For those starting TTC in April

I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Bless u bears! Don't over think n buy both :) I'm having to do the same as my AF or fingers crossed bfp is due next week when I go away. So I'm stocking up on pregnancy tests n tampons! But hoping I get a bfp before I go ! Lol :p

I think I'm going to have to aren't I?! Last time I bought tampons and no pg test before we went on holiday and DP was :( because he thought it meant no BFP that month - AF never arrived (or not until after DD was born! So part of me thinks buying test is tempting fate - see, overthinking!!

Bears, buy both! Better safe than sorry. Test Sunday morning first thing and tell us! :-)

I've started bleeding today! Quite happy about that as it means things are moving on and body knows there'sno pill anymore :) not sure if withdrawal or period. Will have to wait and see. At least hopefully I will start ovulating after this.

So, AF is due Sunday. I am at my parents and have neither pregnancy test or tampons (well, I have 2, but not enough!). Can't decide whether to buy one, the other, or both! If I go anywhere other than the tiniest local shop they will sell both, then I will want to buy both, and there is no way I will be able to have one and not POAS!

Gah! I am seriously overthinking here! HmmConfused

I had kind of period pains but too early to actually be AF. Is it that type of pain?

I have swollen breasts today and painful period-type cramps but only on one side. Could that be a sign of pregnancy? My period is due in two weeks so too early for actual period cramps but stopped the pill 2 and half weeks ago so I suppose it could just be hormones adjusting. I also wake up in the middle if the night for no reason. Thoughts?

It's definitely there! Still a little faint but more clear than yesterday! Grin Hopefully they will keep getting darker and I will contact my midwife Tuesday Smile

I was using a first response and only got a very faint BFP the day before AF was due. If you look at the leaflet that comes with them it's only a very small amount of people that will get a positive 6 days before AF

First response are supposed to tell you up to 6 days before your period is due.
I'm tempted to test 6 days before (which would be next Saturday) but is even likely I get a bfp if I'm pregnant?!

I'm probably going to wait till Thursday to test then I'm a day late for AF. I'm gonna buy a First response test I think as I heard they are good.

But knowing me I'll test sooner lol!!

Make sure you update us all as soon as you get your BFP! Remember to check the sensitivity on te tests because if your testing early it might still show as negative

Looking4rainbow I've had the exact same symptom!!!
I've felt sick for 2 days this is the 3rd day so far I've not felt sick yet but I've not eaten yet lol

Cupcake I think Monday or Tuesday for us! I have felt sick for 2days hope I'm not imagining the symptoms. I did cave in at tesco and bought their own brand for 3.50 not used before though.
