I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!
Please join me!

I THINK I'm about 9 DPO but not entirely sure as haven't used opk but had ewcm on 15th so think it was around then.

I mean, I am unusually tired and have no signs of pms (I'm usually an absolute monster by this time each month) but really been trying not to build up too much hope just in case.
Am going on hols for 2 weeks without DP the day after AF's due, so if Im not pg I might miss next ov. Aaah!

Ducky23 · 24/04/2014 13:51

Lil I only got my BFP with first response a day before AF and it was very very faint so don't give up yet :-) before that I kept getting bfn! Smile

Why oh why did I decide to re do all the gloss in my house Blush

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 13:50

lillamyy how many DPO are u?

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 13:49

I've had AF like cramps today having a feeling that I could be out :( AF not turned up but cramps are telling me she's about to jump out. I really hope not :/
popple it's awful poas addiction! Lol! I still want to test today just to see but I don't have tests in the house atm n that's the only thing that's stopping me!
lillamyy it's not fair is it, ttc is an emotional journey but we'll get there eventually

lillamyy1 · 24/04/2014 13:35

Sorry to hear about AF Bears. Sad

I've gone and poas with the first response one - I just couldn't wait and it's a BFN again. I've got a feeling that I'm out now because although it's 3 days before AF due, it says on the packet that it's 98% accurate 3 days before. So frustrated!!!!!

It's just so rubbish that it happens to so many people on a one-off dtd, but when you're trying every couple of days it still doesn't work! Angry

BearsInMotion · 24/04/2014 13:03

Thanks all - DD is 2 and an absolute delight. Is it bad that I was looking forward to mat leave so I can spend more time with her?!

Popple85 · 24/04/2014 12:02

Bears, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you too! Just been to visit a close friend from work who's nearly 41 and just given birth to a beautiful baby girl- she'd been trying for years, given up and then fell pregnant when she least expected it. How old is your DD? Hope she cheers you up today Smile

I am all stocked up with FR and CB digital tests... Now I just have to sit tight for at least another week and a half before I can use them. Cupcake, I can feel myself starting to get obsessed with POAS and it's only the first month! It's only gonna go downhill from here...

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 07:55

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for u Bears :)

And Ducky I can remember having painful hips when I was pregnant, I think that's the worst thing!
Think I'm trying to convince myself I'm pregnant lol

Ducky23 · 24/04/2014 07:47

Ermmmm it can be sudden but it's definitely more regular. I also have insomnia and very painful hips when I lie on my side

BearsInMotion · 24/04/2014 07:22

I hope not. I am nearly 40 though so don't have long. Still, even if it doesn't happen i have a perfect DD already :)

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 07:21

I will update :) I'm addicted to this thread almost as much as poas! :p
All u newly pg people, when u have to pee (tmi) is it sudden? Like last night and this morning I don't have to pee but then suddenly I'm desperate! Or maybe it's because I'm drinking so much more :s

Ducky23 · 24/04/2014 07:06

Sorry bears Hmm
Fingers crossed for next month

Cupcake I hope you can still update us at the weekend!!! Grin

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 07:03

I know it's disheartening when AF appears :( but ur not too old at all! It'll happen when it wants too. I keep telling myself that.
I ttc for a whole year then gave up and went on the pill as decided to wait. Well I then got pregnant on the pill.. Lol! So I deffo believe it'll happen when it wants to

BearsInMotion · 24/04/2014 06:54

Me too, just feel really flat today. Worried I'm getting too old and left it too late :(

Will still check in on Saturday to see your BFPs! :)

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 06:27

Oh no sorry to hear that Bears :(
Really hope next month is ur month

BearsInMotion · 24/04/2014 06:15

AF here, I'm out :(

Cupcake92 · 24/04/2014 06:12

Woo still no AF !! :D

lillamyy1 · 23/04/2014 22:59

That sounds promising. The weirdest thing I've got is that by now I should have appalling pms, but I haven't.
Apart from that, no signs really.
Got another first response right here but AF not due until Sunday so at least should wait til sat. It just looks so tempting though!

Cupcake92 · 23/04/2014 22:57

I was having creamy cm and today nothing at all :s and my belly has been having weird tugging feeling. It's not cramps tho, I can't explain it :s

KatoPotato · 23/04/2014 22:55

I just want to make it through Friday with no AF... I was feeling all kinds of crazy symptoms last week but nothing at all now... In not hopeful

Cupcake92 · 23/04/2014 22:53

Anyone feeling pretty nervous about Saturday?
I'll be on holiday when I test :s

lillamyy1 · 23/04/2014 22:49

Thanks kato and cupcake xx

KatoPotato · 23/04/2014 22:49

Yes we'll hopefully all test together on Saturday!!

Cupcake92 · 23/04/2014 22:47

Lillamyy I've never been in that situation before but I know sometimes hard decisions have to be made, but they are made for the best of reasons :) u know u are now ready for a child so u can give that baby everything it needs and all the love u can give it! U made the right decision, so don't feel sad about it, feel proud that u waited to be able to give a baby a great life :)
I hope u get ur bfp on Saturday, we'll test together! Fingers crossed for us both :)

KatoPotato · 23/04/2014 22:42

This is my first trying too, please don't feel too sad about what happened before, sometimes the most responsible thing to do is to make the right decision taking everything into account.

DH and I had a termination about 10 years ago now, and now have a gorgeous 4yo boy so please don't worry about conceiving after a termination. I know it was the right decision at the time and I still stand by that now. Please don't give yourself a hard time! Xxxx
