Morning! can I jump on the May bus? I've not been on a bus since the September one in a quest not to think about TTC too much. But after AF arrived this morning I could do with the solidarity.

Reading the thread this morning has made my head a bit straighter It's nice to know I'm not the only one who finds it difficult to hint to DP when we need to DTD. The early months were a nightmare, we don't exactly DTD like rabbits but I thought that he'd realise if I was initiating it that he should man up. After a couple of months of massive frustration at him not getting the hint I had to sit down and explain the menstrual cycle to him. How can you get to 40 without knowing about that? I have no idea what he thought happened?! So for the last three cycles we've been DTD regularly around OV time and two months ago I got a CB OPK. Fingers crossed for this month. I'm going to buy some lemons

Morning all I'm obsessed with my cervix these days! It has been high for over a week and cervical Lucas is still hanging around! Is this normal from cd 11 to cd 18? Starting to wish I'd never started checking it.

Cervical Lucas pmsl! Did another CB ov test last night when I got home and lo and behold SOLID SMILEY!!! Woohoo!! Texted DH to let him know then explained the meaning when he got home. Went away out to the gym and came home to him guzzling beer. Not amused! I had one bottle of Corona and he had 5 cans of Stella (I thought he only had a couple)....anyway, bedtime came along...started to DTD...which went on and on and on.....stupid penis dragon was drunk and not playing the game . Well I was not amused!! Anyway, made up for it this morning instead.

How long after the solid smiley should we DTD for?? I had the flashing smiley yesterday morning and then the solid smiley in the evening so the LH surge must have occurred during the day. The CB instructions say this is peak fertility and that you should ovulate in the next 12 to 36 hours so I'm guessing we should have another couple of goes before the dreaded 2WW.....any thoughts people .

kurama I reckon it could have been because you had drank too much. Its says not to drink too much before you intend to do the test. Have you tried again this morning? I just had first positive opk this month as well and had 3 days of flashing smiles before solid one.

my AF pains are almighty... :( I don't know if it's because of my last long cycle but this is a very bad one eugggh

My dp came in this morning and asked if I was pregnant!! He says my symptoms yesterday were exactly the same as when I got my bfp before!! I thought this but at 5/6 dpo it's surely too early to have symptoms?! Ah I hate symptom spotting!!! Gonna be a long few days

ouch! Fed up with ovulation pains. Seems to be my regular thing now. Days worth of it. Got them for the last few cycles. One side hurting slightly more than tge other each cycle. This time it's right. I'm going to take it as positive that I'm ovulating
Have felt really full over last couple of days and sort of but not quite crampy Symptom spotting lol!!

I literally flip my legs over my head and hook my feet into the head board of our bed after DTD!! Stay like that for 10 mins and then grab a cushion and sleep with that under my backside! No lost swimmers for me!!

I dont sleep on a towel but I normally dont move for rest of night lol. blank circle again which I suppose would be normal..... just keep thinking that yesterdays test is wrong so I want to keep testing. .....

Ah karuma! half bridge in yoga is my now post coital default position. I'll be in that in about 45 minutes I recon. Probably tmi for everyone but to try and keep the goodies in I've been going to sleep on a towel straight after and staying put until morning. Oh the shame!

Brummie def apply, if you get it it'll get you a BFP for sure! I'm a year older than you and TTC #1 as well. If it were me I'd go for both but prioritise a baby if push comes to shove, years from now I won't give a toss about what work I did but I would regret not having a little sausage.

I'm so worried I've missed my chance, it took me so long to decide it's for me as it's such an important commitment and if I was to be a mom I wanted to feel I'd be able to be the best. I just want one, it's not too much to ask surely!?

Hello all, putting one foot on (don't mind standing if there are no seats left!) as my cycles have been weird. My tracker app reckons AF - sorry: BFP of course!!- is due 28th April but I've ov'd later than it thinks I should have done (useful...) so I'm really only 6dpo. I'm on the April bus too just in case. Managed to stay calm and collected until everyone just fecking irritated me today! SYMPTOM??? Feeling super tearful, irritable, have spots on my chin and forehead (hardly ever get them), really thirsty all the time and constant sensation (not really pain as such, just odd feeling) on the left by my ovary...but I'm 6dpo, so must be in my head.

Stats: 33, ttc#2, cycle#5, bfp early May (1st?), edd 6th January (just like #1!)

nooo! only managed to dtd on sunday so far! must dtd tonight and attack dh again tomoro as soon as he gets home :'(

hey i have a question, this morning when i tested i got a solid smiley on cb opk, ive had pains on right for most of day and now its moved to the left side, but i just did another test to make sure and i got a blank circle... maybe i didnt wait long enough or drank too much??? ive been so excited today as ive never had a positive result ever in the two years weve been trying..
