I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Let me know how you get on imustbecrazy. Will be interesting to see if you get a bfp!! I am going to test on 11th May I think as that's a month. I bought 2 tests in super drug the other week but will save them :)

Omg I think all the painting is about finished!!
I just have to clean the whole flat by tomorrow afternoon and then it's done! All ready for us to move out and let someone else rent it!
I'm exhausted.
But omggggggggg I want to test ! Hahaha

That is exactly why I'm not getting then yet ducky!! I keep thinking ill order some cheap ones but I know I'll be come an addict and it will just stress me out!!

Crazy - your doing the right thing with not having any tests in the house! I constantly kept poas, must have wasted so much money, poas at like 2dpo ha Smile

Kitkat I was wondering that too as I have no idea on my cycles yet with only just coming off the pill this month I am on cycle day 14 and have been dtd every other day since cd8! I haven't brought any tests yet so will hold out and treat it as a cycle of 28 days it would be nice to get my BFP bfore we go on honeymoon!!

I'll be testing this weekend when I'll be 15dpo so we shall see. I'm not sure if I've done it this month or not. I've had mild cramping today and yesterday...I expected AF to come early but she didn't! Bbs are not so sore today though??
Ducky how exciting. I bet the midwife made it so real. This will be my first so I've not idea what to do if I do get that BFP!
Hopefully we'll have lots of BFP's after this weekend on our little thread :-)

Congrats looking4rainbow that's so good to hear!!! :D I keep looking into things far too much!! I've figured out with my last pregnancy I was 17DPO when I got a very faint bfp on asda test. N I tested at 14 DPO and got a stark white negative! So today I am 14 DPO! So test on Saturday and will be 17 DPO!! :D it's given me so much more hope so deffo keeping fingers crossed! AF still not arrived for me :)

Kitkat I would just test a month from when u stopped the pill and just keep testing every other day :) good luck!

Glad went ok with the midwife ducky :)

So exciting for you both.
I think i could be on CD 7, but still not sure as bleed only last 12 hours :S
Will dtd tonight again, the conceive plus gel is pretty helpful if anyone is thinking of getting it, not sure about it's effectiveness yet obviously!

Cupcake you are so good waiting till the weekend I have become a poas addict.

Fx for all this weekend.

From previous with me I like the asda tests, only issue is not sure the line every gets defined enough not to second guess but good at early detection with a very faint line. Maybe get a digital to confirm. I have just poas with asda and clearblue plus (it came in a clearblue ovulation test) they both say can be used 4 days before af due. I am currently 12dpo. Asda a faint line just like yesterday and clearblue a BFP Smile

I never got a full on positive with my opk but just DTD every other day and that should cover it Smile

Still no sign of ovulation with the opk sticks for me :(
Any idea when I should do a first pregnancy test, I was guessing a month from the date I stopped the pill. Im sure it will be bfn - but feel like i should at least check to keep an eye on whats going on!
Any ideas? Have been dtding regularly :)

Still no sign of AF here Confused. Three days late now. I'll be another weekend tester if there is still no sign!

I love Dylan as a girl's name but DP vetoed it :(. I want Hamish for a boy, quite keen on Daisy or Molly for a girl.

She named her daughter Dylan. I love it both for a boy or a girl. Not using it now though, it's going to become a chav favourite. Shame!
