I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

If all goes to plan I will do kitkat! Grin

Really really hope it turns out to be a massive strong BFP!

I have drank a massive bottle of water before doing it and it wasn't first wee of the day so will do another tomorrow morning and hopefully get a stronger one Smile

kitkatkaty87 · 17/04/2014 11:54

Please keep us updated every day of the line changing!

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 11:53

Will try! I just remember all the stories on here of faint positives then turning to negatives days later

kitkatkaty87 · 17/04/2014 11:52

Yayyyyy ducky. Positivity can do wonders so keep thinking positive and every day is a day stronger.

A line isa line in the hospital we count any line as a positive :-) just give it a couple of days

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 11:48

It's so faint I don't know if I can even class it as a positive?

tashalou · 17/04/2014 11:46

Ah congrats ducky! Great news. As for your fear I can't even imagine what you went through before so the fear will always be there however I'm sure it won't happen to you again, hopefully with your experiance the hospital your under will keep a close eye on you x

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 11:43

I'm not going to tell anyone until I get a stronger line

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 11:42

Ladies,

I have just had a massive breakdown.

I also snapped an poas, there is the faintest ever second line. I will have to wait and do another one in a few days. Please keep your fingers crossed Confused

I didn't think id react like that, all of a sudden the fear of having another stillborn just rushed through me and I'm shaking.

I'm praying this one will hold on Confused.

It is very very very faint tho. Confused

I didn't just stop the pill I finish that cycle so then had my period as normally after and just didn't start pill again, I then had another period after 27 days. So if I was to go on a 4 week cycle again I would have been due Tuesday. So I know bit really late just frustrating

kitkatkaty87 · 17/04/2014 11:27

Tashalou how long did you have to wait for your first period then? Usually if I missed just one pill I would get a tiny withdrawal bleed a few days later. So I'm surprised it hasn't come. It's frustrating! I wish it could mean I was pregnant but I'm pretty doubtful about that! Xx

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 11:19

Sorry tash I might have asked a million times before but when are you due?

Don't give up hope until AF arrives Smile

Like I said before I've seen a thread on here where someone didn't get their BFP until 2 weeks after AF was due!

tashalou · 17/04/2014 11:15

I POAS again today still nothing... Kind of given up hope for this month now

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 10:52

Cheesecake did you use first wee of the day? First response seem to be the best.

Maybe (try) wait a few days and poas again if no AF. I've got a good feeling about this! I've been using fertility friend app and it recons the best day to test is 5 days after AF is due. All this bloody waiting!!!! It's not fair!!!

alizeeod · 17/04/2014 10:46

What tests are you using? I heard first response are the most reliable. I'd say wait a week and do two of those, the you'll know for sure.

This has been withdrawn by MNHQ at the poster's request.

alizeeod · 17/04/2014 10:18

You mean withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill? Mine came 3 days after stopping and lasted 8 days!!! We've been at it ever since it stopped (1 week ago).
If it doesn't come I'd suggest poas, you never know!!! If its a bfn go see your GP!

Prettylady8 · 17/04/2014 10:04

I am going to DTD almost everyday in my fertile days this time Grin and will use balance active gel and will lie with my legs in air for 15-20 mins. Please pray for me. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 09:55

Ohhh sounds painful kato!

tashalou · 17/04/2014 09:52

I never got a withdrawal bleed

kitkatkaty87 · 17/04/2014 09:48

Alizeeod brilliant. That makes me feel less guilty about not dtd every day. Can't beat a bit of game of thrones!
How long did you all have to wait for your withdrawal bleed? I was expecting it in the few days after stopping, but it's nearly a week now and nothing at all.

ducky I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that a stays well away!

OP posts:
tashalou · 17/04/2014 09:48

I lie with my legs in air too!!!!! Kato sorry to hear about that hope you recover quick

KatoPotatoSansFollicleBollockle · 17/04/2014 09:31

I had a labial cyst that grew to epic proportions in the space of two days! Sent to emergency ward for an op and I'm doing great now.

Ducky23 · 17/04/2014 09:28

Hahahaha Ali :,)

Noo didn't think you were bragging think were all at it like rabbits but just made me chuckle the way you came in with it, I liked it! Every time we DTD I lie there with me legs up in the air for 20 -30 mins, DH thinks I've lost it! He looks at me like I'm a wierdo!

Prettylady8 · 17/04/2014 09:22

Ohh Thanks Ducky.
No this is my 4th TTC cycle. And I am trying for my first one [Big Grin].
