I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Can I just say I might've appeared to be "bragging" when I said we were dtd every night, let me clear this up! Before we started ttc we would do it once a week (or less) and our nights mainly consisted of me falling asleep with my mouth wide open in front of Game of Thrones.
And by dtd, right now it mainly consists of quickies and then me doing a handstand. LOL!

Oh no kato! What happened?!

Even if you are pregnant hopefully it will be ok, the baby doesn't connect to your blood supply and stuff until 6 weeks... I think!!!

Hi again!

Well I've had an eventful week which ended up going for emergency minor surgery yesterday under GA.

I told them I was on my 2ww but obv too early for them to test me, so now sort of hoping I get my AF now rather than worrying about everything my body's been through!

Yea I think a girl cus we have all the stuff and it's all brand new. Seems a shame to waste it, and I have the nursery pink and I love it! Would upset me to re decorate it Hmm

It means dear children pretty Grin was wondering if you have a big or small gap between them?

I'd like a girl seen as we already have a boy be nice to have both but I'm not fussed either way :)

I've been taking folic acid since the day my implant was removed.

I am trying from January 2014 and no luck yet.
I am approaching my Fertile window soon Smile so keeping m fingers crossed. I have work all Ester weekend. This time I am planning to use Balance Active Fertility Gel from boots. I was wondering if it really works?

I've been taking folic acid a few weeks, still no sign of AF! I have work all Easter weekend, nights too so hope everyone else is more successfull at dtd then me! Wink

Ali I have been taking folic acid. Consultant told me it's good if you can get 3 months worth in your system before you get pregnant, it doesn't hurt if you don't I don't think, last time I found out late so only started taking them from 9 - 10 weeks

Eeee AF due tomorrow :-/ desperately trying not to poas today Confused bet my body will be cruel and AF will be late Hmm

Morning all, keeping my fingers crossed for you all this week :) ive still not had a withdrawal bleed and ov sticks say negative still! Poo! Oh well, I am being very impatient! everyone looking forward to the weekend? Going to try and dtd a fair bit whilst we have the time off!
Even every other day dtd seems a lot to me lol. We usually both fall asleep on the sofa at about 10pm - rock n roll - living the dream!

For those who've just stopped the pill (like me) and think you need to wait for your normal cycle to return, I've got good news! Saw my GP yesterday and she said her best friend fell pregnant straight after stopping and that it's totally possible!!! :-)
Anyone started taking folic acid? Bought some in Boots yesterday and took my first one. Can't hurt!

Would you all prefer a girl or a boy?

I'm not fussed but kinda lean towards a girl as we have everything already from dd and it's ALL pink!

Imagine knowing the next day! That'd be amazing!!! No stress or frustration waiting 2 or more weeks! :p

Just awake feeding DS as for some reasons he's decided 3am would be a good time to demand a bottle! Normally he sleeps through till 8 but he's been having other ideas the past week :p

On another note I'm having a few cramps tho, not sure if it's a good sign?

Ps as I was writing this DS has just thrown up ALL over me! He clearly was just being greedy and didn't actually want his milk lol!

I honestly can't believe that in the 21st century we can't a) ovulate on demand and b) tell whether we'd successful the next day. Even sheep have got the first bit sussed!
