oh yrs, to add, we did it every other day around my OV date (every other day for the entire month sounds exhausting!!

tashalou · 14/04/2014 10:37

I'm symptom spotting too! Last week was nauseous and sore tummy and boobs... Think it was in my head though and last few days nothing so just expecting AF to rock up any day

Cupcake92 · 14/04/2014 10:33

I've been symptom sporting too! I should be but I am I'm 4/5 DPO I think, I'm peeing more but that could just be me drinking more I don't know lol!
Odaat we've only done the deed around ovulation. We have a 8 month old son so to do it every day/ every other day would be too tiring for me lol!!

KatoPotato · 14/04/2014 10:28

I've been recommended to every other day, as it takes time for your partner to build up more stocks!

Odaat · 14/04/2014 10:25

Hear* omg still asleep!

Odaat · 14/04/2014 10:24

Do the deed** sorry hahah

Odaat · 14/04/2014 10:24

Do you dothe feed everyday or every other day everyone? I always here conflicting advice on this one...

I'm very nervous too cupcake and Alizeed I will be scared if it is a positive too!

KatoPotato · 14/04/2014 10:22

Okay so this is my first month ttc and I've already turned into a symptom spotting crazy lady!

3 DPO and I have mega sore boobs, it's going to be a loooooong 2ww!!

alizeeod · 14/04/2014 10:00

I'm trying for my first and although I really want a bfp I'm also terrified I'll get one! But being my first month trying its unlikely... My period is due May 2 so ages to wait but we are trying daily!

Cupcake92 · 14/04/2014 09:52

Anyone else feel really nervous in their tww? Today I've been so nervous! I still have a whole week left to go! Haha!
It's only my 1st cycle but so desperate to see that bfp :( n I have a feeling I've missed it completely.
Sorry having one of those days!

Cupcake92 · 13/04/2014 22:17

Glad ur csection went well OiMissus :) if I did have to have Another one is hope that one goes well lol!

Good luck tashalou hope ur get ur bfp!

tashalou · 13/04/2014 21:40

Seem to have missed a lot of posts today! I think my AF is due towards end of week so will do a test next weekend unless appears before! Hope everyone has had a good weekend of TTC Wink

OiMissus · 13/04/2014 21:11

You were unlucky with the c-section, cupcake. I had an emergency cs with my DS, but it was fine. I was up and about the next day.
I had an epidural headache for 2 wks though, and on strong painkillers, so I probably floated through any discomfort unconsciously!
I was driving within 4 weeks and completely back to normal.
If I get lucky and get pregnant again, I want an ELCS.

Cupcake92 · 13/04/2014 20:45

It was the worst! It took me about 3 months to stop being in pain completely and to feel normal again! The normal recovery time is about 6 weeks but it does take 12 months to be completely healed lol

Hi Odaat, I hope u get ur bfp and get a sticky one this time.
Fingers crossed for us all, I personally have a feeling this is a lucky month :) so bfp's for everyone!

Odaat · 13/04/2014 20:40

Hi bears!
My dd was induce and helped out with ventouse too. I was 10 days overdue. I hope that never happens again to be honest !

But, what will be will be- hope I am lucky enough to hve the oppurtunity again more than anything.

BearsInMotion · 13/04/2014 20:37

On, and welcome Odaat!

BearsInMotion · 13/04/2014 20:37

Sorry to hear the sad stories :(

DD was induced and helped out with a ventouse. I had an epidural before the syntocin drip and it was all very smooth and well managed, I hope it's that smooth again (if I ever get another BFP!).

Odaat · 13/04/2014 20:31

Hi everyone :)
I have one dd already, she is one. We are ttc for number 2. This will be our first month / cycle. With dd it only took about 6 weeks of being off pill. I am due on the 25th and very nervous. Last month I got a bfp ( we were not trying then) but sadly my period came - i had several BFPs on the IC off amazon. I believe I was, but obviously it wasn't meant to be and I had a very early miscarriage/ chemical pregnancy.

Onwards and upwards though! I shall be hopeful for this month. I will not test until a good day or two late this time though....

Ducky23 · 13/04/2014 19:54

Cupcake that sounds awful!! Definitely won't opt c section then!

How long did it take you to recover?

Cupcake92 · 13/04/2014 19:30

I hope tomorrow goes okay for u Ducky.
My auntie went full term but had to be induced due to no heartbeat etc but with her next baby they induced her at 38 weeks they said that's the longest they would have let her go.

My advice is don't decided to go for a csection, it's the worst thing I've ever had. The amount of pain I was in after made me so depressed as I couldn't hold DS properly it made me feel sick I could hardly move due to the amount if pain. And also my bladder was damaged in surgery so I had no idea when I needed to pee, and I got an infection and I can tell u now I was in that much pain I thought I was going to die and was rushed back into hospital. It was awful :(
I'd never recommend a csection unless u reallllllllllly need it

Ducky23 · 13/04/2014 18:48

I'm not sure how early but they said they definitely won't let me go full term. I have an appt tomorrow morning with a consultant to discuss the post mortem results for dd and to discuss care for 'next time'.

I was terrified when I had dd as I was told I would go in hospital to be induced on Wednesday, Tuesday night I started havig contractions but had no clue I was in labor! I didn't know until my waters broke hours later!

The whole night was a bit of a blur but then, me being me, decided I needed a poo, I have birth standing over the toilet :-| only I would bloody do that!

I have the option of a csection but think I will try being induced and see how that goes. I'm not even pregnant and have decided how I'm giving birth! Haha.

BearsInMotion · 13/04/2014 18:37

I would be 28th Dec - DP's birthday - but was induced 5 days early for DD so who knows!

Cupcake92 · 13/04/2014 18:37

Would they induce u 2 weeks early Ducky?
My DS was born by emergency csection as he was too big for me to give birth naturally. They said if I was to have another I could book in for a selective csection at 38 weeks! But I really want to try and VBAC

Ducky23 · 13/04/2014 17:59

If this is my month I think it would be due 26th dec :-| although I would be induced slightly early so would just be before Xmas Grin

Cupcake92 · 13/04/2014 17:50

Well good luck to everyone on bfp's!
I hope we all get our bfp's this cycle :)
Mine would be due 2nd January I think. I think I just miss Xmas
