For those starting TTC in April

I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Positive thinking!

I'm not sure how I am lol! I have been getting really really dizzy and eating loads and I have morning insomnia and am shattered during the day but no morning sickness yet which is worrying me, I had it really bad with dd Confused

I'm still waiting for this scan too, I have a feeling they have forgot!

Hope you see a nice strong line kitkat Grin

I love your positivity cupcake - made me smile. I think we should all aim to think like that we see a bfn or af!

How's everyones day going? My tests arrived today, going to try and hold off until at least tonight or tomorrow morning if I can manage!
I've got too fr and 2 clear blue digital - all stocked up now!

How are you feeling ducky? any horrible preg symptoms yet or are you feeling well?

I usually ovulate about a week after AF has finished so prob best I use them straight away lol thank you Ducky.

I'm getting all excited again! Can't wait to dtd and try again :D

I did cupcake but that's because my cycles had a mind of their own. If you are regular there is usually a chart tht will tell you when to start testing or you can google it Smile

My it's my 1st proper AF off the implant, I remembered why I loved contraception haha! But yes hopefully it'll end soon and I can join in with the May club! I'm gonna do it next month I know it :) ordered my ovulation tests! I'm all ready to go!
When do u start testing for ovulation? It's it literly straight after AF?

Thanks guys, hopefully my other tests will arrive in the post today. I'm expecting that it was just a dodgy strip though - cruel strip!

Cupcake - that's exactly what happened with me! AF only stayed a few days but was mega heavy! It will be over soon, then you can get excited about the May bus :)

Kitkat, mine got lighter before it got darker and if I used them strips I don't think id see it... I used one recently and it still wasn't very strong.

Other people said they could see a line Smile

tested again witha strip, i might test again on Saturday morning with a frer just incase - but i think im clutching at straws! :(

I've never had so much blood come out of me ever!
AF is the heaviest I've ever seen it :( kept me up last night as I had to keep changing my pad! This one is awful! Roll on when it stops so we can dtd and make a baby! :D

Good luck today Kitkat! Hope u get a good line on that stick !

Thanks for the advice Ducky, I will persist with the opks next month. Ov window closed now for April, I'm in the may club but not greatly hopeful as we've had in laws staying with us the past few days so dtd has been less frequently. So inconvenient, don't they want us to make grand children for them, lol ;)

Kitkat are you late now? Hope you get a result soon. I think there was a faint ghost line on your pic. Fingers crossed for you x

Could it be diluted kitkat? Have you had a drink? Maybe try fmu and a first response, I don't trust then strips that much.

Just done another test and looks negative to me :( i couldn't resist as they are next to the toilet!

Ah well, May will be a good month for all of us, I know already :) My friend here in Spain has just found out she´s pg!!!!!! Now I can learn how to talk about all things ttc-related in Spanish!

I did a first response and didn't use fmu the same day and it was faint, the rest of my tests were fmu, the next day it got slightly darker, the day after it was quite a bit lighter, darker the next day but still faint and then full blown dark BFP about two days after that so didn't get strong until about 4/5 days after the first test... Hope I made sense there Grin
