blue ones on order from amazon..

I've just been to the loo (lol, tmi) and I've noticed some brown tinged cm and now I'm cramping a bit. Could be implantation? Currently on 9 dpo. Bloody hell I hate not knowing!

kurama · 28/04/2014 18:47

yep gotta stay positive! we started flat hunting today, got more to look at on friday but if none of them are good enough we have 2 definite candidates for our new home..... and we will be moving in june. new place, new start and hopefully being pregnant! Dragon roar Dragon Grin

hope everyones ok today, im still getting flashing smileys and have been having stabby pains on right side for past few hours implantation!!!

lindamagoo · 28/04/2014 18:43

I'm enjoying the temping, it's really interesting. Just need to read up a bit more on it all.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 28/04/2014 18:41

I love FF, I even pay for the vip version (sad geek)! There's also a good charting q&a section on the website. It can take a few cycles to establish a pattern. I wouldn't worry about the dip, it doesn't mean you're not going to get your bfp this cycle. Smile

lindamagoo · 28/04/2014 18:31

Thanks English, think I'll get the ff ap. I kind of expected a rise yesterday (was drinking on Saturday) but the dip today confused me. Think it's going to take me months to get used to this, lol

EnglishGirlAbroad · 28/04/2014 18:09

Linda some people get a dip at implantation normally at 6-12dpo and the it rises again. Sometimes at 4/5dpo it can be the progesterone surging.
I've been temping since November but my wonky cycles have been all over the place.
If you're on fertility friend you can browse through other users charts. Very interesting!!

spinningirl10 · 28/04/2014 16:35

Chandlers, sounds fantastic! Thanks for the offer of help but we have holidays planned for this year and next so I don't think it will be for sometime! I went to Phuket about 20 years ago!! Bet I'd see some changes now. My dp has also been but he travelled around.

I've got a stabbing pain in my right side where my ovary is....it's been coming and going for the last hour, very odd!

JacktheLab · 28/04/2014 15:58

My period is due on sat, I have no symptoms and last month I fabricated all sorts of symptoms so trying to be very relaxed about it all...

ChandlersFarang · 28/04/2014 14:39

I'm 3 DPO hanflan! Have developed a cracking headache this afternoon for no reason whatsoever. Haven't had a headache with no hangover to blame it on in months!! Symptom?!!! Wink

hanflan · 28/04/2014 14:15

Also my stats have changed a bit, ovulated a few days earlier than expected this month so BFPs now due 10th May! Anyone else due that day?! Or anyone else 1 or 2 days dpo? We can spur each other on and symptom spot haha

lindamagoo · 28/04/2014 14:02

English have you been temping long? Was just wanting to ask you if you knew what a second rise could mean? You said my chart looked like I ov'd on cd17 so I'd be 6dpo now and yesterday my temp shot up and came back down again today. Or do you know any good sites where I could get more info on charting?

hanflan · 28/04/2014 13:54

Hi all! 1 dpo here... Am I pregnant yet?!! This 2ww is feeling far too long already Wine

ChandlersFarang · 28/04/2014 13:50

MissMrs & Mel - it's 19:45 here so go for it!! Grin

Spinning - we live in Bangkok which is pretty good as hectic, hot asian metropolises go, but would be much better to be living in 'holiday thailand'!! The good thing is we can travel loads at the weekends - 30 mins to the airport, and air asia is like our Ryanair, super cheap and a big network, so usually go away every fortnight to an island somewhere!! Have been to tons of them now so let me know if you want any tips! Where did you go last time? Any fave places..? X x

MelMc73 · 28/04/2014 13:39

Ha ha MissMrsMummy .....anytime is acceptable to open wine! As the song goes "its five o'clock somewhere"!

Forgot about revolting word....MUCUS!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 28/04/2014 12:58

I agree smear it revolting word! Wink

Yes I had laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and laser treatment as most of the endo is down the back of my womb on the outside. I also have one ovary a bit compromised as a large blood vessel is running in front of it. I always get more pain on the left.

I'm exceptionally lucky really, reason being I had my first very young at 18, then bf for 15 mts while conceiving dd at 20, then bf for another year. Then a year after that conceived ds2 and another year of breast feeding. All of which took me up until I was 24, major pain kicked in at 26. The pg and the bf kept everything at bay. It's been hard going for about 8 years, with some treatment in between. I have managed to conceive during that time too as had ds3 at 27 followed by ops at 28 then mcs at 28&29 the finally got ds4 at 31. I think the pain affects dtd a lot tbh. I'm only one week of the month without pain entirely. I've been extremely lucky to have had vaginal births and having the first 3 in quick succession warded off the endo.

My dsis was on the pill until she was 27, had ds at 28 emergency c section. They waited a year as they were told it was safest to wait after C section. She wishes she hadn't as from that point it created huge scar tissue that endo loves and she had masses of ops to try and clear it. Her tubes are kinked and cysts on both ovaries that size of grape fruits. Ivf was an option for them but not a route they chose to go down. So they have just the one.

I have medication to manage the bleeding and strong pain killers for when it's horrendous. I could bleed for Britain I think sometimes. It's not all bad news. My cousin also has endo and after a dairy and gluten free diet she managed to get the endo under control. They will probably do an internal scan but if they can't see anything on that doesn't mean it's not there. Mine is at the back right on my bowel so I get bad back ache and constipated when it all flares up. But it's not hugely obvious on the scan. Saying that I haven't had a scan for ages so who knows. Lol

Best of luck it's not all bad news finding out if there's something the matter it just means you might be able to manage it a bit better. When I'm more physically active my symptoms improve a lot. Certain things can help different people. You'd be amazed how common it is.
