For those starting TTC in April

I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Yeah those are the ones. It say 10 mui on the back - is that most sensitive or least sensitive?

I really don't trust that strip though. Am sitting here trying to see the line again now and i can't - dammit!!

That's what DH thought of mine too!!! And my first one you can't really see anymore unless you tilt it at exactly the right angle in the sun and squint your eyes! You can just about see a shadow then! I tried to take a pic but you couldn't even see anything on it!

Be careful with the fr ones off the internet, I got quite a few that must hae been fakes because although the leaflet said they were 10mui they came back negative even though I was getting positives with Asdas 15mui. They should have a see through lid, the crappy ones I got off net didn't. Smile

It was a one step preg test strip ducky.
trying not to get excited now. Hubby doesn't think it's anything lol!

Thanks guys but I'm still not convinced as i can't see it anymore! Luckily I've ordered some frers on Monday so hopefully I can test again when they arrive! I don't want to build my hopes up! :s

Popple - no the novelty of poas NEVER wears off! I'm still bloody doing it now haha Smile

Tick - I used opks, your not meant to use them before 10am, I don't know why. It's best to do them twice per day, I did mine around 2.30pm and 7.30pm, it's best to do them at the same time each day. When you get two lines, the test line being as dark or darker than the control it means you are going to ovulate within the next 24 - 36 hours. Your not meant to drink much before doig them but I did which meant I never got a full positive, we just DTD every other day and everyday when I got a slight positive Smile I had the cheapos, not sure about the fancy cb ones!

Kitkat, I have the app on my phone so can't see the pic! Hmm But I hope kato is right!!!! GrinGrinGrin (it's a pg test right???) Massive congrats if it's a line! Mine was stupid faint. Smile

I know I've said before but this thread moves soooo fast!! I can't keep up!! Sorry to all the BFN's and boo to AF!!! At least we can focus on May club now. I had so many symptoms this month I am never trusting my body again!!!!

Well at least im not to insane then, thanks kato! It looks like it has disappeared from the test now though :( maybe it's a dodgy test! I'll have to try again in the morning

Oh Cupcake that's such a crappy result, sorry to hear AF caught up with you. We were all rooting for you. Roll on May club. I'm going to try opks in may too but not sure how's best to use them. When do you test? I tried a few this month but not seen any positives. Any advice from you helpful ladies please?

I'm pretty convinced my eyes are playing tricks on me but can anyone see a really faint ghost of a line here?
Not sure why I'm asking as even if people can I will still think it is just me seeing things!
Hubby thinks I've lost the plot looking at the bloody things so closely lol.

Cupcake, you have my complete sympathy- I get terrible period pains and always have done! Hope they go away very soon Sad

It's going to be an aMAYzing month (see what I did there...?!) Not due til 6th/7th but am going to test on Sunday just because I've never POAS before and don't think I'll be able to hold out another whole week! I'm sure the novelty will wear off though.

Tuesday is the worst day of the week for me. So glad it's over! Roll on the bank holiday already...

I was just reading some of the old posts on here, we seem to have lost a few people!

My cheapies were just off eBay pack of 40 for a couple of pound.

ive been using one step opks of amazon. havent had a positive yet, but seem to be working ok.
The May club is growing :) lets hope may has lots and lots of bfps!

Sorry cupcake Hmm your body has been cruel, i used the internet cheapies and they seem to work fine, make sure you do them twice a day though incase you hae a short surge. I will keep my fingers crossed for you
